In September 2024, my husband and I had our first vacation in the Republic of Abkhazia.
09/10/2024 near the New Athos Waterfall, we got into an unpleasant story: right behind the souvenir market, my husband was stopped by a stranger who, talking and clouding his head, gave him a hammer and told him to mint a coin. Then he took my husband aside and said that the "coin of happiness" is worth 2,000 rubles. Since the stranger was with two comrades who were watching us, my husband did not argue and gave him 1,500 rubles.
Outraged by this situation, I turned to the nearest police station at the address: Gudauta district, New Athos, Lakoba Street, 1.
When contacting the police station, all the staff were polite, they listened to me carefully, after which we drove to the New Athos Waterfall, where my husband was waiting for me. However, the "coiner" hurried away by our arrival.
The next day, the funds were returned to us.
I would like to sincerely express my gratitude to all the police officers who were on shift on 09/10/2024 at the police station – New Athos. I would especially like to mention Dinarik Gudalia. Thank you for your warm attitude and help.

We had an accident.
Abhaz is guilty, but of course he does not admit it, they also rush! They don't talk normally. Russian women are not considered people at all, they don't even talk.
They were forced to leave the documents and the car, but in return they did not give any piece of paper that they took everything away. Everyone is setting up that you are to blame.
And they didn't take the driver's license from Abhaz!
In short, I had to sign that I agree with the guilt, otherwise they would not even have given me my passport. And if you are suing, then you will also be unlucky, you will be judged by the local court, which will side with abhaz. They will also discuss everything in their own language and tell you something else. There is no part, conscience and law there! You can't prove anything.
Not everyone survives accidents on their roads, how they drive is scary! Even minibuses with people are running around the mountains!
Speeding, oncoming traffic through a solid lane, overtaking on a serpentine is the norm🤬
So many did not die during the war, as after.
Think before you go there if you need problems. If you don't believe it, read other reviews, the same thing!
In Russia, too, there is such a sea and it is just as clean! Adler, for example, the same stones on the shore.

Хочу поблагодарить заместителя начальника милиции города Новый Афон за высокий уровень своей работы, который верно служит своей родине. Это человек с большой буквы, знающий своё дело. Ох были бы все работники гос. службы высококвалифицированные как он, то в любой стране мира царил бы порядок. Чтобы все понимали этот человек достойный сын своего народа. Жалко что таких людей мало. Когда он помогал попавшим в трудное положение как я людям, он не называл своего имени, просто говорил, что он сотрудник милиции и помощь людям это его долг. Очень скромный и порядочный человек. Даже моих слов мало... Спасибо Вам большое!!!
