A historic building, a cozy museum. I especially liked the hospitality of the staff. There is information about the name of the place and the appearance of the city. But all the same, these are dark spots of history - about the Dzungars-Kalmaks-Oirats who settled here earlier, about Buddhism in eastern Kazakhstan, about the expeditions of Russian colonizers and gold prospectors in order to break through to the Amu Darya, India and China - all this needs to be covered.
The Museum of Local Lore is our story about our region, an excursion is held annually for our students of the National Academy of Sciences of the Medical University, students not only from different regions of Kazakhstan visit the museum, as well as foreign students from India, Pakistan and other countries. They visit the museum with interest and learn a lot of information about our area....
Very interesting halls and exhibits.
Friendly staff and guides.
I came with my grandson to introduce him comprehensively to the history of the region. I would like to thank the museum staff for the warm welcome, professionalism, and an interesting guided tour. We got a lot of impressions.
Of course, it may not have been possible to assimilate and cover everything in detail right away, so we will come again for a deeper examination.
With gratitude, Alfiya Abdulgazizovna
The museum is just a cannon bomb everything is super you can study any history of the world from these finds fascinating discouraging futuristic Toha recommends
Thanks, it was interesting! Just one thing to note, the staff in the halls are talking very loudly to each other. We're all human, but it's very distracting.
A good medium-sized museum.
You can get a historical reference. There are many authentic exhibits.
The museum staff will tell you what is special about any exhibit
The pleasant interior of the museum does not distract from the tour
The most squalid local history museum I've ever seen. I went around all the halls (I didn't count, I felt like there were 6-8 of them) in 10 minutes. The exposition is sparse, there are very few really interesting exhibits. The ticket price is a penny, I was surprised by the fact that for "guests of the city" (I quote the words of the cashier) the ticket price is 2 times more than for local residents. Plus payment for the cost of photography (it would be something to crumple, although I would still take a couple of pictures)
The Museum of Local Lore is located in the historic building - the governor's house. The museum's exposition is constantly updated and updated. It is very important that there is such a historical monument in our city, where children and visitors of the city can get acquainted with its history
In two years, I went here for the third time. Last time, I even managed to win a book in a competition✌🏻😄 Even if you know the story, it's worth going for the atmosphere
