A great place to get to know the history and culture of the local Arabs. The interactivity of the exhibits is minimal, but it is still quite informative, especially if you read the signs in English or Arabic. Our knowledge of English was mediocre, but everything was clear anyway. The next day, our children asked us to come for a walk in this museum again :)
Hello, everyone. We had a vacation in July in the UAE, in Ajman, and decided to visit the museum. The museum is not expensive, they gave 15 dirhams for 4 people. We really liked it, everything is spacious, there is no sense. There are many halls and expositions, probably in the entire history of the UAE. There are air conditioners in the halls, you don't die from the heat. Definitely worth a visit. The only thing is that the description is all in Arabic and English. In Russian, it would still be 5+
A great place for an evening leisurely stroll. The exposition is small, but it allows you to get acquainted with the history of the emirate. Interesting design of both the museum territory itself and the exhibits.
It's cool, just to see and visit. We were alone on a hectare of land. Interactive in places, positive and not boring museum, in two languages- the translation will be understandable if there is an elementary level in English. the entrance to our money is no more than 150 rubles, and emotions are 150 thousand hectares. And also visit the fish market in Ajman, buy lobster and crabs for 1.5 thousand + cooking 900 rubles (grill or fry-your preference) and you will never forget this day!!!
A great place to get acquainted with the history of the Emirates and Ajman as well. Very interesting locations, with interactive elements. You can get acquainted and read it. I definitely liked it, I recommend it!
It is considered the best museum in the UAE. It is dedicated to the life of Arabs in the past, even deep before the oil era. It is located in an interesting building, similar to an ancient fortress. The museum presents expositions of the way of life of people: teaching children at school, medical practices, costumes and jewelry, weapons, tools, musical instruments, there is a hall dedicated to radio, horses and camels, there is an exposition of the ancient market, a beautiful hall dedicated to pearl fishing- the main income of the ancient Ajmans. The museum is divided into halls, each of which is located in a separate room of the fortress. There are comments in Arabic and English.
We really enjoyed our vacation in the UAE. Although we don't like to repeat ourselves, we are here again. This time it's Ajman. The smallest, but so cozy, kind, warm....What did we know about him?! Nothing. And now we know a lot. The pearl of Ajman, an interactive museum, helped us in this. Everything about this emirate is collected here. Where it is located, what its inhabitants did, how they lived, who they fought with, what they achieved, etc. The museum is located on the site of the old fortress, it was recreated and filled with the breath of history. Each room is an interactive excursion into the past. There is a market and a school, a hospital and the emir's palace, modest Arab housing, handicrafts and religion and Arab horses. Human figures, as if alive.
A virtual tour guide follows us along the wall. You can walk there for hours, looking at objects hung and laid out - weapons, household items, clothing, handicrafts, etc., moving from one building to another and just wandering around the yard. It was an unforgettable journey, we were so delighted that we then told everyone about this museum, showing hundreds of photos taken during our visit.
An interesting museum. The history of this city is clearly presented. Expositions are functioning offline. It is worth going to assess the level of development in the field of museums.
A very colorful place right in the heart of the Emirate of Ajman, this museum shows everyday life, living quarters, archeology, manuscripts, folk costumes and even a Land Rover car of the 60s. 10/10
A good museum to pass the time!
The museum is divided into many small rooms, and in order to get into them you need to pass through the street!
In summer, it's very hot outside, but it's cold inside!
There is information only in English and Arabic!!!
An excellent museum of local lore on the history of Ajman. There are many expositions telling about the life of the indigenous peoples of the Arabian Desert. It is located within walking distance from the hotel. The ticket price is very cheap.
An excellent interactive museum, we went with a child of 3 years old, it went 100%, we were there alone, you can touch everything, look, no one is in a hurry, the entrance costs 5 dirhams per person, the child was free
A very decent museum. It's small, but the design is high-quality. It is very pleasant to wander on a cloudy day. I especially liked the market "corner", and the rest of the halls are very good
We visited the museum on our own. I really liked it, we didn't even expect it to be so interesting. A ticket to the museum is not expensive, you go everywhere on your own, there are no caretakers anywhere. The only disadvantage is that it is cold in the rooms. Probably in the summer, when it's very hot outside, this is a plus, we were in December in the evening, it was + 23 outside. Even without knowing English, you can read all the descriptions through Google translator. All over the territory of the Wi-Fi.
The museum is in the process of creating interiors, but already provides information about what happened 70 years ago in Ajman. Russian Russian is not understood by the staff at all, there are no signs in Russian, the price for admission is 5 dinars
You can take a walk. It is not a very large, but an interesting exposition. I was with my 6-year-old son, due to interactive screens, and he was interested. The museum is small, we looked at everything slowly for an hour and a half.
An excellent exposition, a lot of archaeological artifacts, weapons, household items and installations on the theme of the life of the Arabs in antiquity. There are no queues, the price is 5 dirhams, there are air conditioners inside (October 23). It's definitely worth going!
Just a great place! It is a very interesting museum, it introduces you to the life and history of Ajman. Every room is very interesting. An atmospheric place.
Fort of the 18th or 19th century, restored. It used to be the residence of the sheikhs of Ajman. The exposition is modest, devoted mainly to the everyday life of local residents. You can visit once in order to broaden your horizons.
The Ajman National Museum is located in the fort, which remained the ruler's residence until 1970. The life and atmosphere of the past years of the city have been reconstructed. Various exhibits are presented. Description in English and Arabic, the cost of the visit is 5 dirhams.
An interesting place that reveals the history of the Emirate of Ajman. A visit in April 2024 cost 10 dirhams for two. If you are nearby, I recommend you to visit.
A great museum for exploring the local culture and history!
Very good atmosphere. There are interactive elements. In many halls, smells are even reproduced (market, spice shop, tent, etc.)
Cool museum!!! It is very interesting how the Bedouins and nomads lived, how they studied, how they were treated, everything is clearly shown. It's a pity there was no story in Russian yet! And so everything is clearly clear! I highly recommend it!
A quiet museum in the city center. Entrance is paid, but pennies. You walk through the cells, where there are videos and installations, pictures and photos. There is no guide. There are no people either).
Ajman is quite an interesting place. At least better than we expected. Admission is 5 dirhams. The rooms are very cold. For children, a cape is mandatory when you come in from the heat
We were on our own in this museum. Very textured knowledge, cool photos are obtained against its background. By the way, the tower is depicted on the banknotes of 2021.issue 5 drx. A very interesting museum about history.. but the information is in English or the local language.
I really liked the museum! An interesting format - you go everywhere yourself, you open and close the doors yourself, no caretakers, no one interferes! There's a cashier and a security guard at the entrance and no one else. Cool! I highly recommend it.
Do you want to see how beggars (Ajman Arabs) live in hell? ... Yes, they themselves are not interested... The museum is empty... You won't even find Ahraniks...
