It is worth its 4 stars.
Nice hotel.
The area is Gorgeous, everything was within walking distance in October 2024.
The staff is pleasant and polite.
The department is clean and quiet.
The breakfasts are regular, as in 4 🌟. Transfer 5000₽ or 2100 liras one way.
I recommend visiting : Corner Irish Pub. The receipt for cocktails and snacks is about 4,000 lire or more.
Go to Galata port (if you get to the weekend, you will have time to either meet or escort the liner).
I recommend visiting the POPULIST Restaurant in the port. The receipt is about 4000rubles or more.
Visited Dolmabahce 100% worth a look and Topkapi Barn -100% worth it.
We traveled by taxi (not convenient)
and by tram (very convenient)!
I liked everything, as always in Istanbul. Well, apart from food, they have nothing to eat.
In 2024 Istanbul went gold ( prices of lira to ruble 👉🪐🪐🪐
Cozy, atmospheric, beautiful. The staff is polite and pleasant.
The room is not very large, but clean and tidy. Our windows overlooked the British Embassy.
The location of the hotel is very good, 3 minutes - Istiklal street, close to a good clothing market, spice market and sweet shops.
There is a grocery store nearby.
The TV did not work in the room, it could not be repaired, the TV was replaced.
Cleaning was carried out daily.
I recommend it!)
An excellent, high-quality modern hotel in one of the historical districts of the city - Beyoglu Pera, in the vicinity of the famous Istiklal shopping street, running from Taksim Square to Galata Tower.
The beauty of the hotel lies in its location - "both aside and in people" - in one mini-block from Istiklal, on a street parallel to it. I will not go into detail here about the other charms of this location, including excellent shopping, good transport accessibility (almost equal distance from all the main attractions of the city), the unique charm of Istanbul with its narrow shopping streets filled with countless colorful shops, cafes and restaurants - all this is here!
Speaking specifically about the hotel that is the object of this review:
1. Excellent high-quality and fairly fresh renovation and ergonomic furniture (at least in the room that we got);
2. Us, without unnecessary questions and hints of a reward, check-in for 3! an hour earlier than the scheduled check-in hour - special gratitude and respect to the reception staff for this!
3. well, "for dessert" - excellent, varied high-quality breakfasts - here any normal person will find something to "refuel" well before a walk around Istanbul.
The only "fly in the ointment" in all this splendor is the creaking mattress on the bed. But personally, this did not bother me too much, given the fact that at the end of every day spent in this magical eastern city, I fell "without legs" and slept very well and soundly, despite the aforementioned drawback!
In general, I HIGHLY recommend this hotel if you are a normal, moderately pretentious person who does not expect miracles from a 4-star hotel in the center of this tourist city, for ~ $115 per night.
A great hotel, a little away from Istiklal. Despite the fact that there are many cafes and bars nearby, the hotel itself was quiet. There will be no panoramic views from the balcony, but we did not need it. Perfect cleanliness, daily cleaning, very friendly staff and excellent breakfasts. I highly recommend it, excellent service, I will be happy to recommend it.
A wonderful hotel, cozy rooms, provide all the additional details, very good location. We took a double standard. The accommodation included breakfast buffet, my friend and I liked it, a large selection of delicious dishes. There is a small gym with a sauna. The staff is polite and helpful.
The hotel is excellent in location, everything is within walking distance - you can eat and have a snack nearby and for every taste and budget. The main attractions are close by, the rooms are clean, the breakfasts are simple.
A great hotel. The staff is very polite, everything is quickly done and explained. Good breakfasts, hearty, the waiters also bring everything quickly. Everything is clean, the prices are super. I will definitely come back)
The hotel made a positive impression from the very beginning! It turned out that there was NO need to pay the taxi driver for the transfer, and the guys at the reception quickly got through to him, the taxi driver quickly returned back and gave the money (at first I thought it was a tip of 55 €). Our suitcases were accepted at the entrance, everything was quickly arranged in the lobby and given a cool room with a balcony. The receptionist took our suitcases to the room, showed us everything there and told us about the surroundings and interesting places of the city. There is a panel in the room with 2 buttons: "clean my room" and "do not disturb"; press one of the buttons and your choice lights up on the external scoreboard, so the maid will see what you need. Speaking of maids, I would like to say that they are all very nice people, they communicate well in English, so I recommend leaving tips for them ;)
Canteen. At the moment, breakfast starts at 7:30 and ends at 10:30. The waiters are very pleasant, sociable, they will always help, tell you everything and help. There is also a waiter offering himself as a city guide [he will find you himself if you are interested in this :)]
There are a lot of different foods, especially eggs in almost all their forms, but there is no pork.
The hotel is located in a quiet location, the noise of the nearby Istiklal street will not be heard, which is comfortable. And in the evening you leave the hotel and plunge into the world of dreams, where carts with simits, tea in the armada, cats everywhere and the star of the street is an ancient red tram (for 2 weeks of rest we could not penetrate it). Although I would like to say that in the morning there is no one on this noisy street, this is a big plus of this hotel and all hotels in this area as a whole.
It is convenient to get to the metro, the green line M2: Shishkhane (to the right, as you exit onto Istiklal Avenue) and Taksim (to the left).
Relax with pleasure!
We were at this hotel from February 29th to March 5th. The impressions are just great: the furniture is new, clean, cozy. There is a very delicious smell in all the corridors, atmospheric. Everything you need is there: shower accessories, towels, tea, water, kettle. On the second day, a plate of fruit was brought (free of charge). Good breakfasts until 10:30: the choice is not very large, but everything is there, delicious. Friendly staff and excellent location — Taksim or Shishkhane metro station is 7-8 minutes on foot, and Istiklal Street, Istanbul's main shopping street, is next to the hotel. You can order a transfer to the airport — 55 euros (on 03/05/2024) or take the metro (to the new airport) — this is also convenient.
A great hotel, we recommend it!
Excellent hotel, excellent location, a variety of delicious breakfasts, helpful staff. Everything is perfect. If I visit Istanbul again, I will definitely stay at this hotel.
The hotel could be good if it weren't for a few fat cons.
1. Immediately upon check-in, I discovered that the toilet bowl on which the "sanitized" tape hangs was defiled by previous residents. This moment immediately influenced the impression and the following conclusions were formed on its basis.
2. The coffee and cream that came with the room and were updated daily along with the cleaning were 1-2 months overdue, we discovered this when we already tasted the disgusting drink.
3. The audibility in the room is very high, as from a noisy street (I generally do not recommend this area for a long stay, music until morning, vibrations) so from the neighbors, you can hear everything, and especially the loud slamming of the door, which will be heard from all over the floor.
Otherwise, apart from this unfortunate toilet, the hotel and the room are clean enough, they clean every day, everything is neat. The furniture is good, clean, in excellent condition, a good bed, a beautiful bathroom. Good, varied breakfasts. Good staff. The location is very good for this area.
We stayed at the hotel for 5 days. Every day, the room is cleaned unobtrusively, no one interferes. The breakfasts are excellent. The reception has excellent service. They will always help with any question when contacting you. Thank you, we will definitely come back
A nice, quiet hotel 100 meters from Istiklal street, while very quiet despite the busy night street life. The breakfasts are not bad, there is enough of everything. I didn't have enough milk porridges, but this is Turkey. Gym, sauna. I recommend everything nearby. We were in August 24th
The standard room was paid for, they settled in the basement, indicating that there were no other rooms available))
2 towels were put on 3x, mold is green on the balcony, the smell of dampness in the room is with the balcony closed, and if the balcony is opened, then all the pillows shake from the bass from the club that is nearby))
the hotel is good: the staff is friendly, the rooms are clean, the breakfasts are delicious, the location is in a relatively quiet side street in the center of bustling Istanbul
