I really liked the cafe. The choice was random, attracted by the open veranda. The child was ordered a pizza and was pleasantly surprised, it was very tasty. We took salads for ourselves (Greek and Abkhaz), very tasty and hearty, I didn't want anything else. We liked this cafe so much that we returned to it again. We have already tried meat dishes. The wait is no more than 20 minutes and the first and second time, although the wait was announced for 30 minutes. Special thanks to the waitress Marina, a very pleasant and attentive girl. I also liked the live music, the repertoire is great. I recommend this cafe.

We are vacationing in Gagra in July 2023, traveling with tents and staying near this cafe. We have visited it many times and we can say that it is a wonderful, cozy place. We were served by friendly, efficient, attentive waitresses Nastya and Keta, the rest of the staff are also responsive and always ready to help. It is valuable that the cafe is located on the first line, with a magnificent view of the mountains and the sea from the veranda. The dishes here are superbly delicious, exquisitely served. We especially liked the breakfasts (shakshuka, hot sandwich with ham and egg, scrambled eggs with vegetables), drinks (dairy, alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails), pizza on a delicate dough with lots of fresh flavorful fillings (hunting, salami and seafood). Mussels in cream and mussels in tomato sauce, vegetable salad, the freshest, piece by piece, are also extremely exquisite. We haven't tried a lot yet, we hope that we will still have time to appreciate other dishes of this wonderful cafe. As it is well said in a wise book: "I realized that there is nothing better for a person than to rejoice and do good in life, and that a person should eat and drink and enjoy his work. It is a gift from God (Ecclesiastes 3:12,13, the Bible).
(P.S. I would like to separately mention the charming voice of the singer Muslim, who delighted our ears for many evenings).

Having visited this institution, we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the dishes.
We finally had a delicious meal! For the first time this vacation!
We took Caesar salad with shrimps, Ark salad, mussels in white sauce and meat in Abkhazian style
Everything was very tasty!
The portions are huge, you could just eat a salad
I liked the Ark salad the most, juicy, fresh greens, a lot of seafood, delicious dressing
Beautiful sunset
Pleasant, friendly staff

We went to the Neo cafe in Gagra and got great pleasure from the dishes and staff service. We were last year, this is the earth and the sky. Compared to last year, this is progress. Apparently, the staff at Neo's cafe has changed. The food is very tasty. The cocktails are awesome. Mussels in creamy sauce are divine. And stuffed squid and eggplant, just a bomb. My friends took the rolls, they were also satisfied. The musician is mesmerizing with his voice. The dishes are beautiful, it's a pleasure to eat and drink.

We didn't like the cafe. The seating is terrible, at first we sat on the sofas, you can barely reach the table, then we moved to the chairs, it got better. I expected a beautiful view of the sea, but it is simply not visible because of the high partitions. In terms of food, it's not brilliant either. I ordered meat with walnuts, as a result, they brought me meat in a pot with cheese, and yes, there was a walnut somewhere in the middle. The wok vegetables are not made correctly, they were overexposed, there is also no balance of sweet / spicy / sour, the only noodles are more or less normal. The usual grub. The only positive thing was the waiter's service.

I do not recommend it!!! Disgusting place, get ready to wait from 30 minutes for coffee and milkshake and up to 60 minutes - hot 🤦♀️ it feels like 1 person is cooking everything in the kitchen, boarding in the evening- the staff can't cope, from the word "at all"! The sofas are uncomfortable, the tables are high, we only went in to listen to live music, this is the only plus, thanks to this artist !!!
How to cook pizza, they basically don't know about tomato paste, no one has heard of cheap smoked sausage and salted cheese 🤮 milkshake, it is made without ice cream 🤦♀️
Think before you come here, do you want to waste time, mood and money!

One of the advantages is the sea view, the guy sings pleasantly. Cons: the music is screaming a lot (you can't hear not only each other, but also the waiter (they also ask again several times)); THERE is NOWHERE to wash your hands!! They send you to a public toilet - and it's closed! Sofas are below the tables. The menu has a meager assortment. I do not recommend it (unless the owners listen to the reviews and take drastic measures)!

We wanted to spend a good evening at another place in Gagra. We tried to choose a new place for ourselves every evening and I will say that this is the only one that we did not like. The choice was made because of the terrace overlooking the sea.
A very long wait, despite landing at 20/30%. They brought potatoes, but forgot the sauce. After being reminded about the sauce, they said they would bring it now. In parallel, redoing a bunch of other things. As a result, the potatoes cooled down. And the sauce is disgusting bittersweet. It's like the cheapest ketchup. Coffee was also brought at the very end, when we had already eaten everything. No sugar. We were surprised that we need sugar for coffee with syrup))) Sugar was brought at the request. Without a spoon)) They interfered with a knife. There were no candles, not even napkins. The 320p pina Colada cocktail is just milk, water, syrup and ice. It tastes like milk and water))) No jewelry, just milk and ice.
The price and quality are not comparable. I am ready to pay such a price and even more for really delicious dishes. Here I was glad that they did not order a lot, but tried and made sure that it was not worth it.
Unfortunately, after visiting such places, they say that Abkhazia is "hello 90s/00s"

In Gagra, they lived in a boarding house and food was provided in it, but on the last day on 10/28/12, they decided to go and try the local food anyway. And what is it! ? All illusions about the hospitality and cuisine of Abkhazia (outside the boarding house) They never showed up to us. This canteen is worthy of standing somewhere in the steppe meadows for hungry travelers, but not in the center of a tourist town by the sea! The ears are full. Starting from the waiter girls and ending with the cook (or who is he? )The dishes in the kitchen. He belongs there! The food is disgusting. The lamb kebab was over-dried and burnt. By the way, 1,670 rubles were given for it (550 rubles) and also lavash, khinkali and noodles soup. The game is full.. I mean the cost of this "grocery " set. In addition, there are "cute" tearfully special features of this cafe. For example, the toilet, as others have already written, is located in another place and you need to ask the "aunt conductor" there. And when it got dark outside, we asked to turn on the lighting in the hall to look at the food on the table. But.. the waiters explained that there was no one. A little later, a clever guy appeared who climbed onto chairs and "screwed" the existing light bulbs in the basement around the perimeter of the "Stolovsky hangar". Such an amazing place! Never enter it! Never try any dishes there. Positive reviews, which are rarely found about NEO, are rather written by severely flawed villagers (judging by the words: Sympathetic, I accept krty ...)
And an open veranda overlooking the sea should not deceive you. I assure you, she is also pathetically clumsy.!

It's a terrible place. The only advantage is the sea view. The food was waited for a long time. The hostess, when asked why 30% of the food was carried for so long when boarding, began to resent that we were scandalous, although we asked politely. One star for the sea view.
We went twice. For the first time, the kitchen was a C grade. Very fatty carbonara paste, not finished. Pancakes with cottage cheese, instead of cottage cheese, some kind of incomprehensible mass. I liked the pizza and lemonade.
We came for breakfast the second time. The service was very long, the waitresses were sitting and talking, they called 2 times - zero attention, we had to come ourselves. We took a Greek breakfast and a ham and cheese sandwich. It seemed to taste more or less, only the ham was very thickly sliced. The most fun began in the late afternoon. We do not leave the toilet... we conclude that we have been poisoned. Apart from breakfast, we haven't eaten anything all day. We won't come here anymore.

I gave 2 stars only for the view from the veranda. This is the first restaurant we visited in Gagra.
I didn't like it at all, the service was at the lowest level, there weren't many people, but we waited for the waiter for 10 minutes. I asked them to bring lemonade right away... after 10 minutes, lemonade, dessert and cappuccino were brought, and they were not at all embarrassed that suluguni and carbonate were ordered. By the way, it was terrible, overcooked spicy pasta.
We were very hungry, and therefore did not become indignant and look for another restaurant, but we gave almost 2k for dinner for two.
I really hope that other restaurants will be better.
