Perhaps a place that everyone should visit. I am happy to visit such museums myself and started taking children, because I agree with the quote:

Attention! Before you go, check the opening hours.
Of course, the setting is not for the faint of heart, the guide is a wonderful girl, answers all questions, even stupid ones.
The museum itself is amazing, with many original exhibits. But there is absolutely no infrastructure in the form of cafes and other things. The road leaves much to be desired. I think that the Karaganda Akimat needs to pay attention to this hidden diamond, and attract attention and funding to this place as much as possible.

Yesterday, on August 4th, we visited the Dolinka village Museum of Memory of Victims of Political Repression, and were simply stunned by the amazing tour!Many thanks to the guide Yuri Gamov!During an hour and a half of the tour, we experienced so many indescribable emotions that these impressions will remain with us for the rest of our lives!I would like as many people as possible to visit this Museum and understand how and what people suffered by the will of fate who found themselves in this terrible place.

Excellent museum, very professionally decorated, good guides. The subject is scary - Karlag, but the presentation of the material is excellent, there were a lot of people. Foreigners come, there are tours in 3 languages.

It is a very atmospheric place, I recommend visiting it. The guide is a very competent and pleasant woman, she scooped up a lot of information. A ticket with a guide costs 2000 tenge, the only thing for a taxi there and back was 15 thousand, but it was worth it.

It's a masterpiece. Everything is realistic. After visiting the museum, there is anxiety in my soul, but at the same time gratitude for the world now. I participated in the museum night a couple of times. When living people were put in the place of sculptures, so to speak. It's like it's happening here and now. So scary, mesmerizing. I advise everyone who has not been to the museum yet to visit.

I really love this place , I've been there five times and I'll go again if possible . Интересный музей, экскурсия достаточно динамичная, что очень хорошо, не приходилось долго стоять на одном месте и выслушивать длинные истории. Много интересных фактов узнали. Экскурсовод тоже понравился, время пролетело незаметно.
Единственное, добираться до музея не очень удобно. Мы ехали на автобусе до поселка, не конечная остановка, там на остановке стоят таксисты и можно доехать до музея, но людей в автобусе даже в будни очень много. Назад не стали рисковать в жару ждать остобус, в Караганду добирались просто на такси.

You can get to 121 from the station, be sure to ask the driver for the exit stop, then you will need to catch a taxi. There are very nice people who will just take you, well, some can take 500-1000 tenge. The tour is conducted in 3 languages. The cost is 2000 tenge, well, there are some discounts there, you can find out at the checkout. The museum itself has 3 floors, including the basement. Each has its own vibe and a sea of impressions. Очень интересный музей, советую, есть прекрасные экскурсоводы, один минус, если нужно экскурсию по музею на английском языке то нужно заранее обговорить потелефону данную экскурсию, иначе придётся слушать тольтко на двух языках казахский и русский

Впечатляющий музей. Экскурсовод супер. Если идти, то обязательно с экскурсоводом. Часа полтора примерно экскурсия, обо всем подробно рассказывает. Ну и желательно без маленьких детей, могут испугаться при посещении камеры пыток.

Карлаг, историческое место, куда погружаешься в ту самую атмосферу, прочитав в самом начале приговоры, выданные в то время, где при этом сопровождается мелодиями из вселенской тоски. Можно сходить по быстрому, это 1 час, можно взять местного расказчика по времени будет чуть дольше 1.5-2 часа.
