This could be a nice place, especially when there is nothing similar around - only shops and a few restaurants, but not really just a nice coffee cafe.
The place is open all year long, at winter there are glass walls to protect from freezing weather.
This cafe could make more revenue and service much better if it would open earlier hours (around 7 am) and late at evening.
It's located right on the way to a bus station and is perfect to take coffee while walking during the morning hours to work, but the cafe is always closed.
When at evening hours it will be nice to have an opportunity to get some snacks and to enjoy the city center area near famous Tashkent City with cup of tea. But again, it is closed after 7 pm or so.
The owner of the cafe needs to organize simple electricity connections for a laptop 💻 and WiFi for every guests who is in. A lounge background music for nicer atmosphere and to attract more customers.
The menu also needs to be better worked out - to have something sugar free, sandwiches and so forth.
There is good potential in my opinion, but seems to be the management of the cafe not really caring about business turnover and the service satisfaction. It runs as it runs - effortless.
I put 4* just because I had good service from the barista, who helped me with the connection of my laptop (to one wall with the fridges) and made OK cappuccino for me. Otherwise I would put only 3*.
Hopefully this review will help to make the place better and change to the original purpose - nice cosy cafe with take away coffee, some fresh pastry and a convenient place to have some relaxing time after work. The place that generates a good level of Income and a nice rating from visitors.
Should it be in this way - it is up to the management to decide!
Funny, when I finished writing my review the cafe Director passed by. I made him my suggestion, lets see...
The hotel is normal, we came across a room without a window, but there was air conditioning.
It is very convenient that the ironing board is in the hallway. There is also an additional toilet on the floor.
The breakfast is delicious and varied.
The staff is excellent, we asked for permission to come for breakfast 15 minutes early, as we left early for Samarkand - no problem. Thanks a lot.
Disadvantages: we ordered a transfer from the airport from the hotel so that we wouldn't have to look for adventures at night, but he just didn't arrive. I had to take a taxi at draconian prices, as it took me a while to get my bearings. It's not pleasant.
In general, if we ignore the transfer, we liked everything.
By the way, Yandex.Taxi works great. The prices are low. They've never been from Moscow.
Polite and friendly staff. Excellent varied breakfast. Delicious brewed coffee. Spacious and cozy room. A comfortable wide bed, Decent decoration of the rooms and the hotel itself. Chorsu market, Tashkent City Park, circus, Pakhtakor Stadium, metro are within walking distance.
Great location, wonderful staff,
attentive and correct attitude, service, nice
and comfortable rooms....!
Within walking distance of Tashkent City (Shopping center), a magnificent park...!
A solid, confident four! The location is top! Within walking distance: Tashkent city, a clean, beautiful, well-maintained area with appropriate prices. Chorsu Bazaar is an ordinary market of the 90s of Russia, with very tasty food, unsanitary conditions and prices corresponding to this market, but delicious! It's not inherently delicious, but it tastes delicious! 😁 parks, metro, wine and vodka shops (you need to walk) 😁 The hotel is clean, beautiful, rooms are cleaned every day! There are a lot of staff, they speak at least 3 languages (Russian, Uzbek, English). The breakfast food is delicious, all of it! One minus can be noted: there are interruptions with food or plates, they are not in a hurry to serve there.
Pros: close to the park and the market, near the bank, a good breakfast. There is a bus stop within walking distance and a metro. There is tea/coffee/sugar in the room, a kettle, 2 bottles of water and cola /fanta, all of which are replenished daily. There is also a bathrobe, hairdryer, and all bathroom accessories.
Minuses: 1) they gave a room with a constant hum of the generator, when asked to change it, they said that there were no available rooms. We packed up and decided to move to another hotel - we immediately found available rooms and were relocated. Why it couldn't be done right away is not clear? 2) breakfast is delicious, but at 9 a.m. the food ends and if you do not ask for more, then they will not add it. They also asked if there was porridge. It's not on the buffet, but if you ask, they'll bring it. It is also a strange position, people do not even know about the existence of already cooked porridge. 3) the accommodation was overshadowed by the fact that on the last day, during cleaning, our slippers that we brought with us were thrown away (we went in our own because they are terry, and hotel thin ones are cheap). The administration could not comment on this fact, they just shrugged their shoulders. It's not so much a pity for the slippers, as the fact that they could not have thrown it out at all.
The hotel is good, but the service is lame.
We rested from November 1st to November 3rd. I liked the hotel and the service, the guys are friendly, courteous, they will always help, they will tell you, the rooms are clean, the beds are large and comfortable, the towels are the whitest, they cleaned the room every day, put 2 bottles of water, tea and sugar, there were one-time sets with toothpaste and brush, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner in the shower. The breakfasts are very tasty! We arrived at 8 a.m. there was a full variety of food: two types of porridge, samsa, broccoli in batter, stewed chicken with vegetables, side dishes, various dishes with eggs, pancakes, salad, greens, olives, olives, delicious pastries and fruits, juice, mors, tea, coffee, milk.
The hotel is very conveniently located, near the bus stop, metro. Tashkent has excellent logistics. At bus stops, there are maps showing the movement of buses, different routes have their own color, the ticket price is 2000 soums (16-17 rubles). Across the street from the hotel is Tashkent City, with a magnificent show of singing fountains, we watched three performances every half hour from 18-30.
When booking rooms, know that the rooms are located like in a liner, i.e. two rows of rooms in the middle will be windowless, but with air conditioning and a hood, the ceilings are high, probably 3.2 m
. Next to the hotel is a circus, Chorsu market, in the other direction is the Peoples Friendship Palace and a huge flagpole, below is an amusement park.
I really like the hotel. We are staying for the second time. The rooms are clean. Cleaning is carried out every day. Every day we put water and a bottle of Cola with fanta. The breakfasts are hearty and delicious, but the most gorgeous location is one bus stop to Chorsu market, 10 minutes on foot, not far from Tashkent city and Medjik city, too, just two stops. The staff is very polite and helps with all questions. I really liked the hotel
It's all good. A clean, small room. Tea and bath accessories are available. Drinking water, Coca-Cola and Fanta were brought every day. Garbage was collected, as it turned out later, it was not done everywhere in hotels, in Uzbekistan. Good breakfasts 👌
Convenient location. The Peoples' Friendship Square can be reached on foot slowly. There's a restaurant nearby where there are excellent dishes, very tasty)
Minus. Small robes))) Well, just like children) but this is a small minus.
You can stop)
Very clean is a huge plus. The city is a 20-minute walk away, not far if you go there to work. But the road is so-so, the crossing, uneven sidewalks, in general, you can't walk in heels - I've been wearing ballet flats all week.
The reception staff is pleasant, they will always wish you a good day and help you with your luggage.
On the downside: breakfast starts at 8 a.m. I tried to make an appointment for 7.30, but in the end we agreed to 7.45, and nothing was ready at that time. This is very inconvenient for working people on a business trip.
Strange cleaning. I put towels on the floor on purpose so that they could be replaced - instead, the same wet towels were hung on hooks or taken away without hanging new ones. You can 't get fresh linen in the evening . For some reason, one blanket was taken away (there was a room with two single beds).
The Internet is bad, it's impossible to work with it.
In general, this is a decent option if you do not come to work or do not get up early.
It is necessary to work with the cleaning of rooms, as the standards are not respected.
Always polite staff
Very cool guys
Thank you very much to everyone
Especially Ruslan
Prosperity of your company
May there always be customers
The breakfasts are very cool and delicious, there are always different dishes
Thanks to the chefs who always cook delicious
In general, everything is great with you
Super service❤
I advise everyone to stay at this hotel at 19:46
The rooms are clean, always neat and beautiful. In general, everything is cool there
I liked the hotel. We rented a room without a window, but the ventilation was good, we arrived late and were no longer interested in the view from the window. The room had everything you needed. The beds are comfortable. There were no complaints. The staff speaks Russian. They made a registration for us, as we somehow overlooked it. The location of the hotel is good. Near Tashkent City, metro, market, shops, cafes. The breakfasts are varied and delicious.
A great hotel in a great location. Delicious and hearty breakfast, clean rooms, excellent service. Polite, friendly staff. In general, I liked everything!
The hotel is located within walking distance from the sights of Bukhara. There are cafes and restaurants nearby where you can have a delicious meal! I definitely recommend this hotel!!!
I liked the hotel. Clean, cozy, friendly staff, excellent breakfasts, convenient location. I give this hotel 5 out of 5. Thank you for your kindness and hospitality.
A wonderful hotel, in the very center!!! The service and cleanliness are at the highest level, the breakfasts are hearty and varied, there are many fruits to choose from. The staff is friendly, they will always help with any question. Transport is within walking distance. Tashkent City Park is also nearby.
The staff is not qualified, and training is required for both the reception staff and the maid service.. and the restaurant staff reminded three different managers three times about early departure and the need for a lunch box.. I had to go to a restaurant myself in the morning, where my voice was raised.. As a result, a purely formal lunch box with one sandwich... without water. I left it in their room as a keepsake.. The maids do not return the items they left behind, a reusable shaving machine and a very decent aftershave cream (volume 50 ml) were discarded as disposable, according to the manager. … I do not recommend the hotel. There is only localization near Tashkent City. There are no other advantages. The worst hotel out of 6 hotels in different cities of Uzbekistan during my stay in April this year.
Not a bad hotel. The room has everything. Please note that some of the rooms have no windows. Very bad breakfasts. Tashkent City, Chorsu Bazaar, Peoples' Friendship Square and the metro are within walking distance. Payment for accommodation is preferably wanted in cash.
A stylish modern hotel in the city center, within walking distance of Tashkent City, ATMs, Navoi Avenue, a couple of restaurants and a coffee shop. The rooms are equipped with everything you need. Comfortable beds, air conditioning, tea/coffee making facilities, kettle. Mini fridge. A good selection of music channels on TV. The breakfast is a buffet, the choice of food and fruits is varied. I really liked it
Great hotel.
Great location.
The restaurant and the breakfasts are beyond praise.
There is one caveat - there are no windows in some of the rooms... I just got into one.
Therefore, it is 4.
We stayed with my husband at this hotel from 28.09 to 6.10 2024. Reservations were made from Moscow. We looked at the photos of the rooms for a long time, settled on an improved one with a large bed. And they did the right thing - there are some rooms in the inner block without windows. Nothing for a short stay, but it was important for us. Our windows were large. The room is nice, spacious, with a refrigerator, TV (there are channels in Russian), water, tea, coffee, etc. are supplied every day. Breakfast buffet - a fairly wide selection of various dishes - from porridge to mini samsa. Eggs, fruits, cheese, always a few salads, pancakes, rolls, hot in marmites, sweets. Instant coffee, tea bags. The location is good - three metro stations are within walking distance. The nearest Chor-su. And the famous market is there too. The price-quality ratio, in our opinion, is optimal.
But the main value of the hotel is its staff. Special thanks to the manager Abdurasul (young, always friendly, ready to help and resolve any situation!). As well as employees Anvar and Ruslan! If we happen to return to Tashkent, we will only come to this hotel.
We were passing by the hotel and decided to go in for coffee inside with a guest from the USA, we sat and asked to go to the toilet, which we were refused. I was ashamed in front of the guest, I asked the staff several times our guest is a very respected guest from abroad and what opinion he would have about our country and your hotel, they told us no difference
I said shame on you
You need to install a coffee machine for breakfast, replace the irons - they are burnt, ironing boards and there will be 5 *. And it's not bad, the room is clean, in the center - conveniently located.
Helpful staff, delicious breakfasts, comfortable beds, daily cleaning! I really liked it, mentally and comfortably! Convenient location, 10 min walk to Tashkent, 20 min to magic city, in the evening you can comfortably watch more than one musical fountain!
the hotel is not bad, the bed is clean, the location is convenient, but there is a busy road nearby, you can hear through the windows. The breakfast is hearty, but without frills.
The location of the hotel is good, walking distance to Tashkent city. The room was windowless, but it was booked on a budget. Breakfast is a buffet, but the choice is small, everything ends all the time and you have to wait until they bring it.
Great hotel, great staff, very attentive. Daily cleaning, snow-white linen. In the room shampoo, shower gel, conditioner, disposable toothbrush with paste comb, bathrobe, slippers, hair dryer. Supplies are replenished every day. A kettle, cola, fanta, 2 bottles of water, tea, coffee, sugar will also be replenished daily. The breakfasts are delicious, it is not possible to eat alone. It's hard to single out someone, they're all super. Thank you guys very much, if I go to Tashkent, then only to you
Everything is great! The breakfasts are delicious. Everything is clean and tidy. The staff is professional. You won't regret it. The location is convenient.
The hotel is great, the breakfasts are just wonderful and the menu is very varied and everything is delicious. The room has everything you need, slippers. Bathrobe, soap accessories.
Everything is fine - the breakfast food is varied, delicious, the staff is polite, all questions were answered in detail, the room was always kept clean and tidy. Thanks!
The fact that the room will be without a window was not stated at the time of booking. Problems with the supply ventilation. It is very stuffy to sleep at night, the air is dry, there is no way to ventilate, the air conditioner did not work either. The beds are without covers, which is strange. In the bathroom, there is a curtain in the shower that does not match the width of the shower itself, as a result, everything becomes flooded with water. Upon arrival, I had to ask to wipe the floors from dust and hair.
upd. after a few days after the eviction, they were allowed to leave things in the storage room, for which thank you very much!
A very nice, cozy hotel. The staff is very polite and will help if you have any problems. Quiet, calm and clean. Delicious custards. Close to all the attractions, almost in the center. I advise everyone
A nice small and cozy hotel. Delicious, very hearty breakfasts. The rooms are clean. The room has water, soda, tea, coffee, kettle. The staff is polite.
Near Tashkent City with a gorgeous park.
The rooms are small but comfortable, with comfortable beds. The rooms have water, cola, sprite, and bathrobes, which are changed daily. Good breakfasts in the restaurant.
Great hotel, lived here for a week. European 3 stars - clean and tidy, not varied but delicious and good breakfasts. Cleaning every day. Toothbrushes paste slippers bathrobe hair dryer kettle are included. Polite staff. One of the disadvantages is audibility.
We live here now! We really like this hotel. There is a pleasant smell throughout the hotel, 100% cleanliness, the staff is responsive, everyone is friendly. The breakfast is very tasty! Towels and bathrobes will keep you clean! The bed is comfortable, air conditioning, and drinks are brought to the bar. Thank you very much, we realized that we did not lose the choice! It brightened up our vacation in beautiful Uzbekistan! 🫶❤️🇺🇿✨
A good hotel for those who do not plan to sit in the room. I slept, had breakfast, and went about my business.
+ The staff is friendly and helpful.
+ The location is convenient, close to the city center.
- Repairs were carried out outside the window, it was very noisy.
- I heard every sigh, cough and telephone conversation of our neighbor.
- The same type of breakfast.
The 1946 Hotel is an ideal place to relax!
I recently spent an unforgettable week at the 1946 Hotel and was impressed by this wonderful place. Everything in this hotel was at the highest level.
Firstly, the hotel staff showed exceptional hospitality and care to each guest. They were always ready to help and provide information about local attractions.
It's all clear. The staff is polite and courteous. The breakfasts are great. A huge plus, the temperature outside is 45 degrees, but inside it is cool and fresh and pleasant smells around the clock. There are absolutely no foreign odors. Clean shower, toilet. Change of linen every day. Everything is 100% in its segment%
