I have already left a similar review about this hotel.
Positive:
- Convenient location (5 minutes to the Blue Mosque, 7 minutes to tram T1, the same distance to Topkapi and Hagia Sophia)
- There are many cool cafes nearby, but this is not the merit of this hotel
- Delicious breakfasts, but on the 3rd-4th day everything becomes familiar and monotonous.
- Russian-speaking staff at the reception
Of the cons that really spoiled the impression:
- The rooms are cold, they were from 17 to 22.03.25, the batteries work every three days, the air conditioner on the wall gives out no more than 23 degrees, at the set 27. The only answer to the request to turn on the batteries is that a technician will be there tomorrow and fix it (no). The window in the shower stall is siphoned, it's impossible to wash in the cold.
- The rooms are very cramped, 12 squares at most. You can't turn around in a shower stall, it's about 60 by 60 in size.
- The furniture and everything else is in a very tired state, the cleaner "cleans" just for show, adjusts the pillows, and as there were hair and other crumbs on the floor, etc. they will continue to lie there until your departure.
- You need to constantly ask for drinking water, soap, coffee and tea, and remind them to replenish it. Towels with holes.
- There is little lighting, there are 3 light bulbs on the edges of the room.
- VERY GOOD audibility, you will hear your neighbor snuffling behind the wall, and flushing the toilet will resemble a volcanic eruption. At night, everyone walks down the hallway, laughing, shouting, running, and didn't get enough sleep for a couple of nights.
- There is a railway line 20 meters from the hotel, well, it's clear, I won't explain all the charms.
- The headboard of the bed is made of iron, people often bump their heads, the pillows are small and uncomfortable, and the mattress creases.
- The hair dryer buzzes like the roar of a racing car or tractor
I managed to get enough sleep, have a decent and nutritious breakfast. However, the problems with the liquid that flowed out of the faucet and shower are puzzling.
