It is worth its 4 stars.
Nice hotel.
The area is Gorgeous, everything was within walking distance in October 2024.
The staff is pleasant and polite.
The department is clean and quiet.
The breakfasts are regular, as in 4 🌟. Transfer 5000₽ or 2100 liras one way.
I recommend visiting : Corner Irish Pub. The receipt for cocktails and snacks is about 4,000 lire or more.
Go to Galata port (if you get to the weekend, you will have time to either meet or escort the liner).
I recommend visiting the POPULIST Restaurant in the port. The receipt is about 4000rubles or more.
Visited Dolmabahce 100% worth a look and Topkapi Barn -100% worth it.
We traveled by taxi (not convenient)
and by tram (very convenient)!
I liked everything, as always in Istanbul. Well, apart from food, they have nothing to eat.
In 2024 Istanbul went gold ( prices of lira to ruble 👉🪐🪐🪐
Cozy, atmospheric, beautiful. The staff is polite and pleasant.
The room is not very large, but clean and tidy. Our windows overlooked the British Embassy.
The location of the hotel is very good, 3 minutes - Istiklal street, close to a good clothing market, spice market and sweet shops.
There is a grocery store nearby.
The TV did not work in the room, it could not be repaired, the TV was replaced.
Cleaning was carried out daily.
I recommend it!)
An excellent, high-quality modern hotel in one of the historical districts of the city - Beyoglu Pera, in the vicinity of the famous Istiklal shopping street, running from Taksim Square to Galata Tower.
The beauty of the hotel lies in its location - "both aside and in people" - in one mini-block from Istiklal, on a street parallel to it. I will not go into detail here about the other charms of this location, including excellent shopping, good transport accessibility (almost equal distance from all the main attractions of the city), the unique charm of Istanbul with its narrow shopping streets filled with countless colorful shops, cafes and restaurants - all this is here!
Speaking specifically about the hotel that is the object of this review:
1. Excellent high-quality and fairly fresh renovation and ergonomic furniture (at least in the room that we got);
2. Us, without unnecessary questions and hints of a reward, check-in for 3! an hour earlier than the scheduled check-in hour - special gratitude and respect to the reception staff for this!
3. well, "for dessert" - excellent, varied high-quality breakfasts - here any normal person will find something to "refuel" well before a walk around Istanbul.
The only "fly in the ointment" in all this splendor is the creaking mattress on the bed. But personally, this did not bother me too much, given the fact that at the end of every day spent in this magical eastern city, I fell "without legs" and slept very well and soundly, despite the aforementioned drawback!
In general, I HIGHLY recommend this hotel if you are a normal, moderately pretentious person who does not expect miracles from a 4-star hotel in the center of this tourist city, for ~ $115 per night.
