One of the best Georgian restaurants by far. The atmosphere is simple and friendly. Most of the guests are locals - big families with kids. Yes, it might be noisy but this is a part of the Georgian spirit and hospitality. Best khinkali in town!

The guide recommended this restaurant to us. Our expectation was justified, we waited a long time for the order. The service is so-so, everyone is fussing, running, Nat of some kind. The waiter, although pleasant, did not understand Russian(there are no questions about this), there were difficulties in English too, we did not understand each other. The fingers and gestures converged.
It is expensive and long, there are a lot of restaurants in the area with the same cuisine and pleasant service

As a result, after 20 minutes, another waiter came and said that the barbecue was not being prepared, since our waiter forgot to order it. I have nothing more to add about this institution.

We were advised by the New Era restaurant at 134 Pushkin Street and, to be honest, we did not regret it. We ate khinkali with beef and herbs, beef and pork and cheese. We drank fine Georgian beer of various kinds, ate a salad and left with a sense of accomplishment. A waitress named Mariam, a very sweet and charming girl, served us at the highest level. 25 minutes have passed since the order and the start of the khinkali meal. But first they brought salads and after 10 minutes khinkali.I wish good luck to this restaurant and prosperity in business.

I do not understand the over-praise of this institution. Pompous, expensive, the food for 4 people is not the worst, but I can't single out anything either. The wine is expensive compared to other restaurants.
On the plus side, there were 9 people in the company, there were no such tables, but the waiters moved and served the table especially for us without prior reservation. And there was very good service - they brought everything at once, took it away, told about the wine, etc. We won't go a second time, there are more interesting places, although there are always visitors there.

I have tried all the iconic restaurants in Batumi.
From tourist to "for locals". I can say without exaggeration that New Era is the BEST among all in terms of an overwhelming number of indicators.
Try here mini khinkali in cream, khinkali with beef⭐ Local khachapuri is a delight, whereas everywhere in Batumi they are always too salty. The only thing that is lame here is the speed of service. But the staff is extremely hospitable and polite. It's just that the restaurant is almost always full and they don't have time. Especially at lunchtime and at dinner-it's packed) But the wait is worth it🫡
