I really liked the hotel. We rested from 1.11.2024 to 11.10.2024. The rooms, the service, the territory are all at the highest level. The hotel is small, but this is only a plus, because there are no crowds of wild tourists. There were enough sun beds for everyone, even there were free ones. As soon as you approach the sunbed, a boy immediately runs up and brings a mattress with a towel. The food is normal, some kind of spicy, there are signs on the plates. They gave crabs (small ones, though), shrimps, but not every day. Nearby there are cafes with lots of products for every budget. We went to Elephant-everything was very tasty. The price for two is about 3- 3.500 rubles. We took beer at the hotel several times, it is normal but very expensive, we went to the city. The ocean is just super. There is also a sandy approach and with small pebbles (but not critical), and if you go to the left around the turn there is somewhere a backwater with no waves at all for small children is the best thing. The weather was good, even though it was only the beginning of the season. It rained 2 times late in the evening, in the morning everything is dry and clean. There were few Russians, many Germans and Indians (they come to the vyhld). If someone needs a move, he's not here. At 11, silence, the rustle of the ocean and peace.
Great hotel!
The rooms on the opposite side of the pool are newer. There is no beach of its own, but in 3 minutes if you go to the left along the shore there will be a GORGEOUS beach with a reef near the Sinamon hotel. We swam there with small waves and an undercurrent. A sunbed under an umbrella is $5. there is also a mangrove grove 3 meters away and in the shade you can use your towel for free. OCEAN view from all rooms! There are plenty of sun beds under umbrellas and in the shade of trees in the garden. The pool is quite decent in size and warm. The air conditioning in the rooms is individual, it doesn't make noise, we slept at minimum rpm +21. The restaurant is excellent, the food is delicious, but of course it's spicy. We took breakfast for dinner, we regretted it, everything is expensive behind the hotels and they cook everything in a similar style, we ate 5 times for lunch in 10 days, we only liked the Pizza hut, the local is so-so. They clean for 100 rupees every day, they put more water than the norm themselves). The floors are being cleaned . Linen and towels are not changed. They asked for clean towels and replaced them immediately.
Good afternoon, everyone!
I stayed at the hotel in late February 2025- early March. We lived in a deluxe room on the 1st floor, the side without a pool. I'm really happy. I do not understand the comments that the room was not cleaned or cleaned 3 times in 11 days. We had a daily wet cleaning, towel change, water change. They even turned on the air conditioner. For 14 days, the bed linen was changed every other day. The food was presented incrementally- very spicy, mainly local curry, medium-sharp European and not at all spicy. So you can choose according to your taste. The dinners are varied, there is always fish, meat (beef, lamb, pork, chicken). We always ate too much- everything was delicious. The breakfasts are monotonous, but you can't really walk around there.
I will not say anything about nature, there are no words that can convey the beauty of this exotic. Chipmunks run around the hotel, incredible birds fly, and a peacock has flown in a couple of times. The ocean is noisy. The beaches are clean. What I want to point out is that this area is very clean- clean streets, ocean, beaches.
We immediately got acquainted with the local guide, Rami. We used his services as a tuk-tuk driver and once went on an excursion with him along the river - where we searched for wild monkeys (found them and fed them), crocodiles, monitor lizards - we saw everyone. Then he took us to the elephant in the monastery. We went to the largest Buddha statue on the island- a lot of impressions. I was going to a beautiful and peaceful place, and I got it.
The staff and people in general are very smiling and open.
There are few Russians in the hotel, mostly Europeans and Indians. The staff speaks mostly English and German.
