We rested at the hotel, where rooms were booked back in the spring. Everything is comfortable. Admission to the aviaries, swimming pool and breakfast are included in the price. The food in the restaurant is poorly organized. To choose breakfast, a menu is provided, where three complexes are offered. And when ordering, it turns out that the selected option is missing. Why not inform in advance and why this is generally acceptable is a question. The breakfast did not cause delight: neither in taste nor in assortment. Next time, we will plan meals in a different place. And only the unique nature could brighten up the impression.
We went on a bus tour. We liked it. A couple of hours of nature stories with a visual demonstration. I got a good guide with a wealth of knowledge about the local nature. It was interesting to talk. I was impressed by the oak, which is more than six hundred years old. We arranged a photo shoot near him. We fed the animals on a micro-farm. We received as a present a sip of local strong moonshine with a snack (I do not remember the beautiful name of the drink). I almost didn't have to walk. After the bus tour, there is an opportunity to immediately stay to inspect the aviaries (paid separately) and go to a cafe.
In general, it turned out to be a very pleasant walk.
A wonderful place to relax, walk through the forest and observe animals. The magnificent birdsong in the forest is a special pleasure. It's great that there is an opportunity to rent bicycles and ride along long and elongated paths in the park.
Take with you drying, carrots for feeding animals.
They were in June 2024. Entrance to the territory is free, only the wildlife museum is paid (I recommend, the only thing I liked, stuffed animals, the sounds of nature give the impression of walking through a wild forest), aviaries are paid (it's a pity for animals: there is no water, many shelters do not have sun or rain), a bus tour (did not take), the museum of archiological excavations (we looked in, saw that it was not worth it and did not buy tickets), a visit to Santa Claus (we did not visit). The forest itself is an ordinary forest. Scooters and bicycles ride along the paths with pedestrians (you can take your own on the territory, you can rent it in front of the entrance). In general, if it weren't for the wildlife museum, then we would have been completely disappointed. Visiting in order to talk to friends: We were there.
I love Belovezhskaya Pushcha! This is a place where you relax both soul and body! Long bike rides through the magnificent nature are an incredible pleasure and benefit! If you're lucky, you can see animals in the wild - an incredible feeling! A huge plus in rental bicycles is that they ride as if by themselves! We go there every year! The patriarch oak, which is 600 years old, is a monument to wildlife!
We were in June 2024, took a bus tour of the park with a visit to the museum. There are no impressions from the tour at all, the guide's story is very mediocre, the speech is not very literate, constant jumps from topic to topic. It is possible that there is nothing to tell. There are few animals in the enclosures. The on-site cafe is a separate story, just a dining room with an unpleasant smell and mediocre dishes. If desired, it would be possible to make everything interesting (in the national flavor at least). Restoration is underway now, perhaps something will change. If you are on your way (you are in Brest), then you can stop by and see (for ✅).
I liked the park very much, but the whole vacation was spoiled by an event that took place in the center of the complex. Walking after dinner not far from the restaurant, we watched a picture of how a dead deer was brought by car to the very center of the complex and German tourists, apparently hunters, in front of others with smiles on their faces, began to cut the deer's mouth to get apparently a trophy tooth. It would be all right if it was outside the complex. Of course, we wanted to see wild animals, but not in this form. We hope that this is all resolved, otherwise these actions cannot be explained. The accompanying German tourists told us that everything was normal.
November 2024. Above all:
- Entrance and all paths in Belovezhskaya Pushcha are free, you can walk as much as you want
- You can come yourself, without excursions, etc. We took tickets to the Forest at the ticket office at the Brest bus station, driving 1.5 hours in one direction. You can also buy a bus ticket from the driver.
- What is paid: aviaries and a nature museum. I recommend aviaries, but not a museum.
- Everything can be paid by card
- At 10 a.m. and out of season, there are no people at all, you can enjoy the beauty alone.
- There is free wi-fi at the entrance and in the museum
The nature is amazing and we even saw local grazing deer in the distance. In autumn, everything is golden, the leaves are covered with frost, you walk and rustle the leaves under your feet. The air is clean.
Minus a star for the fact that we did not understand how we got lost on the light green path, as a result, we almost went into the forest, but we were lucky that we came out on the Royal Highway. The woman at the ticket counter at the aviaries confused us, as if we needed to buy tickets to go along the Dokudovo route, but this is not true.
In any case, it is better to buy a ticket to the aviaries there and, after looking at the animals, go to the route. The animals are quite tame, begging for food, they have wide enclosures and this does not create the impression of a zoo. Deer are jumping merrily, wolves are playing.
The museum simply exhibits stuffed animals in the scenery and sounds of the forest. After seeing both animals and the beauty of the forest in person, it's like this. I wouldn't have gone there if I'd known what was going to happen there.
The huge territory of the reserve, large aviaries, century-old trees, an open-air archaeological museum, various cycling and hiking routes.
The animals in their habitat are (almost) fed. It takes about 1.5 km to get there.taxi from Brest railway station.
We were in October 2024. as part of an excursion group by bus with an overview of the Forest and a visit to the Nature Museum. The guides' stories about flora and fauna, about the observations of specialists, about the peculiarities of the world of animals and birds are interesting. We were at the museum of folk life, and examined the aviaries with animals. We thank everyone who takes care of all this and keeps it!!!
A place of power. It's just a magical place in Brest. A must-visit. You can spend the night in the territory, visit the sauna. ride a bike. There is no way to get around on a tourist bus in one day. In a good way, 2-3 times it is necessary that you have enough strength to watch the most interesting moments. The smell of the forest is maddening, it's better to go deeper.
Belovezhskaya Pushcha National Park. Now the entrance group has changed a lot, a cafe and a shop have appeared. It is very important for me to come to the Forest to breathe clean air and drink the forest tea of the Pushchansky!!! To feed the animals in valliers and not with crackers, which they sell, the animals do not eat them. And this trip is called a reboot!!!!
To get a good impression and not get very tired, it is better to rent bicycles and ride around the territory. In fact, it is a very clean and seemingly ordinary mixed forest. Plus, you can buy crackers and acorns, and with this good you can go into the enclosures of roe deer, moose and horses. Of course, you will also see bison, they are closer to the end of the enclosures. There are wolves, a bear, a fox and several birds of prey.
Museums (except perhaps the nature Museum) will not surprise you.
A wonderful nature reserve, park and museum. But the best time to visit it is certainly in the summer, especially for children. I had been here many times before and it was always in the warm season. But since I had business in Brest, I couldn't help but visit Belovezhskaya Pushcha. Everything is interesting here. Fairy-tale characters, especially Baba Yaga, left good impressions. Of course, there are a lot of people, especially on the eve of the New Year, since the residence of the Belarusian Santa Claus is located here. I always have only positive impressions from visiting Belovezhskaya Pushcha.
An incredible place of power and a business card of the Republic of Belarus!! Mighty and wild forests are a place every Belarusian should visit, But there is one nuance that we did not immediately figure out why, this is not a pedestrian place!! Of course, you can walk to the aviary and back and the forces will already run out, because the length of the largest route is 30 kilometers!!! Therefore, when planning a trip, be sure to take an electric scooter!!! Well, or on an extreme bike, you can rent it, but the price tags here are very high. The best period of the trip is the end of September, when a beautiful golden autumn and the night roar of deer!!! Believe me, you will remember this for the rest of your life!
A wonderful nature reserve! Everything is well-maintained, there are bike paths (bicycles can also be rented), various cycling and hiking routes, very clean in the forest and neat. It's just a fairy tale! Well-groomed aviaries with animals, a beautiful and picturesque forest where Santa Claus, the Snow Maiden and all the sled heroes live. You find yourself in a fairy tale. There is a restaurant, cafe, shops on site. A cool open-air Archaeological Museum, with good-natured and hospitable staff who are happy to help you. This is a place of power. Next time I will rent a hotel there to stay longer among the mighty trees and beautiful birds and animals. It is convenient to get there, especially from Brest. Both by car and by bus.
A must-visit place. We came with our bicycles and scooters, took a ticket to the eco-trail 16 km, the air, the views, everything is super!
The only disadvantage is that all restaurants and cafes were served by tour groups, independent tourists had to leave hungry)))
The nature is certainly beautiful, however, as in the forests around, it is better to see the animals in the zoo because there are very few of them here! If you want to have a snack or a drink, most likely you will not succeed - the restaurant and cafe will be closed to serve groups of tourists, and there are simply no tents and tents! A sad place and wasted time and money! 😞
This is a place that owls cannot describe. Emotions are just going off the scale. This is a very unique place. It's just great. Fantastic nature. Clean reservoirs are very cool.
This place is only for those who do not mind riding a few kilometers on a bicycle (for rent). For walkers, only the museum and the zoo. The museum is great, but small. The zoo is large in size, but there are very few animals
They'll go to the other side or into the middle of the pen and you won't see them
Great place. The air is clean. On a bus tour we saw bison and deer in the forest. The Nature Museum is fabulous! USSR Hotel. The rooms are cold, there is an additional heater, but it does not really help. The price includes breakfast (large and hearty), a swimming pool and aviaries. The standard costs about 5000₽. At the reception you can buy the necessary little things (slippers, gels and everything you need for the pool). The restaurant serves delicious food and the price is reasonable . 4 people ate for 7500rubles, with beer and not denying themselves anything. The interior is from the 90s, but clean and tidy. In general, I liked it. I recommend.
Beautiful, large territory. We were in aviaries and in the Museum of nature. The little child was also interested. The only drawback: a large number of gadflies. We were in July.
The park itself is a must-visit, especially with children! The primeval forest, while there is an infrastructure for tourists. Hiking trails through the forest are fascinating! Cafe Skazka is a canteen-level cafe, fast, quite tasty, not pretentious, without frills, unexpectedly not very expensive. We stayed at the recreation area of Planta 1 with tents for 2 nights (reservation by phone, payment in the 4th building of the Kamenyuki hotel) - we are very satisfied! Clean, beautiful, firewood, gazebos, barbecue. Santa Claus works hard, the children, and we liked it. The sightseeing tour also pleased me. Buses on narrow paths that scare away bicycles... so this is the need to take groups on excursions. This is better than letting private cars in, and the territory is huge - you can't get there on foot (Santa Claus is 12 km from the entrance, obzor - 50 km). Excursion 3 times a day, Santa Claus - 2. So there aren't that many buses. We'll come again!
It is an unusual place for me, a native Siberian. What surprised me, but rather conquered, was the 600-year-old oak tree. A very powerful tree with traces of lightning. And, I also came across a pine tree, 150 years old. This is the first time I've seen such an age tree. There is a very strong contrast between Belovezhskaya Pushcha and our Siberian forests, our taiga. But the trip was worth it.
The cannon Reserve! Huge territory, very clean. A wonderful museum. The bison were impressed. The residence of Santa Claus is fabulous and he is friendly and smiling. You can only spend time there for 5+.
For me, a room with young children is quite difficult, unless you just go to the animal enclosures or go to Santa Claus. Some of the cafes did not work, the rest had a rather dubious menu! Otherwise, with adults and older children (if they can ride), you can rent a bike, drive around the park and enjoy nature!
Choose a nice day and be sure to visit it, the nature is beautiful, there is a place to walk, bison are real :), you can ride a chariot through the forest, see the century-old oaks, liked it, would come back again.
We went to visit friends in Brest
That's something! The park is very well maintained, the animals are also clean, well-fed and beautiful. Everything is very pleasant and European. I often review our photos and I want to go there again...
The charm is great, the air is clean, I was lucky with the weather. It was raining, but only while the bus was moving, and then the sun and the intoxicating clean air. Be sure to visit more than once, if time and finances allow.
We visited Belovezhskaya Pushcha in mid-June. After reading a lot of reviews, we decided on an early arrival, bought entrance tickets, took four bicycles and set off on a journey along the 16 km route.
It's such a pleasure, the air from some other universe, strawberries, blueberries, squirrels ran across the road twice. We drove off the route to the cafe Estate of Santa Claus, drank delicious herbal tea with pancakes and blueberry jam and returned to the route.
We spent about 7 hours in the forest. The best place in Belarus is in our piggy bank.
We liked the museum, walked along the aviaries with animals. You can stay on the territory to live and enjoy nature. There are hiking and cycling routes. There is a parking lot in front of the reserve. We were there one day, but I would like to stay longer.
We planned to spend the New Year holidays this year, but first we decided to check how things are going with accommodation. We were completely disappointed. We went to the Forest in the hope that we would fall asleep and wake up to the sounds of wild nature, as a result, these were the sounds of a nearby "dryer" that buzzed around the clock. On Friday, the groups arrived, all three restaurants closed for specials.service. And we, the guests, could not simply eat and feed the children. It is not worth staying in the Forest 17,000 per night, of the advantages only nature.
A beautiful park. There are several bike routes. We rode bicycles for a while (we rented them). There are places where you can relax and have a snack.
We looked at the animals in large enclosures. I liked the family of wolves with small cubs the most. I liked it so much that I even forgot to take a picture.
At the end of the walk, we had a great lunch at a local cafe. Chanterelle soup and pancakes with strawberry jam were on top!
Everything is great, of course, different types of forests, bison in museums, etc., etc. But, excuse me, why do cars and buses travel along pedestrian and bicycle roads? The whole impression of the reserve was spoiled by this, I can give way to cars in the city!
In any case, do not take any excursions. Come and walk by yourself! Buses run very rarely, and you will spend a lot of time on the tour and will not really see anything (except for the moonshine and the patriarch's oak). It is advisable to take something to eat with you. Since there is only one cafe on the territory where it is simply not possible to get through and one restaurant (expensive). In general, it's nice to take a walk, but without excursions!!!
A good place where you can relax on a weekend with the whole family, ride bicycles. I really liked the Animal Trail route. There are almost no people, you drive on gravel and enjoy the forest. The route is very easy. But there are other routes there too.... On narrow roads, cyclists are overtaken by tourist buses, driving into a ditch (the road is very narrow). I don't understand at all how it was possible to launch huge gasoline buses in the national park. This is a big minus. Aviaries with animals are mainly deer and bison. I wasn't really interested. It's more for small children. In general, I recommend the place. It is better to choose routes where there are no buses, so as not to smell the dust.
I liked everything very much! It is not the first time we have traveled and every time we are delighted with the place, the air and the cleanliness. But there is one thing, the aviary with a bunny is equipped so that the poor animal is rushing around, and he has nowhere to hide to rest! There are two hollow logs that can be viewed from all sides and no place to hide. I want the employees to think about it.
We were in the Forest in the summer, Cleanliness both in the forest itself and at the entrance to it.Upon arrival, you can walk through the relict forests on foot, by bike, order a carriage with a guide who takes you, and tells you about it in parallel. It will show century-old trees. You will get to know the animals in the aviaries, you can take treats for them with you if desired. You should definitely visit the museum. The expositions are very interesting. There are also hotels, a restaurant, and a cafe on the territory. There are bus tours. In winter, there is a Santa Claus house for children.Even though we were there, I want to get there again.
We visited the National Park Belovezhskaya Pushcha in March 2024.
A great place, we were with the children, took an excursion to the residence of Santa Claus.
We also visited aviaries, looked at various animals, including bison 🦬
Everything is fine, there is a swimming pool, a sauna, and an open-air museum, but the only reason why I put four stars is the aviaries. Last time there were a lot of animals, but this time there are much fewer animals in the enclosures. The enclosure in which the wild boars were generally removed, and the wild boars were placed in a cage with deer . We divided it into two parts.
They did not understand this place at all, the enclosures with animals are old, some of them are empty, the view is depressing, like in old Soviet zoos. The Zoological Museum is all mothballed, the lights were apparently turned off on purpose so that they would not see what condition everything was in. The whole sight is sad and depressing. The 6 km walking route is nice, but nothing special. If you live in Brest and just come for a walk in the woods, then maybe, although I'm sure there are more secluded and peaceful places.
Now the practical side of the trip issue. There are a lot of mosquitoes because of the damp forest, take something from them. Food, if you expect to eat on the spot, then from 13 to 16 it is impossible to do this, all establishments serve groups, even the one in the neighboring village. You won't find any snacks, it's amazing of course, so many people come, well, put up a stall with pies and ice cream, but no (((
The National Park Belovezhskaya Pushcha is the Brest region of Belarus.
🎄🌲🌳🎄🌲🌳
I didn't find any reason to come here specifically.
We were taken through the forest in a bus during the tour - they told us how big and unique they were - it was not very interesting for me to look at the forest from the bus window.
There are few animals in the enclosures and they cause pity.
I did not go to the nature museum on the territory.
There is a bicycle rental service.
Parking is large.
The toilet is paid.
There are cafes / restaurants/ hotels on site.
A large national park. It is interesting for children to go on an excursion to the Belarusian Santa Claus. There are huge aviaries with different animals: wolves, bison, deer, etc. They also sell food here: crackers, which can be fed even to bison, it's not scary. Nice large parking lot. Only at the checkout, with the absolute absence of people in the queue, could they explain better what kind of excursions there are, what they include. If it's the first time, it's unclear, but they answer rudely, as if everyone should know everything.
The National Park, as a natural object, is beautiful. On a bus tour we saw deer and bison in their natural habitat. In the aviaries, the animals come close. You can buy food for them at the checkout. The Nature Museum is a separate art form. Great!!! Restaurant 5 out of 5. The food is delicious. Simple feed. Not very expensive. The interior is really outdated. But we just came to eat. Hotel- Soviet Union))). Furniture.. yes, in general, everything is not modern at all. Swimming pool, sauna, breakfast included.
There are no questions about the complex itself . Everything is fine. But the service is at a big disadvantage . We visited Belovezhskaya Pushcha today. We had a great walk, but we decided to have lunch and there was a big ambush. All cafes and one restaurant serve only groups , employees are rude
The park is huge. Well maintained. You need to plan a whole day for it or stop there. Entrance to the territory is free of charge. Payment when the enclosures are blue in the face . You can rent bicycles and explore more of the area
We kindly ask the administration of Belovezhskaya Pushcha to reconsider the conditions of keeping enclosures with bears. Against the background of other spacious enclosures with animals, bears are in small, smelly prisons. The children burst into tears looking at the torment of the bears and left upset.
