The Solomon Guggenheim Museum in New York is a unique place that is definitely worth visiting for all art lovers. The museum is located on Fifth Avenue and has an unusual design – the building is built in the shape of an inverted pyramid. Inside the museum there is a permanent exhibition and temporary exhibitions that change several times a year. The architecture of the building is particularly impressive – it is designed in such a way that visitors can admire the works of art while moving smoothly along the spiral ramp. This creates a feeling of infinity and allows you to examine every detail of the exhibits. The museum features works by such famous artists as Kandinsky, Malevich, Picasso and many others. The exposition is constantly being updated, so every visit to the museum becomes a new discovery. In addition, the museum has a gift shop where you can buy unusual and original souvenirs.A visit to the Solomon Guggenheim Museum leaves an unforgettable impression and allows you to immerse yourself in the world of art.
The Guggenheim is interesting in terms of content and is unusually architecturally designed: in the form of a curled shell of a tower and a rotunda, along the spirals-levels of which you smoothly rise, looking at the paintings. The main exposition made a strong impression. I saw the masterpieces of such masters of the late nineteenth and early twentieth century as Vasily Kandinsky (his works formed the basis of the Solomon Guggenheim collection), Picasso, Mondrian, Renoir, Degas, Pissaro, Edouard Manet, Marc Chagall, Leger, Van Gogh, Paul Gauguin... A regular ticket for an adult in 2017 cost $25, but on Saturdays from 17:45 to closing at 19:45 (they let you in until 19:15) you can get to the museum for free. However, for this you need to be patient, have enough time and come to 1071 Fifth Avenue – at the end of the "museum mile" – much in advance. I got to the museum 50 minutes before closing, they were enough to climb to the upper level 6 and go down to the 1st, while getting a tremendous aesthetic pleasure. At the first opportunity, I recommend that you definitely get into this wonderful museum
