On a small island three kilometers from Manhattan, in 1886, a colossal almost hundred-meter (93 m) Statue of Liberty was erected (a gift from the French people in honor of the independence of the United States).
There is a tour in Russian, the Statue of Liberty is included in the program. There is not much to see in the museum itself, only an old torch with candles, otherwise the history of the building, which is so told on the tour. To go upstairs to the observation deck, you need to apply in advance (apparently they check for a tendency to terrorism), so there are few people there: about 100 people a day.
