Finally, in my fourth visit to St Pete I made it to Peterhof 😎
It is absolutely worth both the time to travel there (we chose public transport via suburban trains which took us 30 mins and a 5-10 min bus ride to the palace itself) and the price (the entrance ticket is ~8.5$ for Russian citizens and ~17$ for foreigners, however keep in mind that most of the museums inside require additional payment to enter).
The park itself is massive so we spent literally the whole day in there. Collosal work and oustanding competence of the team managing the park cannot be underestimated - every m2 of it is looked after and everything is exceptionally neat and organized. Big shoutout to the florists behind the remarkable flower compositions all around the park. The fountains are awesome, the beach alley with picturesque views of the inlet and St Pete behind it 😍, there's also a variety of cafes and restaurants to choose from. I would point out that despite the number of visitors no area of the park is crowded and you feel comfortable throughout the whole time there which I would say is important and indicates mindful organization and management.
Overall, literally a 10/10 experience, def a must-visit! 🤜🏻🤛🏻
A good resort house with a sea view and a twin of large park. Very nice to visit during summer.I believe it might also be beautiful in winter, but i haven't done it yet.
