Perhaps the best museum in the city, and don't tell me that there are only two halls. The main thing is to take a tour, it's not expensive, but keep in mind that they only accept cash (as in all other museums in Orsha). The guide is simply cosmos (I don't know the name, I only remember that a pretty girl with beautiful earrings) - she talked with great interest about the author's life and work, read poetry, answered questions, and even gave some useful information about the city. And all this is on a Belarusian MOU, I'm not a Belarusian, but it was understandable. I definitely recommend you to visit. Finally, we also bought a magnet with Korotkevich and kittens. And the main thing in this whole story is that upon returning home, I started reading "The Black Castle of Olshansky" (:

While in Orsha, it is a sin not to go to the Vladimir Korotkevich Museum. The classic of Belarusian literature, the author of "The Wild Hunt of King Stach" and other works, wrote in Belarusian, respectively, the tour was conducted for me in the author's native language. It was very interesting, without the story of the guide, Mrs. Katerina, visiting the museum would have been much less useful. The exposition (there are personal belongings of the writer) is good with the story, and it is in Belarusian. It would be nice to read the author's works on a regular move before the visit), he will feel just like at home! The guided tour cost about 15-16 Belarusian rubles. There are souvenirs, my advice to the administration is to buy a coffee machine and sell cava and croissants - the visit will become even more cozy). I recommend you to visit, especially Belarusians, and Russians will not be superfluous. Oh, yes, but one thing-they only accept cash.

A lot of things from the childhood of little Volodya, many letters to Korotkevich's friends have been preserved, a personal account where he worked - I remember all this very much.
