The river exits the tunnel on one side of the gorge, goes through a huge concrete pipe into the tunnel on the other side of the gorge. there is this platform at the top of this concrete pipe.)))) one of the wonders of Soviet industrial monumentalism. Irakli's guide told an interesting legend that allegedly the engineer who designed the tunnels, because of the failure of the tunneling boards to reach the appointed time, thinking that he had made a mistake with the direction of the tunnel, committed suicide by hanging. and I should have waited another 3 hours. My nerves gave out... There is a bakery right under the chimney, they are frying some local pies. there is a tap with spring water.
