We lived on the 23rd floor, with a view from the window: to the sea and to the neighboring block of Orbie City. Convenient location, five minutes from the beach. The apartment has everything you need to stay. Despite the fact that even out of season a large number of people live, there were no neighbors to be heard, good sound insulation of the rooms. In mid-September, there was practically no queue at the elevators.
The room has not been renovated for a long time, the air conditioner was blowing very weakly (acceptable for mid-September, but it will be impossible in summer), the bed linen needs to be updated (there were holes in some places). The room was not particularly clean, it would be advisable to do a general cleaning at least once every few months. For those who are going to drive: the parking available at the hotel is negligible, they had to park the car in paid parking lots (on average 30 GEL per day).
The impression of the hotel is not unambiguous.
Booked as a hotel, it turned out to be an apartment.
The room itself is not large, but it had everything that an apartment should have.
The bed is great. There is a mirror at the head of the bed, almost the entire wall, it is not clear why, probably to expand the space.
At night, inadequate people scream, checking the echo between the buildings.
The construction outside the window did not interfere with anything, only the appearance (given the number of floors, it is not a question).
There is a very big problem with parking. And this is at the end of September!
But, here it is next to the embankment and walk as much as you can!
The resettlement managers are not in too much of a hurry, so start bothering them in advance. Considering the price at which we booked (a little more than 100 per day), all the disadvantages are small things.
We lived on the 11th floor and listened to the legends that during the season, people from the upper floors waited 15-20 minutes for the elevator.
The beach is nearby and it is everywhere! The pebbles are uncomfortable, take special shoes for swimming, it is more comfortable to walk and swim. 10 beds for the whole day, we took two for 5 for half a day.
The sea was clean, although the reviews were about muddy water and rotovirus. We must have been lucky!
Visited twice
1) in May, it's not the season.
you could find parking spaces right at the entrance
, no queues at the elevator, clean and pleasant
2) in July-August, at the height of the season
, you can park your car only in 10-15 minutes
of the elevator queue, sometimes you had to wait for 10 minutes
for a lot of people
, tourists screaming at night from the balcony, etc
the room is small, repairs are not updated
more cheaply, you can find better options, just advertisers work well...
Lovely comfortable room with sea view and all amenities. Good sound insulation. A room with a balcony where you can have a cup of coffee or a glass of champagne in the morning.)It felt like home.
I had a rest in July 2024. Of the advantages, this location is especially in the evening and close to the sea. A beautiful view from the room is if you are successfully settled.
Unfortunately, in the season you expect elevators, this is a terrible dream! To go down or up, you can expect 15-30min. Once I had to walk from the 44th floor, which took 12 minutes and turned out to be faster than expecting an elevator
The numbers are as shown in the picture. The only thing is if you plan to wash and wash dishes, then you should buy powder and cleaning products. There is a hairdryer, iron, dryer in the room
Cozy rooms, a good bed, equipment and everything you need for a comfortable stay. Excellent views of the sea and the city, especially from high floors.
The only disgusting thing is that some of the rooms of the apartment hotel belong to private individuals / investors and in the evening they knocked on the door and said "I'm from the owner to pay for the room." It is unclear from which owner, as if we were "tenants", only at the reception we found out that payment for rooms not under the management of the hotel is not taken at the reception area.
The room is great, everything is great, everything is in the room, the location of the hotel is also very convenient. I reduced the cost of elevators and room cleaning. It was cleaned 1 time in 7 days. And they came in the evening when we were in the room.
We stayed in Block C, a very cool hotel, a super view, the staff was friendly, there was a problem with the door - they sent a person, they decided very quickly
Clean, beautiful, smells delicious, is in the right place in the city, there is everything nearby, absolutely everything, from small household shops to mega malls
The sea is just around the corner
Without words! Gorgeous! Excellent breakfast, rooms. I was pleasantly surprised. I liked that there were a lot of people living with animals. This is an indicator of the status of the institution. Bravo for that! I would like to see homeless people treated kindly. The only thing I would like is that in a double room with one bed, there would still be two blankets. A decent hotel! Thank you for your hospitality!
We had a wonderful 3-room apartment, sea view, the room has everything you need.
The rooms are cleaned every 3 days.
The most interesting thing is the elevator! But if you calculate the time, it is quite tolerable!
We lived with friends in Orbie for 3 nights from 09.08 to 08/12/2024. A huge number of people!!! Elevators can't handle this flow. Thank God we lived on the 6th floor, so we could go down the stairs, and friends from the 25th floor spent up to 30 minutes on it. Of course, there were no fights (as they wrote in other reviews), but they were pushed into the elevator very hard...
There are no complaints about the number itself. The only thing was that there was no microwave, there was an induction cooker, but there were only plates from the dishes.😳
3 huge ORBIS buildings came to one beach. I remembered our south in the 90s...lying sunbathing on top of each other.
As a result, we were happy to leave the ORBIT!!!
We stayed for two nights with the family, the hotel is quite pleasant. We took a two-room apartment with a view of the fountain. The view is beautiful at night. Out of poverty, there are a lot of people in the lobby, at the reception and in the elevator area during the peak hour of registration from 13 to 15. There is no parking area. The area around the hotel buildings is not landscaped.
If you are not confused by the large number of residents in one house, in connection with which there are mainly queues at the elevator (maximum 3 minutes), then everything else is fine. Since the location is excellent, the very center of the boulevard, there are a lot of beautiful buildings around, such as the Colosseum, attractions and everything is at hand.1st line right by the sea👌 From the apartments there are mostly beautiful views of the sea, the sunset, or the mountains of Adjara🤍 We always contact an agent named Avtandil.
A good hotel for its price. I was in Block A, and the city residence. I liked the residence more. Since there is a washing machine, an iron. And there is almost no queue for the elevator. And I also didn't like it in block A because of the wild music all night, from a nearby nightclub.
The apartment is nice, everything has a TV, refrigerator, washing machine, stove, iron, there was only a hair dryer. Close to the sea, minus the big elevator, I had to wait a long time.
If you have come to relax, you want silence, comfort, then you definitely do not need to come here!!!! This is a huge building with small apartments, there are very, very many people, huge queues to leave by elevator. To go down, we will also have to wait for a free elevator, we have repeatedly walked from the 39th floor, since all the elevators come full! In the evening, with the windows open, it is impossible to sleep, the music downstairs is thumping terribly! One plus, the view from the window, there are no more of them!
The Orby City apartments did not disappoint as before. Convenient location, gorgeous views, the embankment, a large number of decent places to eat. There is only one drawback - the problem with parking a car.
The view is cool, but the sound insulation certainly wants the best. But it's clean, a nice bed with a mirror. It's the best thing to relax with a woman! It turned out that I am a great videographer
I'll start with the pros:
A beautiful and large-scale building
That's where the advantages ended
This hotel has been a great nerve-wracking experience. Choosing a hotel, we focused on the availability of breakfasts and a swimming pool, but upon arrival we were informed that there was no breakfast, and the pool was paid - 30 GEL per person, to say that we were shocked is to say nothing, because all this was included in the price!!!!
But you can still live with it, but with the problem of elevators - no! Let me explain, block A consists of 54 floors, each with 70+ rooms, and there are only 12 elevators and they are slightly smaller than a regular freight elevator. Every day, at any time of the day or night, there is a queue for elevators, a constant crowd and bustle, elevators go slowly because they stop almost on every floor, since no one can go down or up. Because of this, you can wait for the elevator for 10, 15, 30 (!!) minutes, no one wants to wait, so people are pushing, climbing, afraid not to get into the elevator. We spent 20 minutes waiting for the elevator to get down and up to the room, and drove the same amount, because as I said, the elevator stops on almost every floor (and there are 54 of them!!!!)
The cherry on the cake was the dirty linen that was made for us, as well as dirty towels.
In general, the hotel is good, just to spend the night in it, leave early in the morning and return to the room only in the evening. If you want to swim in the sea and quickly run to wash in the room - you will not succeed, spend at least an hour on the ascents and descents by elevator.
The attitude towards the guests is not caring
Amenities - 0
There was not even water in the rooms, but the website indicated its availability
There are no parking spaces from the word at all (((. Queue for the elevator.... Not correctly expressed....THERE IS A HUGE QUEUE FOR THE ELEVATOR.... This is the first time I've seen this. If this does not bother you or you are without a car, then everything else is generally very good): the room (we had it clean and quiet), the location by the sea, a bunch of cafes. If you stop in passing, it is also convenient. Photo from the 38th floor.
a terrible place, just an anthill to get down from the 22nd floor, the elevator needs to wait 30 minutes, we were in a hurry, the four of us had to go for the car, as a result, the elevator burned out after 30 minutes, it was filled with 3 members of our family were able to sit down, and we waited another 30 minutes for the fourth, it's a horror, don't go for anything There, just because of the beautiful view
Of course, there are not so many people in Batumi in the month of October, so we were lucky)))) We lived on the 44th floor with a view of the sea and Turkey. Good, clean and comfortable
Look to the right, look to the left!!! Because of the view from the 42nd floor alone, I liked everything. The room has everything you need for living: a small cooking area, a refrigerator, a shower, a toilet, a washing machine, an iron.
Not a bad complex, the staff is sooo responsive
But there is a construction site around and it is very difficult to find a parking place for cars
There weren't many problems in the off-season, but it's hard to imagine that in the off-season
Right next to everything you need, large shopping malls, banks, pharmacies, shops, a promenade (embankment) and fountains (very beautiful)
It's a terrible place. My brother tried to move in with three children.... There was no light in the room! We have to wait 10 minutes for the elevator! And there are a lot of "foreign" guests of not very pleasant appearance. The money was returned and we found another room.
The advantages are that the manager is always in touch. Cleanliness is at 4.
Now the cons:
- it is very difficult to find a parking space
- there is a lot of garbage around (this does not apply to the room, but to the entire orbi complex)
- the biggest disadvantage of the Orbis complexes is the elevators, you can wait 20+ minutes. From 0:00 to 8:30, of course there is no problem, but the rest of the time is a nightmare.
It's terrible, it's a complete mess, you can't call anyone. I booked In, as a result, they told us that we were going to private owners, and this is C, first they brought us to the 26th floor, then an error occurred and we were sent to the 36th floor. The room is fine, they couldn't get through Wi-Fi for 2 days, no soap dish, no really toilet paper. It's a mess....
It looks beautiful from the outside, especially at night.
Inside there is a huge dorm with all the consequences.
There is a lot of pathos. In fact, dust in the eyes.
The rooms are a nightmare - very low ceilings of 230 cm. Everything killed.
The continent is appropriate. Moreover, this continent is doing very obscene things.
There is no parking, from the word at all!
Keep in mind that any reservation does not work, do not hope. The cost will be upon arrival and it will be high.
It is better to look for accommodation in small hotels nearby.
We lived on the 49th floor. Great view. There was not enough bathroom mat in the apartments. But there is, in principle, the necessary minimum. The view from the window is simply bombastic👌
Superior hostel, lived in it for 4 days, the room has everything you need, a kitchenette, dishes, washing machine, microwave, kettle, bathroom, shower, hairdryer, towels, air conditioning, TV. Of the minuses, when the hotel is fully loaded, the elevators can not cope, you can wait for 15 minutes.
Spoil your vacation, spend more nerves. Kilometer-long traffic jams, hour-long queues for elevators and ascents and descents. The cards for entering the rooms are made for 14 days, after they need to be updated, they were taken for 6 nights, they could not enter the room for 5 days. And you can change it only upon request from the owner. We stood and waited for a very long time. A lot of people, everything on the beach, a crowd. I will not come again, I do not recommend booking rooms in Orbi to anyone, it is much better in another part of Batumi. It was a wild horror, run away from here🤯
If there was an opportunity, I would put "minus 1". We arrived at the booking of the booking at 23.00, we were warned that we would be late. After arrival, a quiet nightmare began: the representative from the booking stopped communicating with us. Our staff- three adults and two adult children - just stayed in the hallway. Booking a booking involves debiting the full amount from the card upon cancellation of the check-in. And how can we stop by if they don't communicate with us??? Closer to 3 a.m., when we started complaining in the booking office, a man came to us, offered two separate rooms, respectively, twice as expensive as originally booked, plus those on completely different floors. Well, we are vacationing as a family, how can we live in different floors? It was very annoying that the elevators work terribly, they absolutely cannot cope with the number of people who want to move to high floors. No kidding, you can stand in line for 15-20 minutes. If it is still there from below, then from above, if you are on some fortieth floor, the elevator simply does not come. We would like to share our impressions of the sea separately. It absolutely accurately copies Anapa, but instead of sand, it uses stones.
In general, it was one of the most terrible of our trips, for which we can thank your hotel. And also an absolutely stupid booking system that does not allow you to put honest reviews. I will be very glad if I helped someone not to get into such a stupid situation
On booking, they position themselves as a hotel with screaming 5 stars, but in fact these are apartments in the same building as the hotel, private apartments that are rented by a management company, and payment is accepted only in cash, warehouses give the impression that they work semi-legally. The room is not bad, the photo of the room corresponds to the proposed one, but as a result the condition is worse than promised, the door lock is broken, fortunately, although the door closes, but I would not leave valuable things there, also some power cables hang above the door inside, they did not even bother to fix them, they just hang over my head! the bathroom is in good condition, the shower needs repair. There were no slippers, no shower accessories either. In fact, this is a huge anthill in a building of 50 floors, and on the floors with apartments there are probably about 60 apartments, for each floor, respectively. imagine a stream of people. According to the description, breakfast is offered, and then it flashes in the text that this is a continental breakfast, but who will pay attention to it when 5 stars are originally on the cover!!!after all, it is assumed that there will be a buffet, as befits 5 stars with breakfast included, and not the delivery of a poor breakfast to the room, with the cheapest sausage, or ham not the first freshness... Or an undercooked meat patty... This is exactly the kind of breakfast we got, we booked a room for three ....
In general, as a result, what can I say - do NOT RENT a ROOM with breakfast!! the apartments themselves are not bad in principle, but the fact that they assign themselves 5 stars is just a divorce of people, for this alone I can no longer recommend this place to stay!!! If they wrote everything honestly, it would be better, but then the flow of people would immediately decrease, since they would simply scroll through this institution in the list, because in the off-season there are plenty of places in all establishments and better.
Cons, there were no: dishwashing detergent, dish washing sponges, salt, sugar, oil, soap in the bathroom (there was in the shower). Upon arrival, one roll of toilet paper, then apparently buy more yourself. We are used to a different "configuration" of apartments. The reception is poorly versed in everything we asked. We asked two things - here is our reservation, we came correctly (we thought for a long time and even said that it was not correct, but then realized that we had come correctly), the second is to issue us an invoice (we could not issue it). The furniture and repairs were fresh, but there is a feeling that they will fall into disrepair very quickly. The area in front of the hotel (including the sea) so-so, the park area is much better or closer to the old town (much to the right of the hotel). Pros, everything is new at the time of our stay. Total: out of more than three hundred hotels and apparatuses where I stayed, this one ranks fourth from the end.
Perhaps I give a positive assessment only for the location. It takes 5-7 minutes from the hotel door to the beach.
Breakfast is included only for stays of 3 or more people.
The room itself is an apartment. There are appliances to eat or cook. 4 towels: 2 large, 2 small.
Now about the disadvantages.
Check-in: call the phone number specified at the time of booking, guests are registered on the ground floor, who most likely pay with cards - there is an eternal queue of people from Saudi Arabia and Turkey, since they come in large companies.
You go to another floor and pay in cash. All this, most likely, goes past the cash register, no document verification, they give you a card and that's it.
Room: no hair dryer, no towel in the shower, you need to take out the trash yourself. There is no beach towel. I noticed at the check-out that the service does not deliver 1 and low-quality shower and shampoo to other rooms, but changes fresh towels every day, and delivers washing products. The room is a little shabby (the plaster is coming off somewhere, the balcony is very flimsy), but overall it is good, the view of the sea from the side of the balcony. It doesn't match the pictures.
Departure: before 12 is indicated in the booking. At 11:30 a.m., they started knocking on the door demanding to leave the room. After that, for 40 minutes (!) there was a queue for the elevator to go down. There are no stairs in the hotel. The people responsible for the settlement and eviction at the reception are the same and the same people. You will be asked to wait until privileged people who pay with cards are served. If you want to stand in line, then count for at least 50 minutes. I just handed over the card and wrote on WhatsApp that I was leaving.
The biggest disappointment of the whole trip was the hotel. There is no access system, there is no security. The hotel claims to be Turkish, but does not match the level. The only and biggest plus is the location. Nearby there is an excellent restaurant with Slavic cuisine, many shops, vegetables, fruits and, most importantly, the sea. Otherwise, I would give a solid 3 out of 5. With a 5-star service in Turkey and Thailand, it's not even worth it.
For 770 GEL you can rent an apartment in Batumi close to the sea.
The apartments are great. We booked through the Island. The owner of the Apartment communicated with us online, explained everything, helped us to check in, was always in touch. We left a day earlier, returned the money for the last day. The apartment has everything you need: dishes, stove, washing machine. The mattress is comfortable (this is important for us). Great view from the room!
The organization of accommodation for residents leaves much to be desired (this has nothing to do with the owners of the apartments, we have only gratitude for ours). The point is that this is a huge residential complex, check-in through the reception. The queue is very long, the lobby is stuffy, the administrators can't cope quickly. There is always a queue for the elevator. You can stand for a long time to go up or down. There is no parking from orbie City. There is a parking lot 20 meters away, but there are no places there. Who managed it-well done;) It is very dirty near the city (but this is generally a problem in Batumi), the beach is clogged. This is the first and last time we are in this city.
Affordable price, excellent location right by the sea in a relative distance from the noise of the city. Cafes, shops, shopping center in 10-15 minutes walk
A large hotel.
We booked a room through booking. The reception was a bit tricky, but the manager decided everything.
The room is clean, there is a kitchen with a stove and a small amount of dishes, a kettle, you can cook breakfast. But we didn't find any cups, we drank tea from soup plates. The rest of the room was perfect, clean, fresh, cozy, the air conditioner warmed very powerfully. There is a TV in every room. Closets for things. There was also shampoo/balm in the bathroom. In general, I recommend it rather than not)
There are problems with elevators queues at rush hour and depending on which side of the window one side is quiet the other is cheerful from the embankment music and singing until morning the choice is yours
Everything is fine, except for a large number of people, in the summer you can wait for an hour for the elevator and go down or ride in it for an hour! There is also a garbage-filled area around, which is not pleasant. Sometimes the villagers themselves throw garbage into the corridor and forget to throw it out, but it lies and smells fetid all over the floor. The apartments are all standard, but they are managed by different companies. Some companies may tell you right on the day of arrival that there is no water in the entire complex, but this is not the case) the water is turned off only in those apartments where the owner himself or the management company did not pay for housing and communal services on time. So they want to raise you for money)
If you want to save your nerves, do not rent an apartment in Orbi City. All buildings are from 31 to 50 floors. There are few elevators, some are broken and all vacationers are rushing back and forth! Do you want to stand at the elevator for 40 minutes after the flight with a suitcase? Insults, jostling, finding out the order will spoil any vacation and level out all the amenities of the location and rooms!!!!
I didn't like the hotel at all, firstly, everything in the room is broken (toilet seat, bathroom shelves, clothes dryer, there was no iron), the refrigerator is very small, large bottles do not fit. The elevators work terribly in the hotel, it is impossible to go down at lunch and at an approximate time, because they do not come, they have already walked down from the 21st floor several times…
And we are not the only ones.
There are no normal roads near the hotel, it is impossible to come to it normally, you have to go around constantly in a circle. Nearby is a construction site because of which all this is happening, noise, etc.
In general, we will not wish anyone to stay here, the area is terrible. It's better to look for something in another area where the infrastructure is better.
The most disgusting hotel in my entire life, I don't know where this place got such a high rating.
The elevator is very eternal, you can stand for 15 minutes to get to the room. The room is disgusting, dirty, 2 towels, in general, I highly recommend it.
In principle, the place is pleasant, but there are nuances. There are no batteries, if you run out of water, no one will bring it to you, the power supply is average.
