An excellent museum with the soul of Old Uralsk. The best in the city, I recommend you to visit, especially if you manage to listen to stories from Alexander Petrovich Yalfimov.
A very rich and interesting exposition! The whole history of Uralsk is reflected. We listened to the stories with great curiosity during the tour!!! Thank you very much! It will be a pity if such an original museum ceases to exist!!!
I will say it bluntly - this is the best museum in Uralsk! We were lucky on the day of the visit, the guide was Alexander Yalfimov himself, a very passionate person about his hometown and history. He specified how much time we have, who from our company is a resident of Uralsk, and who is a guest of the city, and immediately got carried away with stories. It was interesting even for preschool children. As a souvenir, I brought 2 books by Alexander Yalfimov from Uralsk, with an autograph and the wishes of the author.
Since winter, we have been trying to get into the museum. They do not work on weekends and holidays. They are open until 17:00 on weekdays. How can a working person visit a museum? We decided to come sometime during working hours, before they closed, at least to gallop through Europe, took a taxi, arrived at 16:40. And what do you think? The museum is closed!
So, it seems that there is a museum, but it is somehow inaccessible to ordinary mortals)
The Old Uralsk Museum is famous for our city! You can go on a guided tour and see the ancient things of the historical era! There are gift editions telling the story of our city!
We are from Voronezh, we were visiting Uralsk. Before leaving home, we decided to go to the museum. Despite the fact that we visited the museum after business hours, we were treated carefully and showed the exposition. It is very interesting and informative, you can get acquainted with the life and everyday life of the people who inhabited these places in the past centuries. We wish the museum and its staff prosperity and success in preserving the memory of their ancestors.
Great place! I especially liked the photos of Uralsk from the 20th century and recreated models of churches demolished under Soviet rule. I was without a tour, but nevertheless, I am very glad that I visited this place
This is a unique museum, the brainchild of people who care about and cherish the history of their small homeland, the Urals. Carefully preserved exhibits vividly speak about the events, people and cultural life of our region from the 17th century to the present day
I was at the museum back in 2017, when I came home during the holidays. It turned out to be a great success to hear about the museum and learn interesting historical facts from Alexander Yalfimov himself!Original, steeped in history and the creator's love for his own.The autographed book is still kept at home with trepidation and when it was read with ecstasy😌
the museum is very good, but there is one big one, BUT it does not work on weekends, which is very sad, it is better to make Monday and Tuesday days off and Saturday and Sunday working days, since many work and it is simply not possible to get into the museum on weekends
An excellent museum in itself, but you will be lucky if the guide is the Ural Cossack Alexander Yalfimov, one of the creators of the museum, a talented writer and a very lively and witty man, a patriot of Uralsk, an expert in the history of the city and the Cossacks, which are few. The tour turned out to be very informative.
I really liked it. It's just a pity that we didn't go on the day of the excursions. But we saw a lot of interesting things. I'll go again. Only with a guide.
