The hotel is pleasant from the outside, there is a small public beach nearby, there are shops, and friendly staff at the reception. It's definitely not a 4, but a weak 3.
Cleaning! It's nothing, as it was in the corner, and the dirt remained at the check-in.
Ants, they just walk everywhere and the staff sees it and does nothing about it, take the funds with you if you want to stay here.
At night, another huge cockroach was found in the toilet
The air conditioner is just barely breathing, if you don't open anything, then at least it will be fresh, it feels like they are doing this on purpose, saving money
The shower gets clogged, but when you talk, they clean
After cleaning, they forgot to clean it completely once, then they rewarded it with shampoos.
The breakfasts are normal, there is something to eat
Dinners, I do not know who admires them so much, but this is not restaurant food, it is so bland and not tasty that I missed half of the dinners, but delicious days when the buffet
Drinks at dinner are all paid for, tea is 2 brewed tea bags like in the room, I didn't like the wine either, at first they didn't charge money for water, then they started charging
Plates in the restaurant are dead, repair photos attached to the walls of the room

Mauritius is an island of dreams, and this hotel is a disappointment, but, fortunately, not quite complete.
Among the advantages - a beautiful hotel, a view from the window, delicious ala carte dinners (the buffet is very weak, we were hungry, fortunately it is rare), friendly staff. Not a bad room, I would have been able to recommend this hotel if not for two CRITICAL disadvantages:
1. The smell of sewage. He is terrible, it is simply impossible to be in the bathroom (especially in the morning), before vomiting. The staff is aware of the problem, trying to solve it by pouring chlorine into fetid holes and scented candles, this helps for a while, but EVERY day of our stay we "enjoyed" the disgusting smell from the bathroom. The smell also seeped into the room in the morning.
2. Theft. My earrings were stolen. The manager and an employee came, hunted, picked up some of our things (a pack of cookies and a bag of things), in an absurd attempt to find the missing. They offered to contact the police (we were on the trail. day). They said sorry and left. This is the end of the work with the loss.
If you go to Mauritius, please choose another hotel so as not to spoil your impression of the paradise island and the wonderful people who live there.

Friendly staff, as if they had come to visit good friends. The pool is on the top floor with a magnificent view of the ocean and sunsets. Restaurant and bar with the same beautiful view! Ala-kart dinners are a separate art form! You can eat according to the menu (additional payment). To the chefs.

We stayed at this place for 12 days.
Beautiful view from the roof, and in both directions.
Balconies only overlook the ocean.
It is located close to a public beach, a large supermarket and several bars/cafes.
Breakfast is included. I liked everything at breakfast.
Dinners are not special. We went once.
The staff is super friendly and helpful.
There was a problem with the air conditioner, it was solved quickly.
Several times we had early excursions, we left the hotel at 4-5 in the morning, breakfast was prepared for us)
Nice 🥰
In general, I recommend it.

The hotel did not make an impression 4*, very weak 3*!!! The cleaning in the rooms is very weak - the floors were not washed at all, only wiped (and then not everywhere)!!! The noise from the road and the elevator next to it is trash, of course!!! They gave me such a room that it was impossible to sleep !!! It looks like we were sleeping outside!!! The food is the most primitive ( there is almost no fish at dinner and a lot of food too )- we took HB and were very unhappy. The beach is the 2nd line and you need to cross the road, and the traffic is very intense, you need to be extremely careful !!! And of course the hotel needs renovation.

Bright, cozy, oceanfront hotel is generally not a bad hotel. Opposite the beach, but not the most beautiful in Mauritius. Our discovery of Truax beach) by car 15 minutes from the hotel to the south. There is a large supermarket nearby, but it works until 19, the rooms are not large, of the advantages - a beautiful view of the ocean, a comfortable non-creaking bed, cleaning every day, of the disadvantages there is a strong smell of sewage in the toilet, mold in the corners. The breakfasts are always the same, but good. Fruits, pancakes, coffee, eggs in different variations - everything you need 👌 dinners are not bad either, ala carte and 2 times a week buffet. The staff was friendly, they communicated with us in English, we understood each other in Russian. There is parking, there is a restaurant on the roof with a beautiful view. In general, it's good, you can live 😀 considering that this is almost the most budget option on the island with 4 stars.
You can sit in the toilet and look at the beautiful ocean, but I never tried 🥲

We came from another hotel, and we were a little horrified. The hotel is located near the road, it's noisy, the beach is small, the rooms are small, the refrigerator does not freeze, the air conditioners are old, one bottle of water for two. Breakfast is a buffet, dinner is like in a restaurant, it's a long wait until it's served. There are no shops nearby to buy at least some food. The ocean is beautiful- one plus ((( I do not recommend it . We liked the Qutrigger Hotel! Recommend.
