We really liked the hotel! It is simple and cozy. We were a little upset when we pulled into the parking lot! But then everything changed! Great location. I've read a lot of reviews about the hotel and about George! I confirm that everything is written correctly! Georgy is well done! I recommend this small hotel! And I'll be glad to come back!
The hotel is perfectly located near Avlobari metro station. Opposite is an exchange office with a good currency exchange rate.
Inside, starting from the parking lot and the small garden at the entrance, it is clean and tidy, there are tables under awnings, under which it is pleasant to sit in the air with a glass of wine in the evening. The inside of the hotel is clean and tidy, everything is in its place, there is an elevator (the hotel is 3 storeys high), in the bar you can drink coffee from an Italian coffee machine or stronger drinks.
The staff is friendly, ready to help, they speak Russian.
The breakfast is a buffet, no frills, but everything you need is there for every taste, fresh fruit salad, croissants, decent coffee, milk.
But this is not the most important thing, the most important thing is the outdoor veranda of the restaurant!!!!! Breakfast with a view of Kura and old Tbilisi is unforgettable!!!!
The rooms are clean, real 2-bedroom beds (as it turned out, it is extremely difficult to find such in Tbilisi), the right mattresses and pillows, clean linen, towels are changed every day, full-size shower facilities, everything is there, up to ear sticks, slippers and a bathrobe.
Flat-screen TV, WI-FI works great, blackout curtains for sleeping, bar, safe.
I sincerely recommend the hotel, you will be satisfied!
A wonderful place in the Old Tbilisi area. Avlabare district. Remember the TV show "Khanuma"... there is a mountain above the river, the Kura flows under the mountain. There is a bazaar behind the Kura, and an Avlabar behind the bazaar..The hotel stands on a high bank above the Kura River. The hotel offers amazing views of the river and the old town, the Tiflis baths and the opposite slope of the mountain with the monument to Queen Tamara! This is my third time in Tbilisi, I always try to stay at this hotel. However, the hotel has changed owners and brand for 1.5 years, now it is "MARCOT". Well, they repainted the facade and walls inside the hotel. And so it's the same "OLD TBILISI".
Nice hotel. It is necessary to take a room with a view of the Kura from the window. The view of the cold is gorgeous. If you get another room, you can enjoy the views at breakfast in the restaurant. The breakfasts are good. Cleaning is timely. I didn't really like the curtain in the bathroom. Birds scream in the morning
The hotel is disgusting, starting with the staff who do not speak Russian at all, and if problems arise, they immediately forget English. No "Georgian hospitality"! The rooms are already very shabby, the mattresses are rumpled, you sleep like in a pit. The pillows are uncomfortable, there is simply no sound insulation in the hotel, you can hear both the street and what is happening in the hotel. The cleaning is poor, the rooms are dirty. There are cockroaches running around in the rooms on the ground floors! Breakfast is very poor. I do not recommend this hotel
The perfect location of the hotel. Beautiful view from the balcony to the river.
Stylish rooms.
Of the minuses, the breakfasts are the same every day and meager. I would like a variety.
A cozy hotel in old Tbilisi. There is a private courtyard. There is practically no parking, but this does not spoil it at all…
The whole country is like a breath of fresh mountain air, and in this hotel you freeze and hold your breath, just contemplate… The exit from the room to the patio and the views from there make you freeze, just stand, look and think about life…
The hotel, the rooms are excellent, but the restaurant is terrible, I don't want service through, the veranda is not cleaned, there are no appliances, the bar is slow, I waited 35 minutes for coffee from the coffee machine. They just forgot : there were 4 tables with guests in the hall
We got a room with no windows - not very cool. The bed configuration did not match the one booked. But this issue was resolved during the day. For 3 days, the accommodation was never cleaned, even the garbage was not taken out. Plus, it's not a bad location relative to the center, a little away from all the fuss. But there are no breakfasts, no paid ones. Nearby is the only cafe working with 10 and a peculiar hostess. There are problems with parking, the hotel itself does not have it at all, but after a couple of houses there is, so in 3 days they pulled me 2 times - they could not leave.
A small cozy mini-hotel. Initially, we were alerted by the location - it is located behind a large hotel, it looks like an old house. But the opinion changed when we went inside. The owner of the mini-hotel, David, met us. The host is friendly and attentive to the guests. The room is clean, cozy and pleasant. The beds are comfortable. The breakfast is very nutritious and delicious.
