History lovers will be curious to visit. A lot of ancient objects, such as jewelry, dishes, money, etc., more than 1 or even 2 thousand years old. A hall with the remains of prehistoric ancestors of people and their tools. In addition: a hall with minerals, fish in chloroform, stuffed animals....
Unfortunately, we could not find an art gallery, although, as it seemed to us, we went around the entire museum.
In general, a positive impression was left from visiting the museum, but a fly in the ointment does not give this place a "5" rating. Let me explain.
Wherever you are in the beautiful city of Tbilisi, you will always find either a sign or a sign in Russian. Almost any local resident (perhaps 9 out of 10) will be able to communicate in Russian. But there is not a word in Russian in the museum! Neither on the signs nor on the signatures to the exhibit.... Everything is only in Georgian and English. The exception is, perhaps, the Occupation Hall, where exhibits of a dubious page of our joint history with Georgia are presented. So, in the hall of occupation, Russian writing will be more than enough, except that it is presented on documents with an extremely negative connotation.
In general, it may be somewhat difficult for people who do not speak Georgian or English to fully understand everything.
