The architectural wave is certainly impressive!
You stand and realize the idea and embodiment of the author! Very unusual! You can't find that anymore. A unique replica of the Soviet era.
And the high art of building!
Early mosaic work by Zurab Tsereteli. In principle, you can find a lot of diploma works by students of architects of the USSR in Abkhazia.
The mosaic has been preserved well, even without proper care.
It fits beautifully and very elegantly into the landscape of New Athos, a small cosmetic repair would not hurt, which apparently has not been done for a long time...
I didn't even know that the shell stop in New Athos was Tsereteli's work. There are no more such in the city, so when they say some kind of landmark, they always say - go right or left from the shell. For example, the beach of the Rodina hotel is just opposite this stop. You won't get lost. You can probably hide from the rain. It's also useful. The shell is quite large. This is not a bus shelter for you.

According to rumors, this is a course work of a novice architect Zurab Tsereteli, with which he coped perfectly. It is a pity that not all the stops of his work have been preserved in Abkhazia ((
It's a very beautiful stop. It is a pity that it, like many other places, is in an abandoned state. But still, I recommend that everyone who is vacationing in New Athos visit it. The stop is beautiful.
This is what is called a "work of urban art"! It's incredible! It would seem that a public transport stop, an ordinary building made of iron and concrete, can it be such a wonderful structure? It turned out it could! And where? Yes, in Wonderful Abkhazia! Indescribable delight!!
These stops are the Kings of my love. I hope the government will find the means to restore them. It's a legacy.
It is still very well preserved in Athos.
Fragments of a former civilization, I always tell you that this is exactly the Tsereteli who did not understand what he did in Moscow. I used to make great stops.Although maybe someone likes Peter on the arrow.
A monumental thing. It has been untouched since Soviet times. Neither time, events, nor the weather have spoiled it... Nearby you can take a bus, which for reasonable money you can get to Gagra and the border with Russia.

An extraordinary stop, to say beautifully, to say nothing. Not far from the sea, it looks rich and symbolic💥👏
I would call it a work of art of the Soviet era, it's a pity the condition is no longer very good and the stop, as I understand it, is not particularly used for its intended purpose
