In principle, I understand the Norwegians... when your country, some 50 years ago or a little more, was one of the most impoverished and destitute European states, and its inhabitants fled from here all over the world like the devil from incense, not seeing any prospects for themselves... I would also build such a museum.
Because the oil that was found here in the late 60s radically changed everything, turning into the backbone of the entire Norwegian economy and, mind you... No one in the world blames them for this and calls them a gas station country!
Do you know why?
Yes, because they are their own, bourgeois, as they say... A raven won 't peck out a crow 's eye 😉
As for the museum itself, it really is there... it's very interesting👍 There are a lot of large and visual pieces of iron that you can touch with your hands, twist, climb into them inside and out, and the kids there just squeal with delight, mastering and studying all this machinery, which, who knows, may indeed outgrow for some of them later from simple entertainment into the business of a lifetime!
By the way, next to the museum there is a playground designed in the form of a technopark with all kinds of climbing, jumping ropes, jump ropes and crawlers (quite large), where you can have a lot of fun not only for kids, but also for adults who do it... with great pleasure 😜
