I had this problem: the watch is very expensive, Swiss made. I dropped them and the glass broke, the case was scratched and the mechanism stopped functioning. Well, I dropped it very much. I visited seven workshops and they refused to repair them all. And only here the master made everything, both the case and the glass and the mechanism. Thank you that there are still such masters!
A high-class master! The mechanism was assembled for me, smashed to pieces! All the masters only know how to shorten the straps, and change the batteries. And Peter, a real master, I recommend it to everyone!
I came to change the battery on the waterproof watch. After being replaced that evening, the watch began to leak and fog up. I turned to the master, he dried it and began to say that it had nothing to do with replacing the battery, it was allegedly about the buttons that decided to leak exactly on the day of replacement - an incredible coincidence, considering that the watch is only a little over a year old. There is no equipment to check the tightness in the workshop, so it seems that you will be lucky here. If you care about your watch, it's better to look for a better workshop, and mine are now on the shelf, because they fog up even from a light jog :(
