About the museum (short review):
👍 The best transport museum I've ever visited! THANKS to the museum staff for their work and maintaining the huge collection of vehicles, as well as the exposition inside the museum.
I was with my mother on an excursion on November 1 at 12:00, joined the students.
Features:
⚠️ The museum is open by appointment in the format of an excursion. If you take this into account and sign up at least a week in advance, then you will be allowed there without any problems.
The building where the museum is located is the agency of the Ministry of Transport. Therefore, pre-registration to the museum has been introduced (there is a pass system inside).
No shortcomings were found during the tour :) 😎
Advantages:
✅️ Transport accessibility — the metro is about a 10-minute walk away, buses and trolleybuses run next to the museum.
✅️ The staff are very polite and literate people, both in the museum itself and at the entrance of the Minsktrans agency :)
✅️ The guides tell a very interesting story, they are also very polite and literate people! Tell them that they are the best! 😉
The exposition in the hall fully reveals the history of Minsk transport.
The motorcycle and bicycle exhibition is just a FIRE! 🎇
✅️ An open-air exhibition. And what is definitely worth visiting this museum for is the opportunity to see live the transport of different eras of life (Soviet, modern), and sit in the cabin and cabin of those buses, trolleybuses and trams that you will never see on the routes.
✅️ The overall impression of the tour is 100/100 😇 no one was left indifferent!
I will be glad to hear from the museum, if possible, of course. You are the best! 🥰
An interesting museum exhibit, quite rare. It is especially good that you can see real examples of vehicles that are located in the open air. Many of the cars are open, and you can enter and sit in them both in the cabin and in the driver's cabin. For transport enthusiasts, it is a must-visit
The Minsk Museum of Transport is a unique place where you can get acquainted with the history of public transport development. The museum presents various types of rare equipment, as well as multimedia exhibits and exhibitions. Excursions are interesting for both adults and children, they allow you to plunge into the atmosphere of the past and learn a lot about the history of transport. I recommend visiting this museum to anyone who is interested in this topic.
The children were absolutely delighted. From 9 to 16 years old. Adults are also interested in plunging into the past. Great idea and implementation. A pretty girl guide is ready to share for hours everything she knows about the history of urban transport, she is very knowledgeable. You can enter almost all the exhibits. Sit in the cabin or behind the wheel and feel like a passenger from the past. We were very glad that we chose to go to the museum with the children.
A very good place, I recommend visiting, there are miniature exhibits of transport and an open-air museum. There you can press all sorts of buttons and walk around the interior of the vehicle. And it's so good to have a museum
A gorgeous museum of public transport! You can learn about the history of the transport system of the capital of Belarus, as well as touch the cars (many of them are unique) at an open exhibition. You can visit the salon, or sit behind the wheel and press on everything that is visible)
There were four of us, we signed up day in, day out without any problems at all. We liked it, both children and adults! We sat in all the trams, buses and trawlers. The girl guide is very pleasant and pretty. From the wishes, I would like to hear even more interesting facts and stories about Minsk transport, everyday stories. Thanks for the tour!
Excellent museum, interesting tour. The girl guide was charming and interesting to talk about)
My daughter really liked it, we'll come back in the summer :)
The museum is great. We visited twice a year. They came from another city just for the museum. My son is delighted. I like everything very much. The guide tells a very interesting story. It is advisable to increase the time for the tour.

We were at the Museum of Passenger Transport on 11/19/2024.
Cool impressions will stay for a long time!!! A wonderful girl conducts an excursion starting with the history of transport development, an exhibition of antique bicycles, motorcycles and cars, and ending with an open-air exhibition of many models of buses, trolleybuses, trams, as well as old passenger cars. You can go into almost every model and sit in the cockpit!!Super!!! It's just great!!! The adults are delighted, not to mention the children!!
A great museum. There is both a classical exposition in the building and in the open air. The building has cool motorcycles from the Second World War, a photo zone, rare cars, you can see models of public transport and the history of the Minsk fleet. There is a large-scale representation of urban transport in the open air: trams, trolleybuses, buses, trucks (since the 1950s). In many, you can sit and spin the steering wheel. However, I read that since recently, visits are only possible by appointment as part of an excursion.
The museum is interesting. But the tour must be booked in advance. We went there, they looked at us like fools. But since there were 6 of us, after a long consultation, we were given a tour. Very interesting. I recommend a visit.
08/17/2024 , Rebecca decided to take her to the Museum of Transport
On the Internet, the website said the opening hours and the price of the ticket
We didn't see anything about the tour or the pre-registration
So we came from far away, they gave us 3 hours and 20 minutes on the road with a child to be turned around at the entrance!!!! And they only said it by appointment!!!!
It was also impossible to sign up on the spot !!!
They called the hotline , explained the situation that there was no record on the Internet on the site
To which the operator said it was our mistake, but alas we can't help!!!!
Why should a child cry now?!!!?
Why should we give money for travel?!!? And spend about 7 hours on the road in two directions and they tell us, alas, but we can't do anything!!!? I am waiting for feedback from the management!!!
I will write with this article on other government websites
The documentary exposition inside the museum seemed very poor to me, but the mood was lifted by the video, the models of all trams, buses and trolleybuses and the wonderful, very friendly director of the museum, who competently and interestingly answered all questions that arose during the inspection of the museum. But then I got to an open area... I'm thrilled! Practically all the existing models of urban transport of the past years and modern ones have been collected! And you can climb into almost everything, sit, take pictures, including in the driver's seat! Men and children will definitely like it! And I really liked it! Thanks to the creators and the director of the museum!
A necessary and interesting museum, the only drawback is that not all equipment can be viewed from the inside. And so, personally, I remembered the transport of my childhood and my son looked, he was interested. I wish you more interesting exhibits and those who wish to visit you. For Minsk and for the whole of Belarus, this is a necessary museum.
A very interesting place. In addition to the museum in the building with wonderful guides, there is also a museum on the inner site of rare equipment and urban public transport. Children will really like to look at an old tram or trolleybus. Definitely recommend it!))
Unexpectedly interesting excursion, retro exhibits, nostalgia for students) Children (fans of cars) should like it), in addition to the story, you can also climb old trolleybus buses and take pictures
A preliminary record. The children liked it very much, they were delighted, they even lost their parents several times, as it was also interesting for us to sit behind the wheel of the transport of our childhood. I really recommend it.
A large exhibition of public transport from the Soviet era to the present day. There are also passenger and motorcycle vehicles donated by a private collector. There are a lot of bicycles, some are very old. You can sit on some motorcycles and take photos. There is an exhibition dedicated to the trolleybus and tram. You can see the tram. There is a very old map of the city of Minsk on which the places of wells are located, now you will not see this. There is an advertising post from the 1900s.
If the exposition is open, you can enter the buses and remember a bygone era. I recommend finding out about this in advance. Guided tours by prior arrangement. The staff is friendly, they are very happy for the exhibition. We all liked it. There were four of them. It is planned to open an exhibition dedicated to production. While funds are being collected. I recommend you to visit, to remember the former transport. There is a lunch time, I recommend to find out the opening hours before visiting.
We went with our son for 5 years. We both liked it very much. But you need to sign up in advance, you can use messengers because you just can't get into the territory. The guide did not bother with long stories about the history of urban transport and time passed quickly. I especially liked the open-air museum, where you can get on buses, trolleybuses and trams, even in cabins. The tour will impress the whole family!
A nice place to relax, and a lot of equipment that used to be. The equipment is very well preserved, buses and trolleybuses, etc. are clean and well maintained.
The cool museum of Belarusian transport in Minsk! They show from the oldest buses, trolleybuses and trams to the new ones! It was great to be there for 1 hour
The girl conducted the tour well enough, but I'm not a fan of theory... The city transport itself gave an impression, because I saw those buses and trams that appeared before me and, most importantly, most of them can be visited inside and in the driver's cabin itself.
The guide is a good fellow, the girl is just a darling. The ticket costs 10 rubles per person for adults and 7 for children. It's great that you can sit behind the wheel on buses, trolleybuses, trams, it's a pity that time is limited, and there is not much variety. Inside the building there are three motsykas on which you can sit and watch from the heels, steer, there are models of a tram, trolleybuses and buses, a Moscow bus, etc.
A very interesting museum, all models of urban transport are presented and not only, the child was delighted with what he saw, the most important thing is a lot of things you can touch and a lot of things you can sit in!!!!
Interesting exposition. And most importantly, there is a large platform with buses, trolleybuses and trams. You can sit in the driver's seat. I highly recommend it. We have been with my son twice already. And let's go.
The best museum of passenger transport!!!
A large number of exhibits, documents, and awards. There are several halls dedicated to different topics of transport. Wonderful aroma of transport in the halls!
There is a lot of transport on the street: buses, trolleybuses and trams! Most of the exhibits can be entered not only in the salon, but also in the cabin. What can not be done at various retroparades and in other museums.
Polite and friendly staff!
I came from St. Petersburg and was very pleased.
thank you very much!!!
There are no disadvantages unless you consider that you need to sign up in advance, but with excursions it is always the case. There is no free visit. As an adult man, I was very interested in the tour and the exhibits on many copies you can sit in the driver's seat. The kids were generally delighted.
A cool museum of urban transport. It's cool that you can sit in different buses and trolleybuses inside, squeeze different buttons. In addition, there is a small exhibition of old cars and motorcycles inside the building.
Going out with the kids is generally great. And the price is nice
A wonderful museum.
I'm impressed.
We plunged into the past (I found many models still in operation).
I wandered around the bus cabins. It's spacious, not like in modern ones, you can't turn around. And even they managed to install the engine OUTSIDE the CABIN.
Transport is degrading!!
====
Among the disadvantages: without snow, many exhibits would look a little more spectacular. The snow could have been cleaned up.
Otherwise+++++
A decent idea and execution.
Thanks
It is a very interesting and informative museum, my son really liked it.Many thanks to Santa Claus for the excursions. It's a pity that you couldn't see the equipment on the street.
We went with my son this year and last year. There are changes. If you are going there, be sure to call and sign up. Unfortunately, now they are not allowed to use public transport everywhere. They said it because they started to break the exhibits. Hurtful. But, thanks for the excellent staff. An interesting tour.
There are a lot of exhibits, the guide tells an interesting story. You can enter many exhibits

We were very impressed. A must-visit. The exhibition needs to be replenished with rare cars and motorcycles, there is plenty of space, we will come again!
It's easy to sit in the cab of a bus or climb on a motorcycle. It's a cool place. It will especially please those who are with children or love the history of the automotive industry.
A wonderful place to hike with children. There are two halls indoors and a platform with transport on the street. On the street, in 90% of the exhibits of transport, you can go in, sit behind the wheel, take a picture. The boys will definitely like it. There are also several old cars in the room (Pobeda, M1). You can't infect them, but you can take a photo. There are a dozen motorcycles, including a German Zundapp and a WWII BMW. You can sit on them. In general, we are happy with the visit, the child is delighted. I recommend you to visit!
Children have fun. The exhibits are restored very mediocre both outside and inside.
If you take it well, there is no large part of the transport that went to Minsk, very popular ones are on display.
An incomprehensible system of visiting the museum. It says the tour is by appointment only, the day was called, no one takes it. How to pre-register. We were a couple of years ago, the entrance was without a tour guide, in my opinion it was much more convenient, anyone could come and see the exhibits. And now there's a whole quest with records
It's just a supermuseum. The best of all the public transport museums I've been to. There are many buses, trolleybuses and buses that can be viewed not only from the outside and inside, but also to take pictures in the driver's seat. One disadvantage is that it was not possible to buy souvenirs as a keepsake.((
I couldn't get on the tour. We arrived, and the guards on watch said that the tour only records at a certain time. Therefore, make a phone call and sign up for a tour!
