The museum is interesting in its own way. There are a lot of things, just like at any flea market. You will definitely find things from your past in this picturesque chaos. Such places make you think about devouring time, which in itself is useful. The colorful owner of the museum will conduct a tour himself and tell you about the most interesting things. Of course, there are probably no such museums anymore, but at a good flea market, old things are in their natural habitat. And they are clearly cramped in the museum.
You need to go to the Janusz Parulis Museum first of all for communication and emotions. There are few such cranks in the world, and I sincerely believe that they need to be supported. The eyes and brain love variety. And if you are used to wandering around museums where everything is behind glass, you can't touch it with your hands, there are guards sitting, then maybe you are just a boring person ;) I can't imagine at all how his wealth can be placed and organized somewhere. Then it will no longer be the original museum of the history of Grodno. Janusz tells a lot of stories, you can chat, ask questions. Treats children well) in general, come. If you are a bright and creative person, you will find something to admire.
A wonderful private museum! The most interesting person owns it, the narrator is from God. He breathes warmth and fatherly wisdom from him. I advise everyone to visit! You will be satisfied
I was expecting to see a museum. And this is at most a private collection. Everything is scattered and objects are piled on top of each other. It's very difficult to see anything. The passages are narrow in the house because of the mountains of scattered belongings.
15 rubles for a ticket is a lot. For the items that the owner sells, he asks for a lot of money.
I don't want to work, but I want money.
He talks about the fact that there is not enough money to pay the rent of the house. Which doesn't sound very good for a serious person and a museum. That's who and what the owner of this museum considers himself to be.
The place is a must-visit:
1. Because of the owner of the museum, who keeps amazing stories about Grodno and Belarus in general. He can be tormented with questions - which he will be happy to answer.
2. For those who like to find something unusual at a flea market
3. For those who like to plunge into the unusual atmosphere of antiquity.
The impressions of the place are amazing - the owner is a living legend!
An interesting and colorful character is the owner of this flea market museum.
With clear blue eyes, a sense of humor and a trimmed beard. The museum has the fruits of 74 years of collecting various things. A kind of flea market/flea market/junk yard.
Oh, his exhibits would be placed on a large territory - there would be no price for such a "museum of the past" ... but none of the authorities are interested in this, unfortunately....
I recommend going, watching, listening to the old dude's stories.. for hipsters and free people!
If there was an opportunity, they would have put a minus one star. Don't waste your time on empty chatter and mountains of garbage. Janusz just loves money very much, because for 15 rubles. you are ‘raped’ from a person by the musty, stagnant smell of junk and scraps of incoherent nonsense. Stink and dirt. The suspicious-looking individuals present in the narrow aisles are probably the main suppliers of ‘exhibits’ for the so-called museum. The fairy tale that Janusz cannot find a place for a museum is not justified: 7 people (on average per day) for 15 rubles. multiply even by 25 days = 2626 rubles. Finding a place to rent in Grodno and paying for it is not a problem. During the arrangement and sorting, the flow of visitors will increase many times more, and therefore it is not expensive to pay rent. Despite the fact that Janusz has both a son and a daughter, entrepreneurs, respectively, everything can be easily organized. It's just that Janusz doesn't need it, he's too lazy to do anything, he's comfortable climbing through the cracks between the junk in 5-10 minutes, getting money and covering it all with originality. There are really interesting things that I would like to consider in a human way, and not stoop to the state of a homeless person. A tip for marketers: you can leave a branded item for your company, perhaps potential customers will see it, an example of Myloverberry (their box has already become an exhibit of the ‘museum’).
The owner tells an interesting story, there is charisma and knowledge! The collection is good, but as a museum employee, it's just sad to see how everything is piled up. The courtyard is cute, like in a fairy tale about Pippi. The museum will really leave an impression and it is unique)
If you come to Grodno for a couple of days and you have limited time, then you should not waste it on this museum. In fact, it's just a dump that many old people have in their dachas. There are some interesting items, but they are mixed up with all sorts of new plastic garbage and made so that they cannot be seen. The "guide" himself is a grandfather, the son of collaborators, whose parents worked for the Germans in Grodno during the war. His tour costs 10 rubles per person, while he did not tell anything interesting. There were some boring senile life stories that any grandfather will tell you for free, and a few facts about Grodno churches and synagogues that are easily found on the Internet. At the same time, reading about it on the Internet is really better than listening to the stories of this old man, because the thread of the narrative is constantly being lost, the "guide" constantly jumps from topic to topic, forgetting what he just said. In general, there is only one name from the museum here, if you really want to walk through normal museums in Grodno, then do not be deceived by this location.
A very authentic place in the city, the colorful curator is the director of the museum, old man Janusz. He conducts tours of the museum himself, showing and talking about the exhibits. His excursions are very different from classical excursions, but that only makes them more interesting. It is clear that the person is inspired and enthusiastic . There are many exhibits that are familiar to us from our everyday past life, and it seems that yesterday you saw this "grandmother's carpet with deer" on your grandmother's wall... but grandma has been gone for a long time, and her carpet is gathering dust in the attic of an old house. You walk around the museum and memory clings to anchors from childhood, and a wave takes you into the past, and somewhere in the background the song "I'll get off at a distant station" pops up in your head.
In short , before I burst into tears , I recommend you to visit the museum !
The guy is funny, he told a lot about Grodno and about himself. There are a lot of old things both in the yard and in the house. The price of a visit is 10 re per person, cash payment, this must be taken into account
We stopped at this museum on the way to the Kaluzhskaya Church. The price is not listed anywhere. A very talkative grandfather began to talk about everything. Everything is in piles on the street, as I opened the garage, there is nowhere to set foot from the junk. This is not a museum! It's a dump! We decided to leave, so my grandfather called us "scoundrels", demanded money for renting his house for a museum. We do not recommend visiting, you will only waste time and money in vain. There is also a great risk of bringing "new insect friends" home.
One conversation with Janusz is already worth a lot. We can already say that we visited this museum for a reason! Of course, the territory is not large, but there are many exhibits. Therefore, it will be very difficult to see everything. But if you have a lot of free time, you can help Janusz clean up. And also some things can be exchanged for money)))))))
The "Museum of Everyday Life" is just a name. In fact, we see a whole house full of all sorts of junk. The owner of the "museum" tells all sorts of random stories, and it is not always possible to verify their authenticity.
10-15 rubles for visiting this house with junk is expensive.
For this reason, I do not recommend spending a day at this place.
An excellent tour of the museum by the mouth of the owner himself - Janusz Parulis. It is very interesting and informative! I definitely recommend you to visit!
It's original and interesting. The owner is an enthusiast, rooting for his business. We remembered our youth and showed the youth how we lived, how we lived before us.
The price of the museum apparently differs depending on whether the owner of the museum liked you and where you came from, apparently we did not like it, so the price was 15 rubles, which is very expensive. The museum itself is just a collection of different junk
An interesting and unusual museum. It's more like a warehouse of old and not so much things, household items, toys, appliances. The grandfather - owner talks about his youth and life)) The ticket was paid for by going to the store with him, groceries and a little stronger)))
In my subjective opinion, this "museum" can only be called a garbage heap. For which the owner wants 15 rubles from the nose. If you managed to visit there, do not forget to be disinfected from bedbugs and fleas, you will have them 100%.
A unique place. This is not a museum, this is a secret place where the timekeeper lives. A former dude (actually still is), Grandpa Janusz will tell amazing kind stories. We were left with pleasant impressions! Be sure to go
The place is interesting, they tell a lot of things, guides and guides will not say so much) some things are not even in museums) you need to go there with enough time. The owner of the museum is a very pleasant person, likes to engage in dialogue with visitors)
If only it really were a museum. This is a private house with a bunch of old things from the Soviet era and later, and the cost is healthy - 15 rubles. per person. Everything is piled on top of each other. The old man, the owner, is quite a colorful person). He should sort it all out and, indeed, make it a museum - it would be cool!
This is something indescribable. A charismatic enthusiast, the founder and absolutely unsystematic collection of artifacts from different eras, Especially liked copies can be purchased.
Haphazard storage of exhibits spoils the whole impression. It feels like a dump. It's unrealistic to look closer at interesting objects, you can't get through, everything is in the dust. It's a pity, there are a lot of decent things from different times. The owner is a good storyteller, good health to the old man!
This is not a museum. This is a great example of monetization of the Plyushkin syndrome. Sorry for the money spent.

We arrived at work time, the entrance was closed. There is a sign at the entrance with the phone number you need to call to open it. We were on the phone for 30 minutes, and no one answered us. Next to it is a sign with a work schedule, according to which it was clear that the museum was supposed to work, but for some reason it did not work. It left a very unpleasant impression.
It's not worth it, don't go! It's just a junk shop, there's nothing worth it. The owner is a half-mad grandfather, he does not announce the price, but at the end he says - 15 rubles from each! Drive by, it's just a dump and a divorce!
The indescribable delight of the exhibits, and most importantly, the guide

A private museum, if I may say so. A colorful host, knows a lot, if he would tell you even more and in more detail, it would be super... it doesn't even hurt to systematize the collection, yes, it is large and diverse, but paying 10 rubles to visit several rooms littered from floor to ceiling with various things, mostly Soviet, sometimes almost haphazardly and with a gallop tour of Europe (although interesting, but literally a few phrases per room) - not... In this form, it is not worth it...
For those who visit museums with the same names in other cities - do not be fooled by the name, there is a demonstration of a private collection of things from the USSR era (from the history of Grodno there are quite a lot of interesting things produced by the Neman factory)
P.S. plus an asterisk for recommending cheburechnaya nearby - it's really delicious, thanks =)
An interesting place , if in the shower You're a hoarder. If you are a museum aesthete, this place is not for you. Here you will not find exhibits neatly placed in their places, no. Chaos reigns here! Everything is stacked one on one, but you can touch it with your hands. Overall, the impression is positive. And the owner of the museum is an interesting and enthusiastic person, but one person cannot move a mountain. And if you really make a museum out of this place, with an orderly exposition, you will have to make a huge effort!
There are a lot of interesting things that, unfortunately, are probably already there and will die. Because time is taking its toll....
The price does not justify the impression. For a 15-minute tour through the narrow streets between the heaped antique and not so much things to pay 10p, well, that. The male owner is interesting, with a lot of life experience. But if all his riches were in a more exhibition form and the tour took more time, it would be better.
The owner of the museum is a very colorful character. However, despite the presence of really interesting things (old banknotes, a couple of signs, several paintings, glass utensils), the museum itself is a pile of consumer goods (spinners, children's cars, some garbage). The level of the tour depends on the mood of the host and how interesting you are to him.
there is no way to get to the museum at three o'clock on Saturday afternoon, since the answer is "we are not working today" by the number indicated at the entrance, although the work schedule is from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. It's just amazing!
An ambiguous place, I kind of liked it, but I kind of didn't like it at all. There are a lot of exhibits, but they are in piles, which is more like a landfill. The visit cost us 10 rubles per person!
