A very mediocre market "in the area". It combines industrial, fruit and, in fact, for the sake of which most people flock here, its culinary part.
Russian Russian is located in the "Russian district", you may be surprised by the abundance of Thais who can keep up a conversation in Russian.
A lot of compatriots and just Russian-speaking guests. Almost everyone's music is Russian, and only foreigners who are stray have a problem with communication. They even greeted their daughter in Russian on 7/11 across the street)
The quality varies depending on the point. Here you need to know exactly who to go to for food. Of alcohol, only beer. Some tents offer wine for bottling, but believe me, it's better to walk 100 meters to the store.
We went all over the market in search of fresh fish and seafood. The picture is more or less the same everywhere: a cherished fish with dull eyes, cleaned with the removal of gills, frozen in ice.
The shrimp and squid on the ice looked fine. Everything that floated in the aquarium discouraged anyone from even approaching it. The water was muddy, so that the sluggish floating shrimps looked more like surfaced ones.
After closing the circle through the entire market, a digestible place was found that satisfied the freshness of the initial components - opposite 7/11 and brigantina, calling itself (at least on the aprons, a family Thai restaurant. a place with tables with a green covering (tablecloths) on the tables.
Order:
Sea bass (deep fried in garlic sauce)-350
Pokchoy-100
Vegetable salad 80
Shrimps 5 pcs- 150
Padtai with chicken 100
Total: 780
The result of that song: the served sea bass was frozen in ice cleaned and without gills for a reason - in the prepared version, the smell of river silt and the taste like telapia did not allow them to enjoy.
Shrimp- meat is like cotton wool, no elastic component, thoroughly frozen.
Both dishes are in the trash.
Lettuce, cabbage and padtai are good.
The conclusion is that it is better to have a snack in restaurants closer to 4th street, in the area of nizhny 7/11 there are a lot of them. The price difference is ~20%.
You can come here with a child to get some kind of toy, but if possible, it is better to eat in restaurants on neighboring streets.
There is a good market, there is a SeaFood restaurant here. Very good, we eat here for the fourth time - there is no poisoning)) everything is delicious - from iced drinks to main courses. I highly recommend trying PadTai here, you will eat a small portion.
There is also sushi for 10 baht, take those that stand at the aisle - a cannon!!!
The night market is like a market. But in the leftmost row there is a place called CROIX THAT BIRD. Super tasty, prices are low, fish and seafood are on the level. All the waiters are super friendly. Hayley recommended
A very good place if you are in Thailand for the first time, with children or do not know English well. The food is very tasty, souvenirs, clothes and toys are also sold there. I advise you to go to a cafe where the waiter is completely tattooed by a man, there is a very tasty tom yam, shrimp and rice porridge with mango
Alex seafood - you can safely go. A place for Russians. Yuri Shatunov and KISHA are very fond of putting here) we checked the previous comments, everything is OK) you can wait for Conor to check)
Russian market , why ? because the visitors are all Russian-speaking, there are a lot of cafes and shops with clothes, etc., 7-Eleven stores on both sides
Very tasty, lots of different seafood cafes and Thai dishes. Prices are pennies, I recommend.
