Beautiful waterfalls, a pond where you can swim and jump from a cliff into the water, the water is cold, but there are many brave souls. The path to the waterfall and lake is laid over metal bridges made of rebar (damaged in places) and a concrete path with stones. The nature is beautiful and fascinating. A great place for photo shoots. There are also two bears living in cages at the entrance, as our guide explained, they were picked up as cubs, so they live there.

We were in August 2023. Seeing the swimmers, I quickly ran into the water, it turned out to be quite cool, but it was cool) I think it's the most affordable. the nearest large waterfall in Abkhazia. You should not worry about the bears, from year to year on the spot, it is obvious that they are being watched. They didn't starve to death

It was in August 2024! The road is so-so! The waterfall itself is good, you can swim, jump off the cliff, the water is not cold! The entrance fee was 300rubles per person! The steps in the cafe are rotten, the road also requires attention in some places! The most unpleasant thing is dirt! There are empty bottles lying around, various kinds of garbage, a lot of trees brought by the stream! A large number of people come to the waterfall, decent money is collected, but they do not go to cleaning and repair, and it even looks like maintenance! There are no barrels for garbage, tourists would litter less on the sides! It's a pity!

A good place, not a long route, a beautiful waterfall and rifts. The water is warmer than in Chernihiv, you can swim under the waterfall, sit and look at it on the rocks or on the trunk of a fallen tree. Some even jump into the bowl of the waterfall from its ledges or the site next to it. Deep enough.

Just for once. The cost is 300. The path to the waterfall is not long. The waterfall itself is one, but big. In May 2021, they could not watch because of the large water, but they walked along the trail on the left for free. In 2024, we looked at the waterfall, but there is only a pointer to the left of the trail. I can't see where to go. Although it was beautiful to walk along the river there. The descent to the parking lot is steep. The toilet is scary.

We were there a few days ago. It's +35 in the heat.
The waterfall is excellent, the path to it along the pebbles and stairs, we took a dip, refreshed ourselves. A very beautiful place, definitely a place of 5 ⭐️
This place is naturally overshadowed by fees, a visit to the waterfall of 200 rubles, free for children, parking of 100 rubles, despite this, they came again, and the presence of cubs. I feel very sorry for them .

everything is fine, of course ... if you ignore the two cubs in small cages suffering from the heat and probably hungry, since there was a piece of wood collecting food for these unfortunate martyrs. the cashier is doing a good job carrying water in buckets for cubs and does not react with anger to questions. that's what the person who bought them and put them in such a small cage for torment thinks.... and if you put your children in this way....these are not dolls, they are the same creatures as you!!!! they experience pain, longing, etc. really, to what extent can a person be soulless!!!!! I don't feel sorry for you inhumans after that!!! in general, the tour was not crowned with success and nafig this waterfall was not needed after that ... pain and resentment in my soul from my own helplessness ... maybe Russian zoos will be able to redeem them ... First of all, real knackers - two big bears sit in a cage meter by meter in the heat, and they are not ashamed to put a jar for money "help for bears". It's immoral to make money like that. But they don't care about these poor animals.
When I started a conversation with a local about these bears, I was showered with mats, insults, etc., and that we stupid tourists had already got them)
So think about whether it's worth supporting tourism in this place
) P.S.: there was a story from them that poor little bears were found in the forest without their mother and they saved them so well, but in fact they would be rescuers if at least the size of the cage allowed the bear to turn around normally and walk around.

A nice waterfall. For me, it's more beautiful than Chernihiv and Akarmara (lower but closer and more beautiful) . The water is invigorating.You can jump 4-5 meters into the blue water... Rush.. Especially when you get out, you grab the air with your mouth like the last time.))))) We need a decontamination and handrails. Everything is written about bears above.. It doesn't even eat an Eye.

The place was very disappointing! At the entrance, 2 cubs are sitting in a cage in the heat . It 's a pity . People , what are you doing , you should be put in their place !The area with waterfalls is dirty , the water is muddy . We didn't even take a photo.. I wanted to leave there as soon as possible , we do not recommend the place at all .

I agree with the reviews about 2 bears, as I saw them poor sitting in a prison cage, there are empty baths without water, they can't run around there, they can't climb, a bear is sitting playing with some kind of piece of plastic. The desire to go and look at the beauty of nature has disappeared.

Keeping wild honeydew in a cage in the heat (thanks for being in the shade at least) is animal husbandry. Beating your chest, shouting that you saved them and it will be worse for them in the nursery - in general, wildness. Living in a two-meter cage without proper maintenance is such a salvation. After what we saw, we turned around and left. Let the rest of the guests decide for themselves.

One of the most picturesque waterfalls of Abkhazia, in our opinion. We were in January 2021 and April 2022 - we were charmed both times! You can get there by any car, from Sukhum the road is asphalt-then a good primer. There is parking and a cafe (closed in winter)
There are 2 bears living in the parking lot - Misha and Masha, handsome!

It says: entrance 150 rubles, parking 150 rubles. They came up, at the entrance an impudent Abkhazian began to squeal so that we would pay 150 rubles for the entrance and 150 rubles for the road. I'm talking for the road, are you serious? He: "Yes! You didn't fly here by air, but walked along the road - pay!" Before the first tragedy ? Or will they not care about one? They charge money for admission. The wooden flooring and stairs are shaky. Well, it's really hard to go places. And it's hard to miss someone. We were almost empty, it was easier to walk. The waterfall is beautiful, there are no questions.
And here are the bears. A separate topic. 2 animals, wild big animals, I've never seen such eyes of a beaten dog, probably in wild animals, even in a zoo. The cage is small, not even a large aviary, in the heat, the knackers are simple!!!! The disturbance is maximum.
