I ordered the goods through the Duty-free website in Baku. Upon arrival, I thought that the package had already been assembled and I only needed to pay at the checkout. But I shouldn't have thought that...when I was there, they went and collected the package. Everything is very long and tedious. And most importantly, when paying in manats, checks are rounded to zero. There was a check for 35.15 manats and 40 were taken. As a result, they rounded up 10 manats for 3 checks. I didn't even know and that's why I didn't pay attention. It's terrible!!!!
Not very big, not very cheap ;) souvenirs, alcohol, local sweets can be bought, I see the master and cash are accepted, Russian and Chinese cards do not work.
I ordered perfumes in advance through the site, at first none of the employees could say that you just need to take the perfume from the window and go to the checkout, I thought my order was somewhere in the delivery area, then it turned out that the price on the site was cheaper than in reality. And then I went to the site and the price was also not changed, be prepared for the fact that there is one price on the site, but in reality it is higher and decently so.
I have never seen such a bawdy attitude towards tourists anywhere in the world. The staff of the duty free are rude. They refuse to hand over the change, only in manats. We changed the departure terminal to the 2nd. A dumpster, not an airport. Flies are everywhere. There is no cafe. There are no fountains. We will not come to Azerbaijan anymore. People don't come here. It's better to go to Turkey. Cheaper and European service. And the sea is real.
A huge, modern airport.Everything is clean and beautiful.Everything is for people. And places to sit and relax.I really liked the sleeping cabins-free of charge, massage chairs.Cafes and restaurants are decent.Duti Fri, though not very large, but it contains everything you need and a very good selection of products, alcohol, perfumes.I was especially pleased with the department with sweets-baklava, lukum, tea.Prices are probably not cheap, like everywhere else. There is a department with Azerbaijani goods. The staff speaks Russian well, friendly.
There are three business halls, but we were allowed only one. There is no hot food there, only snacks and sweets. But there is decent wine, one kind of beer, water, tea, coffee.
The a/port services worked smoothly, because.we made an emergency landing for technical reasons. But it took almost 2 hours to get back on the plane!!!
A good assortment! Much more choice of alcohol in comparison with popular tourist destinations. The prices are normal.
The consultants know Russian and English.
Minus: low level of alcohol knowledge of the hall employee
Super airport. Very clean, white carpets. Responsive staff. However, the assortment could be bigger and I would like more Azerbaijani products in the assortment.
A modern convenient airport, a big dutik, there is a place to sleep at night, there is an Aeroexpress train every half hour, you just need to buy their travel card, very inexpensive
The assortment is small. Prices are high. Local products are sparsely represented. The cashier is surly. There are no discounts on wholesale and for crews.
