I visited this museum almost immediately after its opening. There were no guides as such back then. It's hard on my soul. After all, he was in the city at that time, and many acquaintances are reported in the exhibits. Young people and visitors need to visit at least once to know and remember what the Chisinau authorities wanted to impose on us and what order they carried. It is a pity that it is impossible (and maybe it is possible to do this electronically) to read the bulletins of that time that were issued every day by the city's working committee in order to trace the dynamics of those events.
It's good that, first of all, this museum exists. Secondly, it is good that it is in the city center in a beautiful building. Thirdly, this building itself, while not yet being a museum of the Bendery tragedy, was a place where historical events important for the formation of the statehood of the PMR took place.
The guide told all the secrets and the beginning of the life of Transnistria. This story, the Transnistrian people are a single nation (which includes many nationalities) that rebuffed the Moldovan and Romanian occupiers. The Bendery people defended their freedom and independence in the 1992 war. I advise everyone to visit.
It's hard to remember, it hurts, they hid in basements from bombing.she and her son left the destroyed house under bullets, but they did not leave the city, there was not even such a thought, glory to the fallen defenders and eternal memory
