I liked Mogilev very much. A good local guide told me about him. We visited many attractions. We took a lot of photos. The Mogilev hotel is nice, clean, everything works, there are towels, the elevator works, the TV too. The breakfast is wonderful, there is enough for everyone. I was on a three-day excursion from the Golden Time travel agency
The monastery is amazing in its beauty. The architecture and decoration of the walls of St. Nicholas Cathedral are especially striking. The monastery was founded in 1636 by St. Peter the Grave, Metropolitan of Kiev, Galicia and All Russia. During the First World War, the headquarters of the Russian Army was located in Mogilev for several years. Nicholas II regularly visited this monastery. After the revolution, since the late 30s, there was a prison on the territory of the monastery. At dawn, there is a fantastic view of the monastery from the park
The monastery is located a little away from the main tourist routes, but it is located in a picturesque place. Its structure resembles a small castle – there is a stone fence, a large temple, monastic buildings, a high bell tower.
