Hello! In the summer of 2018, we were in Crete and one of the places to visit was the Samaria Gorge, as we did not take a tour, we just drove to the small village of Omalos. The Neos Omalos tavern is located right at the entrance to the village. The territory has its own parking, a restaurant with a terrace, small and very cozy rooms with stunning views. The hotel is quiet, tidy and clean. An excellent, very good-natured host, he will tell you everything and show you. The room rate (47 euros for two nights) included breakfast and pick-up at 7 a.m. before entering Samaria. We were just delighted to visit this place! I advise you to visit Crete, you will not regret it!
