I don't like to write negative, but I couldn't resist. I spent 15 minutes on the entire museum - a quarter of the exposition is Stone Age, a quarter is potsherds, a quarter is something interesting, probably from the Middle Ages, but mostly in Uzbek and a quarter of the nondescript interiors of pre-revolutionary life. It seems that the history of Tashkent ended before the revolution. And 50 thousand soums for admission
The carved roof and doors are impressive, inside there are exhibits from the Stone Age to our era.
We were at the museum, the man became ill, the staff did their best to call the police and help while they were waiting, a low bow and respect
This is a wonderful place for romantic walks or meetings with friends. The only drawback is that there are not enough large trees in the center.

Be sure to take a guided tour! The guide will connect everything into a single holistic story. The exposition is small in itself and rather scattered for those who are getting acquainted with the history of the city for the first time, but it is a very interesting tour.
I returned, unable to pay with the HUMO card issued in Uzbekistan, saying that I will enter the Museum of history of Uzbekistan. Unless it works. Payme, although not thinking about payments through Click.
A small museum. The exposition is more than modest. Entrance ticket 50,000 is the most expensive ticket in Tashkent museums... There was only one of the visitors, you can see everything in 20 minutes. A museum from the deep 70s of the USSR.
The museum building is magnificent! The exterior decoration, the columns are amazing! You won't see anything out of the ordinary inside. Modern design, huge spaces and the most valuable paintings. I am not an art critic, so I was more impressed by the facade of the building and its exterior decoration.
I have not been to the museum itself, but the alley of writers will be remembered. Wonderful full-length monuments alternate with flower beds, trees, and water. It turns out to be a wonderful symbiosis, something on the principle of Chinese parks
We didn't have time to get inside. The building itself makes an impression and is worth a look, even if you do not have time during opening hours. There is a beautiful park nearby.
