A magnificent resort!
We vacationed on the island with my husband from March 8 to March 18, took a deluxe villa and were not mistaken. Deluxe villas are located on the sunset side))) And going beyond the reef is closer and more convenient. The reef is alive, a huge number of all kinds of fish, turtles, reef sharks (not dangerous to humans), rays, squid!)))
And yes, manta rays come here! And nurse sharks)))
You can rent a kayak (there are transparent ones) if you don't really like snorkeling)))
The main advantage of the hotel is that each villa has its own beach with access to the ocean! And it's divine!
The hotel is quiet, peaceful, with a minimum of people. If you are a lover of a secluded vacation or just want a psychological detox, you are definitely here!

Also, there is a fairy Elena on the island))) This is our Russian-speaking guide. Lenochka will always help, prompt, and support! Our perfect assistant! And no intrusiveness! Perfect! )))
I had a birthday party during my vacation - they congratulated me wonderfully, decorated the bed soooo interestingly, especially canned the table for dinner and presented me with a huge cake!))) And, of course, they sang the local song "happy birthday." Very cool and pleasant!
Nika is one of the few hotels that has its own well with drinking water. The water is wonderful!
By the way, in the taps too - hair and skin are in perfect condition after a shower))) creams are not needed, the skin does not tighten)))
Nika is against plastic: water is served here in glass bottles, trash cans are filled with canvas bags, and the garbage boxes inside the rooms are filled with paper.
People go barefoot on the island, don't take extra shoes - just the corals and sneakers you're flying in)))
Corals are a must))) Well, don't forget the mask and snorkel! )))

An amazing place of paradise!
We've only been to the Maldives once, there's nothing to compare it with, but we're thrilled!
We lived in both the water villa and the deluxe beach villa. According to the water advantages: everything is beautifully arranged inside, the hole in the floor is a fascinating sight. The terrace (we had it at sunset) is a delight. The descent directly into the sea is very convenient. There is no sand rushing into the room. The neighbors are visible only when they are on the terrace. Everything is convenient and functional. Deluxe Beach Villa is a branch of paradise. Your house, your beach. Everything is huge. Going to brush your teeth is like a trip. An open-air shower is a dream! The hammock and swing are very comfortable. The Jacuzzi is interesting, but it was enough for us once, there is enough space for two, foam for the bath is provided.
The fish in the ocean are beautiful. Everything is available. There are enough sharks, turtles have been seen every day, small stingrays, Napoleon, clowns, moray eels, octopuses and other different ones. We've seen everyone!
The restaurant is excellent, the food is very tasty and varied. They gorged on fish and fruits. And what kind of ice cream is there! Mmmmm!
Lena is a human soul. He will explain everything, answer all questions, support any topic, without her it would not be the same at all.
Room boy Anis is a friend for all time, the nicest person.
From the advice - take fewer clothes, you only need sundresses, T-shirts, shorts and swimsuits. The main thing is masks and tubes. And something to swim in (both a top with sleeves and a hood, and a bottom at least to the knees). The sun does not forgive swimsuits there later than 9 a.m. and earlier than 5 p.m.
Keep in mind that Nick has a special time (and this is very good) - plus four to Moscow, and not plus two, as on Male.
Choose this hotel, you will not regret it. And send greetings from us to the Russian-speaking parrots.

Great resort, cool home reef. Good food, friendly staff, there is a Russian-speaking butler. An interesting museum. Special thanks to Elena for an interesting tour! A very green island. There are evening entertainment programs (not noisy). Overall, we were very pleased with the vacation we spent on Nick.
