I was just incredibly lucky: I got on a tour conducted by the head of this museum! A very pleasant, sweet woman... She told me incredibly interesting things, it feels like this is her life's work and this is her favorite thing. The impressions are the best. I am sincerely grateful and sincerely wish prosperity to the museum, good health and strength for further development, to all its employees!
Interesting exhibits, beautiful expositions. Reliable information about the Belarusian history and the city of Mogilev is presented.
The staff spoils the experience
(1. the tour was refused, although exactly 10 minutes later a couple followed us and for some reason they were given a guide. I was not given to understand why this was so?
Maybe a budget institution doesn't need tourists' money? Or did the cashier not like us?
2. very intrusive surveillance and constant verbal remarks by the caretakers of all visitors, despite the fact that none of us touched the exhibits and behaved appropriately. It is annoying and carries negativity.)
BE PATIENT!
The museum impressed with its collection of traditional clothes and household items. I learned a lot about culture and customs. I recommend it for a family visit!
We were a family, we really enjoyed it, the tour was conducted by the head of the museum, we learned a lot about Mogilev and the history of our country.
The museum is beautifully decorated, but the attitude of the grandmothers who walk around breathing in the back of your head, giggling at you for no clear reason, taking the wrong step to the right or left, demanding to move away with a phrase, spoils the whole impression. All I want to do after all this is to leave as soon as possible and not come there anymore.
The museum is interesting, if you are fans of Belarusian culture, then it is worth a visit. Braindead security personnel, beware. One visitor per year. The workers did not leave for a second.
I liked it on the second floor. The history of Mogilev in documents, objects and photographs. Put together competently, you immerse yourself in the atmosphere of those times.
Every citizen of Mogilev needs to visit here. The ancient museum building has its own rich
history. An interesting exposition. Various creative evenings are held.
The museum is not bad, the exposition was viewed with interest. But it is very encouraging that all information and descriptions are only in Belarusian. It seems that the museum administration is not particularly interested in tourists
A wonderful museum. The staff is very attentive and courteous. The children and I had an unplanned tour, Everything was very interesting and accessible.I would like to express my gratitude to the entire staff of the museum.
Museum. For memories. Everything is fine. 2 floors. But the exposures don't change. The new generation will like to go out a couple of times. I was there 10 times for work and took my daughter. There are a lot of impressions for the first time. Tourists will like it.
Be sure to visit, the museum shows the life of the Belarusian village, as well as the provincial one. It will be interesting for both adults and school-age children.
An interesting museum for tourists. For those who visit it for the first time, it probably won't be interesting anymore. Suitable for children. You can buy handmade souvenirs. Friendly staff.
A very interesting and rich exposition. A very detailed representation of people's lives throughout the history of the city.
The ethnographic section with reconstructions of the house is very remarkable. The section dedicated to the 19th century also left a good impression.
A very interesting exposition! Professionals in their field, it is interesting to talk about the exhibits.

An excellent museum of the history of the Belarusian people in general and Mogilev region in particular, an extensive exposition, polite, knowledgeable staff who tell you in great detail about what will interest you
An interesting enough place to go with your family to learn about the ethnic group. It is advisable to walk on working days when there are fewer people.
An excellent museum, a rich and beautiful exposition, friendly staff, real specialists. Very detailed installations.
There was also an interesting exhibition of dresses reconstructed according to the schemes of the 17th and 19th centuries.
An excellent Mogilev museum dedicated to Belarusian traditions and customs. You can watch and learn a lot of interesting things. Clean, cozy, friendly. It becomes sad that our traditions and language are leaving us, Belarusians.
An interesting museum. Friendly staff. You can buy magnets and souvenirs (I didn't buy them myself). There is a wardrobe and a toilet. Everything is relatively clean and tidy. In one room, only a female viewer (I don't know how to call them correctly) sat coughing and sneezing in different directions, watching the series with sound on a tablet (or phone).
We went to the dinosaur exhibition, the so-called, it's just a wild horror and shame, don't go there, don't be fooled by pictures and advertising, it's all a hoax!
