I was at this Gagra hotel in September! It's a great time! It's not crowded and cozy! The hotel met all our wishes! There is a dining room of its own, it was fed as if for slaughter, tasty and not expensive! Thank you very much to the girls from the dining room, Svetlana, Ika and Rada!!! The room had everything you need, including a large balcony like a terrace! All around with a beautiful view and palm trees! The eye rejoiced like a child! The sea is literally across the street! And it was precisely because of the noise from this road that I honestly removed half a star in my assessment! If you are fine with sleeping, then stay at this hotel! I removed the other half of the star for the smell, most likely from the carpet in the rooms. My friends and I had 3 different rooms, and everywhere there was a smell of musty damp carpet… It just couldn't be weathered.. When the windows and the balcony door were open, the smell was a little less noticeable, but at night you had to close the door from the noise of the road, and then the room was filled with this smell. Why there is an old carpet flooring on the floor, which cannot be cleaned well, up to the sanitary norm, remains unclear… If you don't care about such an inconvenience, then feel free to stay at this hotel! It was the best place in terms of location!!! If it weren't for that and the wasps on the beach, then my vacation in Abkhazia, I would rate it 9 out of 10! Why 9, because I, the crow, would have to hold my bag tighter in front of me, then in my minibus, tipsy men, seeing where I put the money when I tried to pay for the fare, when boarding, would not steal them from there, when exiting the minibus, and also would not have to to save a friend from ruin, who was simply talked to, hypnotized by local gypsies, tying some strings on her arm, they can see under a well-paid roof there, they walk quietly in a crowd and, without a twinge of conscience, uncover the wallets of naive tourists, at the market, and in the park area. Of course, I do not take into account the fact that you will find yourself in a place where time stopped in the nineties. If you are nostalgic for these times, then a vacation in Abkhazia is for you! The nature is awesome, the sea is beautiful! There are no buoys for which you can not swim, at least swim where, no one cares about you! The hotel offers guided tours, they are worth visiting! In general, the rest was a success, for which I, and my friends, are very grateful to this hotel and Abkhazia, a blessed place, in general! I wish them development and integration into modern technological reality! I would especially like to see the beautiful, in the past, Empire-style railway station restored, Gagra begins with it! A few of my videos and photos near the hotel, and the train station, I'm trying to upload, I hope something will attach.
We stayed at this hotel for 7 days. I really liked it. The location is convenient to walk to the beach, the hotel has its own underground passage to the beach. The dining room is excellent, we had breakfast there all the time. The food is delicious and satisfying. On the territory of the hotel, as in the jungle, it adds its own entourage. The air conditioning in the room worked perfectly, hot and cold water is available. The towels were changed after three days. There is an ironing board on the floor. The staff is pleasant and helpful. We are happy with our stay in this place.
We had a family vacation at the Gagra hotel for 10 days. The hotel is clean, everything is there for a comfortable stay. The hotel has its own dining room, at affordable prices. The territory of the hotel deserves special attention, there is a lot of greenery. There are 2 parking lots, if you are driving, then there will be no problems. A separate plus is that there is an underground passage for access to the beach. We express our gratitude to the managing Armida for her responsiveness and hospitality! 👍
It's a great place. An old Soviet holiday home, but with a new renovation. The room has a large balcony, air conditioning and a comfortable bed. There is a dining room inside, the food is quite simple, but it is very convenient for breakfast. There is a washing machine (for a fee), which is important for me personally. The sea is 40 meters away, in front of the hotel there is an underground passage across the road, which, given the local driving traditions, is a very big plus.
Caution! The hotel has different rooms: renovated and, to put it mildly, not. Check with the administrator what exactly you have booked: otherwise you will find yourself on century-old sagging mattresses, and carpet smelling of some kind of rot on the floor, bathrooms with old tiles and plumbing. Part of the room stock is old, dating back to Soviet times.
I really liked the hotel!Firstly, beautifully restored rooms, secondly, thanks to the excellent staff, we were offered a more spacious room for the same price, thirdly, it takes some 3 minutes to walk to the sea and you do not need to run across the road (knowing Abkhazian drivers it is very dangerous, even on a zebra crossing), and there is a personal underground passage.I advise you, the best hotel in Gagra
-100 stars, disgusting place with disgusting staff
Not only did we fight with the admins every day so that they would banally clean up, we also slept on springs for everyone! These are not mattresses, they are solid springs. They swore to change it, changed one mattress out of two and threw it into the ignore. Everyone here doesn't care about your comfort. It is impossible to find the receptionist at the counter, you need to call so that her Majesty comes down to you and the conversations are off. The Internet works every other time, the rooms smell unpleasant. I will not wish the enemy to get here.

The hotel is surrounded by greenery, the territory is well maintained and clean, a 15-minute walk to the sea.
