The Mirzo Ulugbek Museum in Samarkand is a unique place where the story of an outstanding scientist, astronomer and ruler of the XV century comes to life. Located near the famous Ulugbek Observatory, the museum attracts tourists with its cultural and scientific significance. 🌟
The museum has an exhibition dedicated to the life and achievements of Mirzo Ulugbek. Here you can see ancient manuscripts, astronomical instruments and models that tell about his contribution to the development of science. Ulugbek, who created one of the greatest observatories of his time, is known for the accuracy of his calculations, which influenced world astronomy. 🌌
Special attention is paid to the famous "Ziji Ulugbek" — an astronomical table compiled by scientists under the guidance of Ulugbek. This work is one of the most important works of the Middle Ages and symbolizes the intellectual heritage of the great astronomer. 📜
The museum also inspires reflections on scientific discoveries and the pursuit of knowledge that remain relevant today. By visiting this place, you will touch the Renaissance of science in Central Asia and learn more about the culture and history of Uzbekistan. 🤩
We also offer guided tours accompanied by experienced guides who will help you fully immerse yourself in the world of astronomy and the achievements of Ulugbek.🚗
Let us make your trip comfortable and memorable!
The museum is small, we were in a hurry, we did not take the tour and, apparently, in vain. There are interesting exhibits, in particular, the book of Zafar-nameh from which we know about most of Tamerlane's deeds, the star catalogues of Ulugbek. If you're not in a hurry, then come in.
The tour was conducted by a museum employee, the observatory is very small, or rather what remains of it after the destruction. But it's still interesting to listen and see the layout and the preserved remains
The museum has stands only in Uzbek and English, but the items have a translation into Russian. But the ancient astrological device in the neighboring building is interesting to see.
Great atmosphere. In summer, it is better to come after sunset. There is no shadow. But it's very interesting. It is recommended to visit. A huge sextant is impressive!
There is almost nothing to watch. There are practically no artifacts dating back to the time of Ulugbek. Only layouts.
But the complex itself is beautiful and well maintained
I advise you to take a walk

Be sure to take a local guide. The story is interesting. The remains of the observatory are a real story, not a novelty. There are interesting exhibits in the museum. Beautiful view of the city from this hill
The Ulugbek Museum has almost all the things for astronomy of that time! And there is still a Stele (but not all of it) and if you go down below, you can see a huge monument to him! An interesting fact: according to his drawings, they explore space)
A wonderful museum, small but informative! The museum is about Mirza Ulugbek, about the work done on astronomy!
I want to note that the temperature inside the museum is very comfortable. We were there in the afternoon when it was very hot outside!
I liked everything very much. It was a parasite that Ulugbek's statements were made with an accuracy of a few seconds!!! He was a brilliant scientist of his time.
There is no future without history. I recommend tourists to do "Time Travel" first. You will be in Samarkand, in Bukhara, in Khiva, in short in Uzbekistan.
Of interest is only the part itself, where the observatory is, the part where the museum is located-some kind of not alive, it seems informative, but not catchy, boring
