A gorgeous palace, with a luxurious garden around. The interiors that remember Ataturk have been preserved. Very beautiful interior decoration, ceramics, murals. The ticket also includes a visit to the harem. Photos are not allowed in the palace itself. At the entrance to the museums, even before checking tickets, you can take an audio guide for free, leaving a document or money (1000 liras) as a deposit. A guide is very necessary, there are few signs and descriptions, without it little is clear. There is a cafe in the garden, we were not very impressed with the choice of dishes, we did not eat anything.
An incredibly beautiful place! We visited the palace with an excursion - it is very beautiful, there are many rooms, you will get tired of walking. I definitely recommend you to visit. Outside there is a large garden and a very beautiful area. Everything is well maintained, there are several cafes where you can drink coffee and have a good meal. My favorite place in Istanbul.
A very beautiful and picturesque place, there is a small cafe where you can sit down and order drinks to watch the peacocks, you can just sit quietly and calmly on a bench and relax, the entrance is paid on 09/24/2024 50TL was given for two, but even despite the paid entrance, I advise you to visit!
Wonderful, amazing! Amazing!!! I recommend it to everyone!!! After visiting the main halls in the same complex, you can visit the art gallery with a charming and exquisite cafe and harem with one ticket!! Great audio guides everywhere!!! I really liked it!!It is convenient to get to the Cabotage by tram and on foot 300m
The Dolmabahci Museum was the residence of the Turkish padishahs. Therefore, it is richly decorated, has many functional rooms, starting from the padishah's bedroom and ending with the harem. The museum is open from 9 am and, as a rule, there is a queue for entrance tickets until 10
a small one. The next step is to get a free audio guide. To do this, you need to leave your passport secured. This is an important point to consider before going to the museum. I will immediately note that there is nothing to do there without an audio guide, because all the details of the interior are connected either with history or with traditions. And just to "take a look" is to watch a silent movie without credits. A few years ago, the museum was visited by tourists with a guide in groups. Now routes have been laid, limited by fences, inside which 1-2 people can pass one after another. You won't be able to turn off the route, and you won't be able to stay for a long time either. It is strictly forbidden to take photos - security guards are watching this. The entire route takes about 1.5 hours to complete. You also need to be prepared for this - there is nowhere to sit down, you must take water. The palace has a very beautiful territory with access to the bay. There is a nice cafe on the territory, there are toilets. If you have watched the TV series "The Magnificent Century", then you will learn many of the interiors of the palace by walking through the halls - after all, many episodes were filmed here. Dolmabahci, in my opinion, is the No. 1 object when visiting Istanbul to understand the lifestyle and traditions of the Turkish rulers.
I recommend you to visit. For 650 lire (by the way, the cost is just to climb the Galata Tower), access to the palace, the sultan's palace, the harem, the art gallery is available. An audio guide is issued free of charge in different languages, there is also Russian (on bail, we left Russian rights). You can't take pictures inside the palace, but many have violated this rule. Wonderful historical heritage
If we compare it with the Hermitage, then the sultans lived simpler than the emperors! I liked the Turkish bath in which they washed, everything is thought out and cozy!
The facade and appearance are certainly impressive, and the view of the Bosphorus is simply magnificent!
A very cool place, a beautiful museum! We stayed for about 2 hours and didn't regret a bit. The organization of the museum allows you to view everything without a guide, without getting confused. Signs with a description and explanation of the cuar code.
The best place in Istanbul! Considering that I didn't like the city itself, this place is very beautiful, clean and interesting. The tableware exhibition is gorgeous!
Очень красивая архитектура!!! Богато!!! Красиво!!! Новый дворец Султана. Выход к морю. Можно посетить горем и залы Султана. Рядом картинная галерея. Больше 30 картин Айвазовского находится в ней.
A very chic, beautiful palace. Topkapi and Dolmabahce heaven and earth. It is necessary to visit. Do not forget to enter the harem, the entrance is separate from the entrance to the palace.
My impressions were positive. After buying tickets, they handed over their passports and received an audio guide in return. Very convenient. The detailed story made me listen to the end. The interior was a bit like Peterhof, but with its own oriental flavor. Of the cons, this is a ticket. It is linked to the euro exchange rate.
I highly recommend visiting, especially if, in order to save money, it is worth choosing which of the castles to watch, it is much more interesting than the other options, plus a beautiful area where it is pleasant to walk
I was not particularly impressed with the palaces in St. Petersburg , and you can take pictures , but you can't immediately go there , the guards are yelling like crazy…

A stunningly beautiful palace. Be sure to figure out the audio guide, otherwise it won't be so interesting to walk. Lots of rooms. The interesting history of the palace is intertwined with the history of Turkey. Beautiful Bosphorus embankment
Excellent museum, palace, very beautiful rooms, huge chandeliers, sofas, hammam. Be sure to take an audio guide, then it will be clear that where you pass through numerous corridors.
I highly recommend it! At the entrance, they offered an excursion for 50 S, they did not take it, use the free audio guide, issued on the left after the entrance, in return you leave a document. If the audio guide does not turn on in the hall, attach it to the counter with the hall number or click the hall number on it.
It's such a beautiful sight! The Louvre did not stand next to it, such splendor, beauty, and strangeness. Everything is in perfect condition, so beautiful
A palace built according to European standards, a good art gallery with excellent paintings by Aivazovsky. Unfortunately, it is forbidden to shoot in the palace and this is strictly monitored. For violation they threatened to expel and did not joke...

An interesting place. There is an audio guide in Russian. It can be obtained after the ticket office directly at the entrance. As a pledge, you need to give either a passport or 100 bucks. You will receive a receipt and a coupon, and after the visit you will receive your own money back.
