We rested in the middle of July 2024 at the paid tourist parking lot of Counter-1. Immediately upon arrival, the impression was spoiled by the general appearance of the parking lot - nettles, aspens (knee-deep in places), the relief of the parking lot is curved. The parking lot itself is small - having set up tents, there is no place left for children to play. The water in the lake is clear, but there is a lot of garbage and a lot of aquatic vegetation at the bottom, so the desire to swim in the 30 degree heat immediately disappeared. But without despair, we found a place to swim in the neighboring parking lot, where it was a little cleaner and the bottom was sandy. But there was a surprise waiting for us - cut legs on shells and leeches, which they took off after bathing. This is probably why the National Park decided to put up a sign banning swimming in the tourist parking lot. The gazebo was large and spacious. But how can there be no surprises - the roof overhangs are located so low that it led to involuntary injuries even for people below average height. There was plenty of firewood in the parking lot, but they were all raw.
If we briefly describe our vacation on the Braslav lakes, then:
The advantages are a spacious gazebo, a good view at dawn and sunset.
Cons - unkempt parking, raw firewood, traumatic overhangs of the gazebo roof, the reservoir is unsuitable for swimming.
Summing up, I want to say that after driving 400 km, all the participants were disappointed, no one understood what they paid the money for. There is no desire to repeat the rest on the Braslav lakes!

I express my gratitude to the entire staff of the Braslav Lakes National Park:from young to old! I met Braslav region in 2009 and it still turns out to be a warm welcome with every visit I make - either with my family, or with friends, or with colleagues underwater hunters! The beauty of these places cannot be described or conveyed!
It is better to see once than to hear a hundred times!

The two of us were vacationing in Braslav, and we had one fishing rod. We just wanted to throw it from the shore, we thought it was free, but the locals told us that we still need to get a ticket. We bought a one-day ticket for 4 rubles (June 2022) for a worker, and a pensioner was given a free ticket. We paid by card.

- well, a wooden kennel with a stove and cobblestones from the fields cannot be called a bathhouse!
- yes, make a regular cellar in the ground for the safety of food and chilled drinks, since there will never be electricity in parking lots
