I have been going to this restaurant for many years, everything is always delicious, the prices are inexpensive, the service is always excellent, I advise everyone) ❤
Those who say that it is expensive, all the products are fresh, everything is always delicious, the portions are good, always clean, for such a place, it is inexpensive.
In my neighborhood, in the most ordinary old small cafe, the same dishes either cost the same, or 10-15 thousand cheaper, but tasteless, terribly greasy.
The restaurant is objectively good, for those who have been in cheap delicious-tasteless places, and in super expensive delicious-tasteless ones.
And the atmosphere for me is 50-80 years old, very beautiful✨️✨️
The restaurant "Lights of Tashkent" is a wonderful place in the very center of the city, next to the Navoi Theater and the Central Department Store. The atmosphere here is simply amazing, reminiscent of America in the 60s. I especially like the open kitchen, where you can watch the cooking process.
The wine selection here is impressive, and the desserts are simply delicious. The menu is large and varied, everyone will find something to their taste. There are good child seats for families with children, which is very convenient. The restaurant is always very clean and the service is at a high level.
The only advice is to book seats in advance, as the restaurant is very popular. I highly recommend this place for a pleasant stay!
We were at 11.20 am, so I can only tell you about breakfast. (Breakfast is served until 12, lunch menu is served from 12 to 15, steaks are served from 15).a large successful restaurant stylized as an American eatery in the style of Andy Warhol. The tables do not swing, the dishes are very clean. They chose Americano from the menu (perfectly cooked), a liter of very tasty tarragon, shakshuka with meat, kutabs with herbs and cheese (generally a bomb), pancakes with meat (very tasty). There are a lot of desserts, but we couldn't choose them))). I would like to mention the well-chosen music of the 60-80 years . Everything is super
I liked the restaurant, in the very center (near the pedestrian street), atmospheric and tastefully decorated interior in the style of the 60s. Fast service and serving of dishes. The portions are large, the products are of good quality, the taste is 7/10. If you suddenly get tired of the national food and flavor - a great option).
I do not agree with the bad reviews, the restaurant left a pleasant impression.
Excellent cuisine and service. A rich menu - everything that you managed to try is very tasty! A rich wine list. The interior in the style of the 60s is more American than Soviet, but it's not so important, it's cozy.
One of my favorite places! Children like to watch the chefs cook, everything is open! The interior is original, from the past) The dishes are delicious! Prices are rather above average, depending on what to compare with! In the morning, I was pleased with 0% of the service)
A very quiet and cozy place. The green room is perfect for privacy with the company. No one will interfere. The service is on the level. Everything is delicious. Friendly staff.
The cafe is in the very center, the cuisine is European, the price tag is high. We ordered roast beef with mashed green peas and potatoes. Roast beef is delicious, the meat is well cooked, but mashed peas have been replaced again with mashed potatoes... Unfiltered light beer is delicious, there is no dark beer. I'm lowering the score for the hack in the kitchen.
The atmosphere of old Tashkent... Very comfortable, very warm and nostalgic. The staff is very polite and helpful. The chefs are masters of their craft, the breakfasts in the establishment are incomparable, although the dinner was a little disappointing, just a little, but perhaps this is the picky opinion of a visitor spoiled by their breakfasts. It is recommended to visit!!!
It's so nice to sit on the veranda by the window and look at the huge trees, flower beds, and the theater... This is what you can come to this cafe for. And for the sake of a cup of cappuccino, it's delicious here and quite inexpensive. The rest is very controversial. The first time was 1.5 years ago, the prices were exactly two times lower! Well, it's too much, comrades, to bully like that. And you can't see the full house - the cafe is empty ...
I don't understand the enthusiastic reviews about the food - very mediocre. Kiev cutlet with mashed potatoes: the cutlet is OK, the mashed potatoes are mixed with water ((( I waited for her for exactly half an hour in an empty cafe. The coffee arrived quickly. No one warned about the long preparation of the dish and naturally did not ask when to bring coffee ..
In fact, the waiters are extremely taciturn and not friendly. They almost never appear at the table. They sent a card to pay the bill by showing the direction of the cash register at the other end of the cafe. There are almost no visitors, is it really impossible to see them off?? Complete lack of service and 20% service charge in the bill...
If you are in Tashkent and you are tired of pilaf, then come here) You can have a snack and just eat for any purse; a large, quite diverse menu, tea, coffee, desserts. We never went hungry) every business trip-we are here. The audience is decent, the waiters are trying their best. The disadvantage can be considered (well, we do) the added 20% to the service receipt. Somehow it's not humane and I don't want to leave more tips, but I would like to)
A cozy cafe, but very slow service, despite the far incomplete boarding. I recommend trying sea buckthorn tea and Kiev cutlet.
I do not recommend taking Picatte. In the original recipe, the chicken fillet should be thin and chipped, here it's just a large piece of fairly dry fillet in the dough with a small layer of filling in the middle. It's hard to eat that.
You can talk a lot about establishments, so I'll say it briefly. A good place, delicious food, courteous staff, reasonable prices. Rather than reading my review, it's better to visit this place and see for yourself
A cozy and pleasant place) in my youth, we often spent evenings in this restaurant. I advise everyone to visit and taste delicious dishes in this place
Recently, they have not been cooking very well, especially soups at lunch, there is some unpleasant smell in the hall. At breakfast, strawberries were cut into cheesecakes with a knife that was used to cut onions, the smell was unreal! A solid three for the kitchen and the room!
The place is gorgeous, I advise you for meetings or dates , the dishes are fresh , the portions of dishes are straight good size , the service is very good
Great restaurant
The menu changes throughout the day, which is very interesting and varied
A pleasant and friendly atmosphere, the best place to sit with friends, even in the morning, even in the evening
Excellent and friendly staff
Interesting design solutions. I especially like refrigerators. I advise everyone
We love this place very much. The food is delicious. The variety of dishes is good. The quality is excellent! The service is prompt, correct, and not intrusive. I would be happy to recommend it!
The place is nice and the food is also good, I've been there often and everything seems to be fine, except for one thing. The owners of the restaurant are so greedy that they add 20% of the service automatically to the cost of the order. And this despite the fact that sometimes the service is very good, and sometimes not. I also asked the waiters several times if the money was going to them. And as it turned out, it all goes to the owner of the restaurant. In fact, there are several points. 1)Why is the service 20% and not 10 or 15? Who decides? 2) Even if you are unlucky and you are served poorly, you will be charged 20% for service automatically. 3) You still have to tip the waiter separately. In conclusion, I want to say that this is practiced by many restaurants in Tashkent and even cafes. I have encountered this for the first time in Uzbekistan, everywhere abroad you decide for yourself to tip and how much to give, and even more so it does not go to the owner of the restaurant.
My favorite restaurant in Tashkent.
Cozy, delicious, pleasant service)
The top of the dishes is pate
I go to this restaurant more often than all the others and do not get bored. I recommend
Excellent cuisine and very good service. Stylish interior and great location. Moderately expensive, which gives a very high score in the price/quality category. I love Lights and I come in often.

The food was delicious and the interior itself is very beautiful. It is surprising that the restaurant's menu has seven "west" and "east", the interior style is a mix of France, the USA of the 50s, Soviet fonts))
I like how they make a mix in Tashkent.
Among the disadvantages : maintenance.
I'm sorry, but 20% is too much for such a service with "shoals".
One took the order, brought the second, as a result there was confusion, salads were delayed, the hot was eaten first. The waiters blamed each other)
Bottom line: It's delicious, but the service needs to be improved
On the day of departure, the whole family had lunch.
No seats were booked, we were seated in the hall, everyone is very friendly and friendly.
Eggplant salads, soup, beef roast beef, a green plate, everything is very tasty and Cappuccino coffee is very important to me, it is divine and the most delicious in all of Tashkent!
Thank you!
Colorful, cozy, delicious. We had breakfast early, the staff was sleepy. But I liked everything anyway. The parking is small, but there is a valet who will definitely find a place.
Incredibly long serve! Lunch is quite edible, thank you, but the waiting time is so off the scale that there was no pleasure from lunch:(
The high rating is probably due to the free coffee, don't get fooled!
A wonderful restaurant. I always have lunch here when I find myself in Tashkent. This time I came with two children soaked through because of the rain, I thought they wouldn't let me in, but everything is fine, they fed me well, very tasty (especially the Kiev cutlet), manti and Greek salad. The children drank a milkshake and I drank Moroccan tea - everything is on top 🔥
Thank you, I will come again ♥️
We were walking around the city, accidentally went to lunch. The food is delicious. But we must keep in mind that they bring tourists by bus to feed them. Which is why it is quite noisy and slow service.
Pros: pleasant interior, delicious food
Cons: dishes are brought slowly (for example, tea is carried for half an hour), used dishes are not removed from the table for a long time, they take a 20% fee to the bill "for napkins and staff work"

Atmospheric, bright..
It seems to me that almost every big city in the post-Soviet space has a restaurant called "Lights .."
We decided to visit, nostalgic.
The restaurant has a veranda where you can smoke and a main room with air conditioning.
The walls and furniture are bright, the music is in the style of 60-70.
The menu is voluminous, clear; there is a menu from the chef, a bar card.
The waiters are polite, sociable; the food is served quickly.
Everything that was ordered is quite tasty.
The bill is brought in a metal box in the form of a refrigerator )
We can go in for a snack.
