we rested from 01.08 to 9.08. everything is cool, but the hotel needs to install pools for children and adults, a children's equipped playground, the territory is huge. Check-in, accommodation is all super! the food seems delicious, but a little fatty and there are a lot of spices, fruits: there were apples so-so, melon and partially orange, banana and kiwi. This is a minus! In the morning, we enjoyed eating stuffed pancakes, omelets, cheesecakes, cottage cheese, yogurt. Lunch and dinner are almost the same type of food. trout fish was a couple of times, chicken. I wanted ordinary beef. we found a shortcut past the stage, so we took it and closed it!!! why??? It was possible to open the second gate... The staff is very friendly, responsive, and friendly. The maids cleaned every day, well done. What was needed was always helped. We bought the best factory wine in the shop. Yes, there is a factory nearby. the prices are great. There is not enough store Pyaterochka or Magnet! A huge fenced area with TWO football fields)) The building is new, the rooms are clean and cozy. Everything is there (TV, refrigerator, air conditioning, kettle, kitchen utensils). The lock in the room with an el.access. Two elevators (for those gaining weight). The dining room is in a separate building (I consider this a plus). It's like a buffet, delicious, but don't expect a special assortment. There is wi-fi, of course it is weak, but in the absence of cellular communication, it helped a lot!
The main advantage is our own very powerful generator! Due to the frequent blackout in Abkhazia, a very important thing! It is located far from the building and its work is not annoying.

Nice quiet, clean hotel. It's quite good for 3 stars. It is not a very convenient location to the sea in 20 minutes along unlit paths through the private sector. There is nothing on site. There is no playground or a decent outdoor recreation area. There are power outages, water outages (for a maximum of 5 minutes). If someone has enough sea hotel, then it is quite suitable. Pebble beach. For those who like more active recreation, it is better to stay in Gagra. Or you can go from the hotel by public transport (taxi) for a walk)

My husband and I visited the Olympus Hotel for the first time in September 2023, where we really liked it. The hotel is renovated, new furniture, orthopedic mattresses. The room had everything: bathrobes, slippers, kettle, hair dryer, soap, gel, TV, air conditioning on the loggia, a table and two chairs. The food in the dining room is excellent, at home. They wanted to come again. But the disappointment is that there was no last year. And there is: a pack of dogs running around the territory and begging for food. Food that is impossible to eat. The hotel is clean, of course, but behind it; there is dirt and cow cakes all around. I'm not going anymore. The sea is clear, sometimes contrasting due to the flow of the river.

Cozy rooms, the view from the window is gorgeous, there is a kettle and a refrigerator, very comfortable mattresses, pillows, satin bed linen, thick curtains and tulle in the entire window, which is very convenient and not always found in the rooms. A large cozy balcony with a table and chairs. But san.the node is very small, the toilet is flowing and jets are splashing out of the shower in different directions. This causes constant dampness on the floor, fortunately there was cleaning every day and the towels were changed by the feet. The staff is super! They were fed for slaughter, but at the end of the rest it became worse with food and its variety. To garnish three types of potatoes is too much)) The green area, the stadium is great for jogging in the morning or at night, there are shops and pharmacies. I want to write a review about the Olympus hotel, in Citrusovy village. Usually, when choosing a tour, I always read reviews. And there were a lot of good, positive ones. Therefore, we decided to go to this hotel. The room is nice and big. We had a view of the mountains, it was beautiful. There are a lot of dogs and cats on the territory, over which we took patronage. That was the end of the good. For 12 nights, it was not real to wash in the shower. Hot trickle or cold water without pressure. The heated towel rail is always cold, so there is always a musty smell and dampness in the bathroom. Towels and linen were changed once in 12 nights. There are two receptionist girls at the reception. One is friendly, the other is always with a dissatisfied face. When I approached her and asked her to sort out the shower, she began to teach me how to use it in my 60s.
Now about the dining room. If you go to breakfast, lunch and dinner as soon as the dining room opens, you can have time to eat not hot, but at least warm food. But since there are a lot of people in the hotel, which surprised me very much, we went to eat later. There are always icy sausages and cold porridge for breakfast. Music is always playing loudly in the dining room, and for all 12 days it is on a flash drive, so we listened to the same thing. And since the music is playing very loudly, you can't hear who I'm talking to during lunch. The menu is very poor. Not once, kharcho soup was served for Abkhazia, which surprised us very much. Fruits are apples and sour local tangerines. But very tasty brewed coffee for breakfast. Cottage cheese is also very tasty. Now about the cleaning in the room, then you can say there was no cleaning at all. The taps and sink are always dirty. The floor was simply wiped with a wet cloth with bleach. In short, I don't advise anyone to come here. The hotel is not worth the money. And I don't believe that vacationers write good reviews.

We liked the hotel very much, we were pleasantly surprised)
The rooms are clean, the renovation is fresh, the room has a large number of towels, gels /shampoos, hair dryer, kettle, tea, water.Everything you need.
There were power outages a couple of times for no more than 5 minutes.They were fed for slaughter, the food was varied, red fish for dinner, always fresh vegetables / fruits.The staff is very polite, they will always prompt and help.
The only negative, but it's not even a minus for the hotel, it's a relatively long way to the sea (15 minutes for sure).And the almost complete absence of shops.There were a couple in the area, but the prices are like at the airport😄

Nice hotel, with a fresh renovation. All rooms have a balcony and air conditioning. There is also a mini fridge, an electric kettle and tea utensils in the room. Three towels, one of them can be used as a beach towel. Daily wet cleaning was done in the room. Change of linen in five days. The food is normal, without frills, but you can always choose something to your liking.

We rested at the Olympus hotel together with our daughter from 5 to 11 August 2024.We read the reviews, bought a boiler, a fitness mat to sit on the balcony, and prepared.We arrived early, crossed the border and were already at the hotel at 8.00. We were greeted at the reception by a pleasant receptionist, Kristina. She said she would be able to check in in two hours.We left our things and quietly went to the sea. And at 11:00 we were already settled. We breathed a sigh of relief, because the room was excellent, on the second floor, 206. Everything was in the room, and a kettle, tea pairs, cups, everything for tea. In the bathroom:shampoos, gel,soap,hair dryer,towels.And on the wide and spacious balcony there was a table and 2 seats, it was very pleasant!The furniture is new, without flaws.But we had to make a small rearrangement. Since the refrigerator was under the dressing table and did not allow the drawer to be opened. We put the bedside table under the dressing table, and the refrigerator next to the bed. The puzzles have come together!(On the day of departure, everything was set as it was originally!)
Everything worked in the room, the TV channels were tuned to TV series and movies.The air conditioner was impeccable, but then they began to open the balcony door at night, it was fresh and the air was just magical, they did without air conditioning.The beds are comfortable, the mattresses are new,everything is clean,the linen is used,new,snow-white.In short, I slept great.

Nice hotel! The food is delicious, everything is clean and tidy, friendly staff, try to make everything as it should be. A very large territory, but while landscaping is in progress and there is not much to walk around, there is no pool and playground, but in the morning you can run around the stadium).
We were with the child at the beginning of September, everyone liked everything. The room has everything you need: a hairdryer, a kettle with cups, towels, bathrobes, soap, shampoos, even small ones) on the floor there is an iron with ironing board.
The beach from the hotel is on the territory of the Golden Sands hotel, there are sun beds and umbrellas for free, even there is a small animation for children. The beach is pebbles with sand.
The water is clean, because a mountain river flows next to it, but ice layers of water reach from it in the fall, but if you go further along the shore, then the norms.
The place is quiet, there are few people, there are greenery along the beach and a small number of hotels. There is almost nothing to see around there, but those who want to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city are fine).
Since the water is clean, dolphins often come.

We had a rest in October.
+ There is a minibus stop near the border, it is easy to get there.
- We were moved into a room where a double bed consisted of two single beds, which was not very convenient.
+ the room had a TV with pay sports channels, air conditioning, refrigerator.

+ there is a spacious balcony with a clothes dryer.
Personally, I was satisfied with the food, you can put it on yourself. meat dishes (more often chicken) quickly flew away, but they were periodically brought out by new ones. I caught a trout once) Different side dishes and different salads. Desserts flew away in the first few minutes and appeared less frequently.
It takes 10-15 minutes to walk to the sea, in October the pebble beach was empty, there is another hotel nearby and it had free sun loungers. The sea is clear. Along the way there is a shop (with Wi-Fi for online transfers) and delicious cafes (if suddenly you haven't had enough in the dining room, which is unlikely)
Considering the price of 3 thousand per night for two, I consider it a good place. I would like to convey to the management a request to cut the lawn and grass beautifully on the territory (as the neighboring bases did), to remove the garbage that indecent passers-by throw on the territory. And cowpea, which confuse some who wrote reviews, well, it's organic, nature, they're not on the territory, the negative about this is completely incomprehensible. Dogs yes, they run around begging)

We rested from 08/20/2013. 09.2024.I liked everything very much. The room was on the 1st floor without a balcony. At first it was very frustrating, but then it turned out even better, there was an exit to a large gazebo (there was no need to go through the reception). Everyone is happy. We'll come again. The food is good (my husband even recovered), It takes 10-15 minutes to walk along the alley to the sea, this did not scare us. Thanks to Kristina, Tatiana, Ruslan (at the reception), maid Angela. They are very friendly and responsible. I fell in love with Abkhazia.

We rested in July 2024 for 10 days.
We met in principle, it was good. But after we were given a magnetic card and went up to the room, it turned out that we could not get into the room. It turned out that the administrator gave us the wrong card. I forgot to give the documents when making the registration, so check it out.
Administrators are forgetful, scattered, and optional.
One late evening, the receptionist and other vacationers sat on the couch near our room at a late hour and had intimate conversations, so that every word could be heard in the room, disturbing sleep! Only after a few remarks did the conversations stop.
It's amazing that people who have to take care of the rest of the vacationers themselves violate it.
Number. The stated number on the website corresponded to the room in which we were settled. Double room with balcony, on the second floor. There is an elevator, very slow. That's why we walked up the stairs. In the room: two single beds, wardrobe, bedside table, small table. A TV (many Russian channels), a hair dryer, a small refrigerator, air conditioning (periodically did not give the right temperature), a kettle. On the balcony there is a clothes dryer, a table and three chairs.
The curtains are dirty, the balcony door is broken (did not close from the outside).
Also, when checking in, there were 2 bottles of water, 4 tea bags, and sugar in the refrigerator. This set has not been updated in 10 days.
There are dishes: 2 mugs, 2 glasses, teaspoons, 2 small plates.
Towels are provided per person: for feet, for face, for body and beach towels.
After 3 days, the towels were not changed until I made a remark at the reception. And so the whole vacation was repeated! If you don't ask, they won't change it. The linen was changed ONCE in 10 days!
Advice! If you want the towels to be changed, throw everything on the bed in a bunch, then there is a chance that they will be changed.
Immediately about cleaning. They just wipe the floor daily and take out the trash. Put toilet paper (2 rolls). THAT'S IT!!!
The sink, shower, and toilet have never been washed!!! Nobody wiped the dust! There are terrible deposits of dirt under the sink, it doesn't bother anyone! The shower cabin is also terrible, the floor is not washed. Plumbing too.
Territory. There is a lounge area near the reception: sofas and an armchair, but there are few of them. Wi-fi is also the best place to catch it. It practically does not catch in the room, it often falls off, sometimes it writes: an incorrect password (although it is correct) is best caught in the room in the toilet and near the front door. There is a small bar nearby, but I have not seen any visitors in it. The prices in it are much higher than the prices in the store.
The territory is large, but not gentrified. The asphalt is terrible. There is an attraction of unprecedented beauty for children: a scary slide fish. Why it is not being removed is a mystery. There are many trees and shrubs on the territory. You can hear the cicadas singing))).The hotel is under surveillance by security and video cameras. I don't know how much it works, but the guards as well as the administrators are not very involved in the process of their duties.
Food and dining room. The worst nightmare of this hotel.
The dining area is small, the tables are located in a separate building and on the street under a tent. Tables are rarely wiped, there are a lot of ants on the tables and under them in the gazebo, it is impossible to sit. There are also a lot of stray dogs and cats that lure out food, running around the tables. Vacationers who are not afraid to catch diseases from them are trying to feed them.
Huge queues of starving people who take up the queue in an hour!!! Before breakfast!
The food is tasteless, monotonous.
For breakfast: omelette, salads, boiled eggs, sausages, dumplings or dumplings, porridge. Drinks: juice, tea, coffee. But to drink something, you need to hand over when the mugs or glasses are brought for half an hour.
For lunch: two types of soup. Only noodles were edible. Borscht was with sausages (apparently, which were left over from breakfast) There is not enough food. The canteen workers are in no hurry to spread out if the dish runs out. Everything was missing: bread, salads, vegetables. There is nothing to say about pastries and fruits at all. A small tray was brought out, which was enough for 4 people. They didn't put it on anymore.
If the dish ran out (and it ended quickly), it was no longer served. They put an incomprehensible chicken as a substitute (the lower leg is 2-3 cm long).
And the people who took all the meat from the dishes were also extremely outraged. They just came up and put not a dish on their plate, but fished meat out of it!!! A nightmare! No one was watching this either!
Sea. It's a long walk (15 minutes). They wrote that along the alley, but we still did not understand where the alley was. One road is sandy, not gentrified. Along this road you can find a couple of shops selling goods for the sea and so on
The second road is paved. It's better to walk along it, but there are often cars.
We reached the beach and on the very first day we experienced a shock!!!
Two hotels are resting on the beach (Olympus and another one, which is located next to the sea).
When we arrived at the beach, we saw dozens of sunbeds that just took up towels and left. These people who occupied the sunbeds could not come to the beach all day!
The beach watcher did not react, did not keep order.
After reporting the problem to the administrator, she promised to add sunbeds. But the problem has not been solved.
People (especially the elderly), hotel staff! In what kind of world is it customary to take sun beds and leave! Come to your senses!! While you are not on the beach, other people can relax! Advice to the hotel staff: if no one is sunbathing on the sunbed for an hour and a half, take off the towels and put them away!
Three years ago, while vacationing in Sukhum, those looking after the beach did so, then discouraging everyone from taking sun beds.
By the end of the holiday, the composition of the vacationers had changed and many young couples arrived. Just imagine, there are free sunbeds on the beach. Because no one ran to occupy them at 5 a.m.!!!
Excursions. The guide recommended that we buy excursions in the Biblioglobus. I have never seen such a nightmarish organization of an excursion. They picked us up early, around 5 a.m. Next, we went to collect all the vacationers of the village, after we were transferred to a large bus and we rushed to the Giant and Irina waterfalls, to the abandoned city and further according to plan.
When we reached the mountains, we were transferred from a large bus to an ordinary, Soviet bus, without air conditioning, which barely went uphill. There was not enough space for everyone, some of the people were taken by jeeps, which were supposed to lead us into the mountains to the waterfalls. Therefore, we were not immediately transferred to jeeps - a mystery. When we reached the top, we were told to order lunch, so that when we return from the waterfalls it would be ready. We ordered soup, khachapuri. After spending a lot of money. Because after the waterfalls and the rush, I didn't feel like eating at all.
We were driven like horses, and an hour was allocated for waterfalls. Without even warning that the second waterfall takes a long time to descend and ascend. We barely made it back in time. The guide did not count the people, did not check if everything was in place. As a result, 5 vacationers were picked up by a jeep and taken away it is unclear where.
Akarmara was generally disappointing, no abandoned city, just stories. We were not shown along the alleys that we hoped to meet there and take a walk. I think the tour guide just shortened this part of the tour.
In general, she was very emotional, did not hesitate to criticize tourists.
Then, again, we all ran to the temple and the apiary.
And we returned home at 20:30 (although the guide Anatoly promised that we would return at 19:00 and attend dinner)
I do not recommend taking excursions in the Biblioglobus.
There is also a transfer and crossing the border. On the way back, we were also picked up very early, 08:30, then we went to pick up vacationers all over Abkhazia. Transfer without air conditioning, two hours crossing the border without air conditioning is terrible!!!
Bottom line: I will not return to this hotel anymore and I will not recommend it.

The food is clearly spelled out in the name of the hotel - "Economy", I would like more variety.
The beach - the road to the sea takes 10-15 minutes at a slow pace, the sea is clean, cool because of the nearby Bzybi. Sun beds and umbrellas seem to be on the beach of the Golden Sands boarding house, but they are all occupied. On the village beach, these amenities are for an additional fee. There are many souvenir tents along the way, several cafes near the sea, some of them even have live music 😎
The rooms are clean, cozy, the furniture is new, the balcony is huge, but there is a puddle behind the toilet (they told the reception, someone came, smeared the toilet with sealant, of course, to no avail) The room has air conditioning, TV, refrigerator, tea station.
WI-FI is terribly slow, especially in the evenings, it only works normally in the lobby on the 1st floor.
There are four shops within walking distance, in principle, you can buy everything you need. And most importantly, there is a 10-minute walk to the Chateau Abbas brand store at the factory with really affordable prices for alcohol.
In general, I can say that the rest was a success, except for some negative moments at the beginning 😉

Great hotel. Delicious 3 meals a day, but monotonous.
There is a shop nearby, 5 minutes on foot.
There is parking on site, it was important to us because we were in a car. The staff is polite and helpful.

We had a rest in June 2024, we were put in a room on the 6th floor, Wi-Fi was weak, but it was, i.e. we could call on WhatsApp and write. Immediately upon arrival, we went to the dining room, the time coincided, and were stunned by the menu and delicious cooking, without frills, but everything is delicious at home. We were there for 7 nights and 7 days - three meals a day is just awesome!!! There is no entertainment on site, but we were interested in the sea and the sun, which was in abundance. To the sea, through the recreation center " Golden Sands ", where Olympus beach is jointly located, a 20-minute quiet walk, mostly in the shade, past shopping stalls and cafes... We came at 6:30-7:00, took sun beds and an umbrella, swam in a calm clear sea, looked at a family of diving dolphins, then came back and the sunbed with an umbrella was already ours for the whole day, there is a shortage of these funds, say nothing. The age is diverse, such a relaxing holiday is suitable for us and we were glad, although we were in different sanatoriums of Sochi from the railway, everything suited us here... My wife and I, 54 and 59, had a good time. We would like to thank the canteen staff separately! - very responsive, kind people! Come here- you will not be disappointed! There are a lot of excursions and entertainment on boats, etc. And inexpensive!!!

The Internet in the rooms almost does not catch, you have to sit in the lobby. The territory is very large, but not well-groomed at all, there is nothing for children to do in the evenings! There are deep pits on the territory, something like spillways are not protected by anything and in the dark (and it gets dark after 20:00) it is scary to let children go. The same applies to the old stands and semi-destroyed buildings! The building has been repaired, everything is clean and tidy. Questions about the floors in the rooms, it is unpleasant to walk barefoot, dirty. The staff are mostly all friendly and polite.

A quiet village for family holidays.
There are no shops , you have to go to Pitsunda for groceries . Since the pavilions are overpriced and there is no choice .
The beach is good, the sand and the sea are awesome, those who like to plunge into the sea early in the morning can see swimming whales !!!
A winery where you can buy wine and cognac.
I do not recommend taking it in the pavilions!!!
The price for the bus is 25 rubles , but the last one at 19 00 , if you are late , you will have to spend either on a taxi or on passing buses . From the highway, go close to the village .

We arrived early in the morning, put our suitcases and went to the sea. At 14h we were given the keys to the 2 rooms.rooms on the 4th floor. The room did not have a hair dryer and curtains for the balcony door. Thanks to the receptionist and our wonderful maid, everything was quickly brought and hung up. The beds are comfortable, and there is a wardrobe in every room. I was very pleased with the shower, it's really big! It's a pity there are no shelves, but we've adapted. Wi-Fi does not catch in the room, and it is weak in the hotel. The dining room is a detached building. It is better to go to the opening, although you will have to stand in line, but there is more choice. Buffet-style meals, you definitely won't stay hungry. And don't forget to thank me!
The road to the sea took us 15 minutes "not in a wreck", so I think about 1 km. There were not enough sunbeds and umbrellas for everyone. All umbrellas are occupied by the "Golden Sands" vacationers until 7 a.m. The bottom of the sea is rocky, it is desirable to have special shoes.
The tour was taken from Alan near the hotel. From 9 to 11.30 for tasting, 20 min Blue Lake, 50 min lake. Rizza, 15min waterfall, at the hotel 14.40 and this pleasure costs 2000. Decide if you like this format of excursions.
If necessary, a pharmacy, it is better to go to the 5th floor, there is also a store nearby.
We were satisfied with the hotel, especially surprised by the good food (thanks to the chefs). If you are not afraid of the road and the lack of entertainment, except for the sea, then you can safely go to Olympus!
