In principle, a good hostel, students are provided with everything they need (Kitchen, shower, gym). One of the disadvantages is the eternal war with cockroaches . But we must pay tribute, the administration is taking measures to destroy insects.
I've lived with cockroaches for 4 years, but it's fun. Repairs in public places are relatively new, in rooms as you are lucky. The dirtier the people who lived in the room before you, the more insects there will be in the room all year round. There are no rats, bedbugs if you're really unlucky with the room. In general, it is suitable if it was possible to agree to live in a not very dense room, then you would not have to share a table with someone. The most important thing is that if parents don't donate much, then after such a school of life, no army is needed :) If I had to choose again where to live during my studies, it would definitely be a dorm.
At first glance, the dorm is not bad, but with a more detailed look, you can only highlight the price. Which is about 12p for Belarusians and about 100p for international students per month. All the disadvantages actually come out of the price; thin walls, cramped rooms, lack of ovens and hazing, sometimes water and toilets are turned off, students run to the toilet across the street to the store. Also, if you live in a dormitory, you can easily be blackmailed by teachers, who do not find it so difficult to evict you from there)
I can advise fans of vivid sensations.
And remember: this is the dorm of the first college in the country (from which end think for yourself)
