I looked in when I went to inspect the vineyards of Montmartre. The museum is located in a mansion owned by actor and playwright Rosimon (Claude de la Rose), a follower of Jean-Baptiste Poquelin (Moliere).
Rosimon, after Moliere's death, played in the Moliere troupe and received the roles that Moliere had previously performed. Just like Moliere, Rosimon died on stage..
The museum has a large number of exhibits dedicated to the history of Montmartre, the life of its bohemians, the history of the Paris Commune, materials about the Moulin Rouge cabaret located at the foot of the hill. There is also a collection of famous Clignancourt porcelain, as well as paintings by Vincent Willem Van Gogh, Pierre Auguste Renoir, Henri Marie Raymond de Toulouse-Lautrec-Monfa, Maurice Utrillo. I didn't have time for a tour, I went myself, but then it turned out that, unfortunately, there were a lot of exhibits that were not very understandable without knowledge of the language. However, it was still very interesting! A guide is definitely needed here (advice).

It's a very beautiful place. The view is wonderful. Nearby is the Sacré Coeur Basilica.
