Nice hotel. But the rooms need to be renovated with new ones. The old ones have a strong smell of dampness. In general, everything is fine. The dining room is lovely in the hotel. Delicious, large portions and budget-friendly. The location is great, the sea is 5 minutes away by crossing. We were settled ahead of time without any questions. The nature is amazing. The view from the balcony is gorgeous. Palm trees, bananas, huge cypresses, amber trees and even osmanthus grow on the territory. Squirrels are jumping through the trees. Of the minuses, I would note that you should not take a view of the sea from the side of the road, it is very noisy even with a closed balcony, trucks start driving right under the windows at night. And another disadvantage is that this is a completely unguarded area. Anyone can get into the hotel. There are several entrances and exits, there is no security. Well, the lack of nearby shops and pharmacies was also not encouraging, but everything is solvable. Despite this, we would love to return to this hotel and recommend it to our friends.

We had a family vacation at the Gagra Hotel in the second half of June. A good enough hotel located close to the sea, it is enough to cross the road through a short underground
transition. Also, a two-minute walk away is the most famous and very popular tourist attraction, the colonnade. Well, if you go the other way from the hotel, then within a five-minute walk there is another equally famous landmark, the Gagripsh restaurant and one of the symbols of the city of Gagra in Abkhazia, which is located opposite the fountain in the Primorsky Park in the Old Gagra area. There are a lot of interesting vegetation, cypresses, palm trees on the territory of the Gagra hotel, which creates a cozy atmosphere. The hotel building itself is a four-storey building of the Soviet era, it is spacious enough inside, nice neat rooms, there is everything you need, a mini fridge, a kettle, a hair dryer, in the corridor you can use an ironing board and an iron. The hotel has its own dining room and bar, and there is an inexpensive bike rental! But the biggest value of this hotel is its administrator Shamil, very responsive, friendly, always ready to listen, advise and help with any questions that arise. Summing up all that has been said, we did not find any tangible disadvantages, from the wishes, I would like to have a more landscaped area and paths near the hotel, also in the rooms in the bathrooms you can equip shelves and more hooks! And so everything was very pleasant and recommended to all vacationers and tourists!

We are leaving the hotel today in complete disappointment😒The hotel itself is not bad, there is no service for 1. In the rooms
, Fireplaces are smeared on the walls, the shower is dirty, the dishes are in terrible condition, the dining room is generally a separate topic.The food that we tried is delicious, but there are not enough dishes all the time, first you run for plates, then you look for forks, and then you wait until the glasses are washed and you go through such a quest three times a day, the staff in the dining room is rude.We went to the restaurant in the evening, the atmosphere seems to be quite good, but half of the menu is on the stop, I had to take a taxi and go to the proven Nart restaurant, everything was delicious and friendly there.In general, you can write a lot more, but the conclusion is that we will not return here anymore!!!
