A good hotel for your money.
The staff is helpful and polite.
The rooms are clean and bright (the only thing if you want a good view in a family room, ask for the 6th floor.)
The breakfasts surprised. They are delicious and try to diversify.
There is a lot of everything around, from food to grocery stores.
And the photo corresponds to reality.
I do not know who writes all these good reviews, but personally I was completely horrified by this hotel.
I booked in advance with a friend on a well-known website (there was a post-payment), I arrived earlier than she did at this hotel. It is located in the Fatih district, and if you describe it more specifically, it feels like you have entered a huge Bankog market. There is constant noise around, large cars moving along narrow streets, shouting at each other and inviting Turks to themselves. A la market from clothing to radio equipment. And in the very center of this chaos is Emin.
You start worrying about your safety right away. And it takes 15 minutes to walk along these streets to the subway, and in the evening it's even more dangerous!
Sitting inside the hotel and waiting for a friend (I did not immediately check in, because I was already ready to leave), I was faced with the boorish behavior of the hotel owner, who is sitting at the reception. I met Russian-speaking girls (in the same hall) who said that the room was "tired", all the street noise was perfectly audible, and breakfast was a complete disappointment. And the coffee machine is broken, and the sausage resembles cardboard, and there is hair in the porridge, etc.
Deciding that I would not stay there anymore, I warned the hotel owner, who started demanding money from me (cancellation is free through the website), demanding a PASSPORT, and threatening the police....
I ran out of this hotel with a suitcase in my arms and sped off, promising never to return.
As far as I understand, this hotel pays for advertising in order to be on the list of the first in the search, so it also has a rating that is not so bad.
For your safety, nerves and health, choose another hotel and another area
Excellent hotel, beautiful view from its own terrace, excellent breakfasts, good location. We are happy with everything, we are having a rest with a small child!) The service is partially in English and Russian.
The photo that the hotel exposes, of course, is strikingly different from reality) Advantages: in the center of the historical district of the city, proximity to public transport stops, good pressure and water temperature in the shower, daily change of towels
We chose the hotel in a hurry, because passing through Istanbul, unfortunately, the choice fell on the Emin Palace hotel.. I would like to point out the following disadvantages:
⚠️The photo on the site does not correspond to reality! Everywhere there is a photo of an improved room instead of a standard one, but you can not enter this superior room even with an additional fee;
⚠️Poor sound insulation, you can hear people going to the toilet in other rooms in the room..
⚠️It is very cold in the rooms;
⚠️Lamps and sockets are held on snot;
⚠️The Breakfast is very simple, monotonous and did not like the Breakfast of cereals, muesli, omelettes, etc. don't even think (we were 5 days in this hotel, I only have one dish and not every day and not significantly..)
⚠️We got sick and asked me to bring Breakfast in the room - fuck you🤐
Positive:
Location (located in the old town, there are shops nearby, but you need to walk to the sights for 30 minutes or take the tram);
✅️One responsive receptionist at the reception;
✅️Normal Wi-fi.
