A lamplighter works in Brest every day. Every morning he extinguishes the lanterns and maintains them, and this is a normal process. But every night, it's a whole performance. Romantic and sweet. At the beginning of the street there is a clock on which the time is set at what time the show will start. But the performance begins right next to the monument-the order. A must-visit. This is a truly magical tradition. I've never seen anything like it anywhere. Lamplighter Victor himself is a pleasant and cheerful person, he is happy to take pictures with tourists and pose. He lights the first lantern at this very stone (keep this in mind, since many are waiting for the lighting to begin near the clock at the beginning of the street). And after the last lantern is lit, all the other lanterns in the city are lit at once.
