We had a vacation with friends (a married couple) and our daughter in Nurefjell in the off-season, when the ski season was already over - at the end of April a few years ago. We traveled by car from St. Petersburg. We lived in the far corner apartments on the ground floor in the left wing - very spacious and equipped with absolutely all kinds of appliances: kitchen, household and so on. We didn't eat at the hotel (apart from a couple of sandwiches and cakes with coffee in the lobby by the cozy fireplace) - we bought everything we needed in Noresund, a village at the foot of the mountains, about 12 km from there (fortunately, this is not difficult in our car), and cooked ourselves.
The apartments had two exits - an ordinary door to the common hotel corridor, with an ordinary hotel key - and large sliding glass doors in the living room-kitchen, opening onto a wide wooden porch - and directly into the forest. The glass doors could only be unlocked from the inside. When we left St. Petersburg, it was still quite winter there, and spring was already in full swing in Nurefjell, it was warm.
In case of cold weather, there is an excellent fireplace in the living room-kitchen, we used it periodically on cold evenings, it warms up quickly.
The kitchen is full of dishes, appliances, appliances - they used a stove, an oven, and a kettle.
The apartments have two combined bathrooms - one opens into the hallway and living room-kitchen, the other adjoins the bedroom, goes only into it. Both bathrooms have a large and spacious shower cabin, a toilet and a round sink bowl, towels and so on.
There is a washing machine in the hallway, above it there is a large electric drying cabinet, very spacious.
In addition to the bedroom with its own bathroom, there is another bedroom - in it, right next to the window, there is a large oval bathtub made of black stone.
And the third bedroom has a bunk bed made of dark wood (in the style of finishing the entire hotel complex): the lower tier is double, the upper one is single. So our whole big company, including my daughter, got a separate room.
In the kitchen-living room there is a large sofa, armchairs, a coffee table, a good large TV (channels are mostly local), a large wooden table in an ethnic style and eight chairs. Each bedroom has a spacious wardrobe with shelves and a barbell with hangers. In the large bedroom there is a desk-chair and a telephone, a large upholstered armchair and another TV, in fact, you can also go outside through the window (floor-to-ceiling glazing, a sash like a door), but we did not go.
In the small bedroom there is a small table-chest of drawers with a locker.
In general, a large and spacious two-bedroom apartment =)).
The area around the apartments is very well maintained, just behind the asphalt path, literally right next to it, the forest begins, clean, neat, slightly swampy at this time of the year. Up the mountain, a partially melted ski slope, a funicular, a snow cannon, and so on begin. Down the slope - the hotel itself continues, the large round courtyard of the hotel (on our arrival there was some kind of beer festival, the people were oooooh) and even lower - a lake as clear as a tear, on the shore of which the hotel is located, strewn along the banks with round pebbles made of transparent white quartz. Well, bridges-bridges-bridges. There are tables and benches on the lake shore, and in summer it is certainly very pleasant to picnic there. But we were just walking, enjoying nature.
The hotel has a wonderful SPA center - with a swimming pool, two separate hydro-massage glass blocks, also a glass classical sauna and an infrared sauna, a counterflow in the pool, hydro-massage areas in the same place and so on. You can order (for an additional fee.for a fee) massages-peels-and so on.
There is a fitness center.
The room has excellent sound insulation - you can't hear anyone or anything behind the wall. You can only hear the forest from the open window. A complete feeling that you live alone, in the middle of the forest.
It was good, I really want to come back to this amazing place again.
A great place to relax and unwind! The rooms are well equipped with everything you need. Beautiful furniture. The rooms offer a magnificent panorama of the mountains. The nature in the surroundings is beyond praise!
Great Norwegian dark cheese is served for breakfast. And many more kinds of cheeses and herring and meat, etc., etc.....
