We are having a rest at the Ontario Hotel, this is not the first time. A wonderful hotel with friendly staff. The rooms are very clean. Snow-white linen, there is a hairdryer, a refrigerator. On the balcony there is a table with chairs, a clothes dryer.Everything is there for a comfortable stay! There are many cafes and canteens nearby, everything is very convenient. To the sea at a calm pace of 5 minutes. The hotel is very cozy and clean. Linen is changed every 4-5 days, cleaning is done.Very friendly hostess Agatha.Thanks to her assistant Elena🤗In a word, Smart Guys! We really like it.

A wonderful hotel!!! Close to the sea, shops. Cozy clean rooms with good furniture, comfortable beds, kettle, TV, refrigerator, hairdryer and clothes dryer. There is an ironing board and an iron on the floor. The internet works well on every floor.
The most important thing is the friendly, helpful, wonderful administrators Rita and Bacha! Many thanks to the hotel and all the staff for the warm welcome!!!
You can choose and book excursions (we took them only at the hotel).
Opposite the hotel there is a good dining room, which is open from 7:00 to 21:00: delicious and varied food (especially trout in foil, boats, Kiev cutlets, ear, chicken chops and fragrant green tea), charming waitress Olga will tell you the choice of dishes. We only ate in this dining room.
We are very glad and grateful to the hotel, the dining room and all the people who work there for a wonderful vacation in a beautiful country!

I really liked the hotel, it was bright, the Windows were panoramic, the rooms were spacious, the furniture was light, very cool, clean, we were very cozy. TV, refrigerator in the room, ironing boards and iron between floors. There is a possibility of washing for a fee. The view from the balcony is gorgeous from 3-4 floors. The mattresses are good, the bed linen is clean and pleasant, the pillows and blankets are good. The hotel is not on the mountain at all, but higher and away from the main street, you could sleep quietly and calmly)) I can't hear the music from the local cafes))

There were two disadvantages and quite serious ones-the lack of a microwave (there were children, it was impossible to heat something up simply, in the morning and in the evening, especially when you didn't run to a cafe), the price of a microwave penny, why didn't you buy it, it's strange, and the second is terrible Internet, in some rooms there was no work at all, if you suddenly do a job, it's a problem!
And I recommend it, the price-quality ratio is excellent!

The new hotel is located between Novaya and staraya Gagra. The rooms are excellent, the room has new furniture, carpet, air conditioning, TV, tea and soap accessories. Balcony with sea and mountain views. Room cleaning and linen change are provided. It is a 5-minute walk to the sea through a shady alley of tall eucalyptus trees.
The staff is very friendly and welcoming. You can order breakfast

We had a rest in Abkhazia for the first time))
The choice fell on this hotel based on photos and reviews.
I must say right away, all photos match🙌🏼
The hotel is clean, ideally located, 5 minutes to the sea, cafes, shops, everything is nearby. We went to the beach in the Middle, it's very clean, there are sun loungers (for a fee of course), and there is wi-fi from their bar😁 we were at the peak of the heat, stuffiness, but the split hotel is just a cannon! If the splits worked poorly in shops and cafes, like they didn't pull, there were no problems with this in the hotel 👌🏻 The administrator Eva, a very polite, pleasant woman, solved all our questions instantly! And he will tell you where to eat, where to go, and so on. In general, I recommend this hotel🫶 Thanks!

Very nice hotel! We are happy with everything! The administrator Eva is just a kind-hearted person ❤️the hotel is beautiful, Wi-Fi works great) even reaches the nearest cafe to the left of the hotel) the room is excellent) the beds are cool, comfortable, the view from the 4th floor to the mountains and the sea is clean everywhere, there is an iron between the floors, there is toilet paper and bags, which is very convenient, if you suddenly need them, in general, I recommend this hotel to everyone! We returned from Abkhazia a week ago. We had a rest at the Ontario Guest House, where we moved from another hotel. The guest house is located in the middle of Gagra, near the sea. It is well located, just off the main street. True, there is a railway nearby, but trains rarely travel and do not interfere with rest. Even, on the contrary, there is some kind of zest in this. There are two cafes nearby, and another one on the way to the sea. The prices are affordable. Shops are also nearby. The territory of the hotel is small, but it is a guest house. The interior is clean, modern renovation, Wi-Fi worked everywhere: in the room, in the hall, on the street. The room has everything for living: a large bed, a sofa, a refrigerator, a TV, a wardrobe, a table, a kettle. The air conditioner is working properly. The shower room is clean, there is shampoo and shower gel. There were no interruptions with hot water. Clean white towels (unlike those washed in the previous hotel). There are ironing boards on the floors. They do laundry for an additional fee. We took out the trash every day, changed the bed linen once. In general, we are satisfied with the conditions of living in the guest house. June 2023, everything is in the rooms, kettle,hairdryer, shelves.lockers, dryer.teapot.The house is very decent, the tiles are everywhere inside, not scratched,the furniture is almost new, the beds are comfortable, on 2-3-4 floors each room has a balcony!!!Three minutes to the sea, the location is gorgeous, shops and so on are all nearby!!!you can go to the market in novaya Gagra by minibus for 10 minutes, or by taxi up to 300 rubles!The staff is polite, the receptionist Eva is a very decent and decent person!!!Thanks to all the staff!!If someone doesn't like cleaning, well, what can I say if a person is a pig, then nothing will help!!!Make yourself at home, just don't be a pig!!or just clean up after yourself, this is not a 5 star hotel!!!For Abkhazia, the interior is 5+.Do not doubt that your vacation will definitely not be spoiled in this institution!!!There is only one minus and the owner's request to pay attention!!!this is wi-fi, it only works adequately on the ground floor, on the other floors there is a router with a SIM card in the corridor, our equipment is very weak, it just did not reach the room!!!and if it did, then there is not enough traffic for everyone!!!It is necessary either to have a normal wired Internet connection with a normal router or to put the same routers in each room one at a time!!!I think it's not expensive, 400 rubles per month per room is a trifle!!!The smart TV works via the Internet, we never used it. I stayed at the hotel in early October 2022, very comfortable, at home.
My room was clean, cozy, bright, and I slept very well :)
Also, it was possible to order a transfer from the airport, available at a cost, well, without straining, I got to the place late in the evening.

We lived in this hotel from 07/23/2024 to 08/22/2024 on the third floor in room 32, someone with a dog lived in the room before us, dog hair and dog stink everywhere on the carpet, and finally the most terrible thing is fleas, which we brought home safely from the room in suitcases, the hotel is terrible. There is no generator of its own, the lights are often turned off in Abkhazia, they sat without light and water for half a day, there was nothing to flush the bowel movements in the toilet. Mattresses, bed linen with stains that can no longer be washed.

A great hotel near the sea. It is located between the old and new Gagra - it is convenient to walk in any direction.
There is a bus stop nearby (although minibuses stop at the stroke of a hand).
All the furniture is as new (or really new). Very clean. There is WiFi, cafes and shops nearby. The sea is a 5-minute walk away.
There is air conditioning (including for heat), a kettle, a chair, tables, a wardrobe, an entrance hall, a refrigerator, beds, bedside tables. Everything you need for living (without cooking)

I was on vacation with my husband in September 2022. I liked the hotel and the location (less than 5 minutes to the sea) and the number. A quiet, peaceful place (located between the old and new Gags), the room is clean, good furniture, attentive staff. We were comfortable and pleasant here.

I liked the hotel, good location, 5 minutes to the sea. You can walk to novaya Gagra, and in the other direction to the colonnade. The room is clean , the garbage is taken away , the bed linen was changed once a week . The only drawback was problems with the TV , at first it was not there, then they brought it , but there were problems with the connection .

A good guest house: service, furnishings, location - everything is good. The only drawback is a weak Internet connection 🤷♀️ A wish to the owners is to change the Internet equipment to a more powerful one. There is no private parking, there is an inexpensive paid parking nearby. It is 5 minutes to the sea, a good beach, a cafe nearby.

We chose a hotel for Booking, looked at the reviews, believed)))
We do not recommend it!!!
Upon arrival, we offered the 2nd floor, room 25.
As soon as we entered the room, the smell of mold hit our nose (allergy sufferers pass by right away). There is carpet on the floor, everything is wet near the toilet, there is a fungus (((.
In the bathroom, everything is in mold: lamp, curtain, floor mold ((( the water from the shower all pours onto the floor and, accordingly, into the room, which is why the carpet does not dry out. The plumbing is barely breathing. It was squeamish to wash and go to the toilet, someone's hair was hanging on the wall in the shower ((((. The room is definitely not worth the money. The facade, the reception +, that's the end of it.
From the balcony, the view of the path along which people constantly walk is not very pleasant, since you want to go out on the balcony not in street clothes, but after sleeping, for example, but you need to get dressed, otherwise they will not understand)
Initially we went for a week, left the next day, our room is more decent and cheaper))) The reviews are not true!!

I am very glad that I managed to check into the ONTARIO hotel, as there are no rooms available during the season. Great service, cleanliness and comfort at a height. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the sea at a leisurely pace. The hosts and staff are very friendly and friendly, any questions can be resolved or consulted. If you can still relax in Gagra, you want to relax in ONTARIO.

It took a long time to choose a suitable place to stay. 2 adults + a child. As a result, we settled on this DG. The sea is nearby, literally across the street. There are canteens and mini shops. The rooms themselves are in good condition and clean. Clean / change the linen regularly. The girls from the staff are responsive. You can ask where it is more convenient to get to, etc. Drinks can be purchased at the reception. On the downside, the train passes quite noisily several times a day. Wi-Fi is not very good in the room. Ants are found. From the embankment, the music can be heard for up to 2 hours. Sometimes the lights are turned off (but this is all over Gagra).In general, I recommend it. To live comfortably.

Cozy room, clean, with high-quality furniture.
A toilet with good finishes and plumbing.
Air conditioning, refrigerator, TV, hair dryer, kettle - everything is there, everything works.
The staff is helpful and polite.
The common area (hall, corridor) is well finished, there is upholstered furniture, a table.
In the hallway there is an iron, an ironing board, a room with a washing machine. Linen (if there is no balcony) can be dried in the yard on dryers.
We cleaned 1 time in 8 days, the linen was changed 1 time, but it was enough for us.
Disadvantages.
The room was on the 1st floor, in the morning we were woken up by voices from the hall and children running around. Due to the fact that in Ontario wi-fi is only in the lobby, it attracts people.
The key to room one is with the guests. They couldn't clean up or change their underwear without us.
In the shower, the curtain covers only the 1st part of the space, the 2nd part is not protected and we must try not to let water fly there.
Water from the upper air conditioner dripped onto the external air conditioner unit from the top, falling onto the track connecting the blocks. Because of this, the sound of drops was heard.

A good place to stop in Gagra. 3 minutes walk to the sea, direct access. The girls try very hard to make the guests feel good. Everything is clean, everything is in working order. I recommend it from the bottom of my heart, since we visit Gagra every year, stayed in different hotels, there is something to compare it with.

Nothing special. There was a smell from the toilet in the room, it took 4 days to fix the problem. Mattresses on beds are the cheapest and softest. An extra place for a child, like for dogs. The child refused to sleep on this cot for the second night . There is no Internet connection .
In my opinion, the price is very high . The holes in the walls are simply taped shut

The hotel is located in Staraya Gagra, 5 minutes to the beach from a small slide. There is a cafe nearby, a small grocery store, but the main infrastructure is in the beach area. We lived in room 4 on the ground floor (double, without balcony), escaped here from the neighboring Ritz hotel, so we settled into what was there.
I gave 3 stars for the fact that in general it was possible to stay in the room, wash, iron things on the 2nd floor.
However, for 4,200 per day without breakfast, there are the following disadvantages;
1. The shower room is poorly made, there are always puddles, nothing dries out
2. In general, the room is humid and somehow cold, there is a slight smell of dampness (but in the neighboring Ritz hotel it smelled like in the basement, as if mold was everywhere and it was impossible to live at all)
3. The kettle did not work, the air conditioner also worked every other time and always just blew strong and icy air
4. They do not give out any shower accessories (shampoo, soap), slippers, in general, there is no service
5. The Wi-Fi in our room did not work
In general, I did not like Gagra, there is no service, savdep.

The hotel is super!!! We rested for 10 days.The hosts are friendly and hospitable.Everything is there (the comments were taken into account earlier) and a hairdryer and a kettle in the room.The room is large, the beds are comfortable.The area around is really small.But it didn't bother us.In the evenings, we walked around the Mountains, or whiled away the time on the balcony overlooking the mountains, with a bottle of wine.The rest was a success.If you are waiting for golden toilets and coffee in bed, then you are not here.Everything was fine with us.If in the Old Gagra, then only ONTARIO!!!

We had a rest for 2 years in a row, wonderful staff: polite, attentive.
Thanks to them for that (Agatha and Raphael).
Clean rooms, regular cleaning, peace and order in the house, the guests are intelligent, well-mannered people.
The sea is nearby, a clean beach, 3 catering points are within walking distance, there are shops and a pharmacy nearby. A variety of excursions can be booked on site or three minutes from the guest house.
Very friendly, attentive, hospitable
people live in Abkhazia.
If possible, we will come to Abkhazia for the 3rd time to the Ontario Guest house.
