Cheap dishes are expensive. An octopus is two tentacles, smaller than rat tails, floating in oil mixed with yesterday's vegetables. A rickety table. An annoying barker, an indifferent waiter. Beer for the price of cognac. Even the begging cats are skinny here. I left hungry too.
